Dummies everywhere in this place. Please travel an extra 50 miles to avoid this place. Otherwise, you’re likely to be scammed hard. Mediocre at best. No surprise that when you scroll down all you see is 1 stars.

****Updated Review***** I arrived at this spread out dealership a few weeks ago on a limited time schedule.
I was looking for a GMC Acadia. They insisted on showing me a SUV, Chevrolet Traverse, that I didn’t want to look at. I had a specific vehicle in mind that I was only shown from the outside. The salesman told me they were all locked up and really pushed the the Traverse.
Fast forward about a week later when I received the bottom reply.
Make along story short, Kendell at Diamond listened to my complaints and made a really sincere attempt at trying to right the wrongs.
I was not able to make a deal at this dealership at the second attempt. There was no follow up and they seemed disorganized. The sales person I dealt with was professional and pleasant to deal with.
I would not return and I still cannot recommend this dealership.

The other reviews are 100% accurate. I would give them zero stars if I could.
I was going to look at one car and when I arrived, they told me that it was already sold and offered to show me another one. That was the first warning sign. I looked at another one, but it didn’t have any of the options that I wanted, and I balked because I was concerned that the parts were not the same as OEM partsor built to the same specs. The Sales Manager told me that the parts were «100% identical» to the OEM parts including navigation «fully integrated» into the «OEM Screen». Believing that I was getting «identical to OEM» parts, I agreed to buy the car.
The next day, I was doing research and found that the heated seats that they had told me were cushion only were actually a cushion and the back of the seat. I sent them an email highlighting this fact and mentioned a few other things. They ignored this part of the email.
Fast forward to one week later.
The salesman came to deliver the car to my house and they asked me to sign a new contract. When I was inspected the equipment that the Sales Manager had told me was OEM, it was clear that it was not «100% identical». The Navigation that they had installed was installed in such a way that it was not possible to switch easily between the radio and navigation and it was not just as simple as an App as he had tried to describe it. The controls for the heated seats were only on the side of the seat, not on the dashboard as the OEM controls are. The salesman put me on the phone with the Sales Manager who started throwing every line at me in the book… «I never said they were identical»… «I’ve been selling GM products for over 20 years and these parts don’t devalue the car and increase the value just like OEM parts»… (Later on I looked him up on LinkedIn and he hasn’t been selling cars for GM for that long). I told him that I was consulting my attorney before signing anything. At that point he basically hung up me.
After talking with my attorney and sending him pictures of the documents, it was determined that the original contract didn’t have a countersigned signature from the dealer so it was not legally binding. At this point, I exercised my right to cancel the contract and did so in writing via email. Then the Finance Manager replied that I could not cancel the contract. The next day the Sales Manager called me to say he found an OEM nav and I ignored the call.
A few weeks later, I called GM Corporate to see if my Employee Discount Number (a relative of mine used to work for GM at the factory in Framingham) was still active. GM Corporate told me that Diamond Chevrolet had reported the vehicle was sold to me! Thankfully I was able to cancel this and free up my Employee Discount Number again to use elsewhere.
I then contacted the bank that I was going to finance through and Diamond Chevrolet had also submitted the paperwork to them to try to get the loan sent through!!! Thankfully the bank rejected it because of the missing signature from the dealer on the original paperwork.
Then I got a survey in my email from Chevy asking how my experience was. I documented everything and gave the appropriate feedback.
They signed me up for emails from GM, Chevy, Onstar, etc. I even got emails from them thanking me for my business. I replied to the email from their service department informing them that I did not buy a vehicle and to contact the sales department. Unfortunately, as it turns out, the salesman was stuck with the low feedback scores that I gave the dealer.

As a 21 year old I was excited to buy my first brand new vehicle. I was looking for something specific. A little tough to find but do able if you actually give it a shot. So I go down there the first time, I am helped by Larry. Who knows what I’m looking for but is trying to sell me something I’m clearly not very interested in. He gets me to put down a refunded deposit after prying at me for some time. But I’ll get to that later. So as I was saying I was looking for a specific vehicle. A new Silverado LTZ with a 6.2 crew cab. Standard bed. The sales manager proceeds to tell me I’m looking for a truck that does not exist and that I won’t find one and he won’t even try to find one. If someone wanted to spend $ 50,000+ at my dealership I would do anything I could to make that sale. But that’s just me, anyways this guy shouldn’t be working with the public as he clearly doesn’t understand how to work with people. He runs to his computer while I’m taking to Larry to try and prove that the truck won’t exist. Sure enough they made them. Yeah they’re hard to find. Anyways then Larry says to his manger if Anthony finds one in New England can we go get it for him. He openly said no and was not whiling to cooperate with me. So there’s that.
Now… Back to my deposit on a truck I didn’t want by they forced my hand on. They call me about the truck and I ask for the refund and they are very short with me and say they will see if they can do it over the phone and Just hangs up on me. That was Larry who did that. So now the cooperating Larry is turning bitter as well. So I call them the next day and ask for the refund and they say they will see if they can do it. So I wait a day and go down there as my account still reflects the charge. I ask them to refund it and they say they already did and it could take up to 10 days to refund. Well I take their word even though they’re being snakes. Keep in mind my chase sapphire card updates very quickly and this was out of the ordinary. So 15 days later after the first refund inquiry. Still no refund. I call my credit card company. They tell me wait 5 more days. I do. No money credited to my account. So finally I have CHASE reimburse me and open a legal dispute with them over the $ 500 deposit. I get my money. Chase gets theirs. And Diamond just keeps trying to rip people off. This is just a funny side note. A guy that comes into my work frequently and was a car dealer for 20 years was there and recognized me. He was trying to buy a car for his daughter. He came in and asked how I made out and I said I walked on them and explained my story, he went on to say he walked out on them too because they have no idea what they’re doing. Just some food for thought.
Happy ending though. I found my dream truck the day after I put the deposit down on the other truck.
Update. These guys called me hours after I posted my review just to harass and call me a liar.

I would have given 0 stars if it were possible. I had a terrible experience with this dealership after trying to return my father’s leased car after he passed away. Terrible customer service, no communication and I was not provided with information to make an informed decision. Please read a letter I wrote to the T&G:

DRIVE AWAY! LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS!!!
I bought a Chevy Cruze there a year ago. First off, the sales man was very nice we liked him, it was the guy who is his boss and the finance manager who were sneaky snakes! The car’s heated seat was shot, asked will they fix it, oh no problem they told us. Then, it had scratches all over it, will you buff it out, yah no problem. Well, what got us was how sneaky the sales manager was he wouldn’t give me a trade in price for my car, insisted I get all my paperwork drawn up before they do. So, we sat with the finance guy, he was just as sneaky! I asked him about that stuff he said oh yah no problem. Well, I said I want more for my car, they were giving me hardly anything for a decent used car. Once he gave a me a little more we signed everything. I go to pick it up, nothing was fixed. They told me we never wrote it down so weren’t not fixing it. WOW! So, I went and talked to the sales manager he was like ya no go. I had to call BBB, write bad reviews in order to get their attention. They fixed the seat but I still have scratches on my car.
Well, I traded it in for a Honda CRV. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The buying experience at Lundgren Honda was WONDERFUL!!! They treat you like a customer! No sly, slick tact’s behind the scenes! We loved them, made us feel great and we were able to get what we wanted to be in our price range.
I would NEVER EVER go back to Diamond!

This review is for the Service Department. My father purchased a 2010 Cadillac CTS in 2009. My complaint is for the mechanics and technicians that work here have no idea whats going on. My dad dropped off his car 4 times, for the same problem and they have yet to be able to fix it. The issue with his car is that the heating element in the passenger seat does not work properly. My dad was about to give up when i stepped in and dropped it off myself. They told me the same thing, that they needed a expert technician to take a look at it, this was back in Dec 2012. I called them every couple weeks to see what the status was and they said the same thing over and over again. So I got fed up and ended up hiring a lemon law lawyer and they got me a nice settlement check from GMC. Never again buying a Cadillac at your dealership! Can’t even fix you simple repair. Worthless!

Unbelievably shady business practices! Went there for a brand new 2012 chevrolet equinox. Knew what I wanted going in, even knew what options and color I wanted. Got there and ended up with a gentlemen who tried selling me everything EXCEPT the Chevrolet Equinox that I wanted! Then when I asked him if building the car and ordering it was an option and he told me I shouldn’t do that, he indicated that there was a fee involved. Huh? Then when I mentioned trading in my 2005 Yukon Denali he acted irritated and put out. (FYI: i purchased the Denali from Diamond a few years prior!) He said their «common practice» is to «take the kelly blue book value and cut that in half, for cars with over 100,000 miles on it!» WOW. First time I had heard that. They binged my credit 304 930 583 095 times going through different finance companies. That I am sure I will be feeling later! Needless to say; I ended up going to Durand Chevrolet in Hudson. Can’t express enough what a good decision that was! They were honest and straight forward. They told me there would be no fee to build and order my car! They all worked as a team and I didn’t feel obligated or rushed. My financing was squared away first try… and I was also offered a decent amount for my Denali, and not half of the estimated value! Please stay away from Diamond, they are glorified liars and crooks…

I purchased a used vehicle from Diamond Auto in Auburn, MA on Sept. 24^th, 2010 after viewing the vehicle on their website. The sales experience was very high pressure, which is somewhat typical from auto dealers. I’ve had numerous issues aside from this, as follows:
The first problem arose when I went to purchase the vehicle — fortunately I printed out the listing from the website, because when I went to the dealership the price mysteriously jumped by nearly $ 900 dollars. When I questioned this they did drop the price to the listing I had on hand, but personal treatment after that point declined greatly — the salespeople were clearly annoyed that they had to match the price listed on their own website, and continued to treat me as though dropping the price was a favor to me, rather than proper business practice.
The real nightmare came after the car had been purchased. The car was a decent price, and I was told it would sell quickly — this was true. I was originally hesitating on the purchase because the center console armrest (which also serves as storage in between the seats) had been broken, and they didn’t have the part on hand to be replaced.
To make the sale the salesperson (Michael M.) guaranteed me that the part was ordered and would be simple to replace if I just returned to the service department in a week or two when the part was in. I have reassurance of this detail recorded in a phone conversation. It’s been nearly three months and this problem has not been remedied. I have called the dealership no fewer than a dozen times in regards to this specific issue. The first few times the salesperson claimed error on part of their parts department and reassured that he had placed the order. I was told this one two separate occasions after visiting the dealer and inquiring about the part. I continued to call to inquire about the part nearly once a week until enough was enough, the sales person consistently failed to deliver on the original promise — I then attempted to contact the used sales manager. The supposed sales manager (every time I called I seemed to get a different person claiming to be able to help me, both male and female) would record my issue, take my contact information, and assure me that they’d call me right back. This has not happened a single time — I’ve gone through this on at least 4 separate occasions.
On the final occasion I called (the week of Dec. 19^th, 2010) I was told by a Michael M. (a different one!) that they likely wouldn’t replace the part because it was too expensive and it would take away from the profit of the sale of the vehicle. If this isn’t bad business practice, I don’t know what is — not only did they apparently lie to me to make a sale, but they also gave me the runaround for months, and when I did finally get an answer it was just a validation of the original lie. I had spent countless hours trying to contact a person to help me only to find out that they were completely unwilling to deliver on the original promise.
To top this all off, they also failed to properly file the vehicle registration — having listed the car as the wrong color. This issue has also been brought to their attention multiple times and not remedied. Now I’m going to have to waste more of my own time and money on filing a correction with the RMV because of their failings to properly serve their customers from the beginning.
In summary, Diamond Auto Group in Auburn Massachusetts uses questionable sales tactics, has directly lied to me, has failed to remain in an acceptable level of communication, has failed to properly register my vehicle, and generally has been somewhat rude. I have been incredibly patient with the issue in giving them over 3 months to remedy it, and this complaint it being made only after seemingly exhausting all other options.
Also, This dealership seems to have the BBB logo posted on their website, which seems to be a false representation of their lack of BBB accreditation

Bought a car there last year with a few hundred on it for a little discount. There was a trim panel that was broken, but it was not visible from the driver’s seat or anything. I made them promise to fix it.
Come delivery time, I had totally forgotten about it and didn’t check and, again, it wasn’t visible from the driver’s seat.
I noticed it later and I had to bring the car in for something else so I told them about it. They said they’d fixed it. They did… or so I thought… A month later it popped off again and there was duct tape. Brought it back and they fixed it with super glue! How is this acceptable?!
They charged me $ 300 to fix an ENGINE oil sensor at 36 900 miles because it wasn’t covered under the 60k powertrain warranty. The ENGINE part wasn’t covered under the powertrain warranty. And it was only 900 miles past the bumper-​to-​bumper warranty, but no, they charged me $ 300 to change a $ 40 part that I could have changed in half an hour. I would never have brought it to them if I thought I’d have to pay. DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED AT DIAMOND! Even if it’s under «warranty»! They will BS you into paying for a repair after convincing you that your powertrain problem is not covered by the powertrain warranty.
On top of that, they are EXTREMELY pushy.
I wish I had bought at Vendetti in Franklin, but they didn’t have as good a selection. I didn’t want a sunroof. I really should have had Vendetti source a car elsewhere so I could have bought it from them instead. The salesperson at Vendetti was awesome, and I had gone there on a Sunday, too.
Edit 2: I’ve traded the car away by now but I wanted to edit this and add another annoyance about this dealership that has come back to bite me. Diamond had made me get a co-​signer even though my credit wasn’t too bad (it’s quite good now, but it was decent then). They initially told me my application was approved, but then came back and said they checked some other agency and they came up with something that would require me to find a co-​signer — a total bait and switch. They added my co-​signer to my registration and everything, when they are not supposed to do that, co-​signer or not. Now it’s making it a pain to get the new car registered correctly as I no longer need a co-​signer but now I have to jump through hoops to fix their stupidity.
Another ongoing annoyance is that they are still sending me mail about warranties and stuff. They recently called me a few times trying to sell me a car too. I don’t appreciate the pushiness. It’s been 5 years since I bought the car, over a year since I sold it, and they still want to sell me a friggin’ extended warranty for it (well, more accurately the company they sold my information to still wants to scam me into paying for a warranty). Their letters are labeled in several ways to make you think it’s some urgent thing only to be spam. The way they label the letters is so ridiculous it might actually be illegal.
So, in short, if you go to Diamond, you will: Talk to a pushy salesman, be sold a car that somehow has a loose panel, be told it will be fixed, be screwed out of said fix, only to have it repaired with duct tape when you complain. You will be sent approximately as many letters as dollars your car costs asking you to pay them more money for things like extended warranties. You will have people added to your registration for no reason. You will get screwed into paying for repairs of parts that should be covered by warranty, and you will be ripped off for the repair cost as well. Then you will get phone calls asking you to buy more cars from them. Awful. I wish I could give them negative stars.
Edit 3: Note that another dealer rating site has rejected this review for my buying experience being over a year old, even though I’ve had issues with the service and such more recently than that. This one-​star review also extends to the site DealerRater, which cannot be trusted because of their review requirements being skewed towards the dealer’s side.
Edit 4: I feel really stupid for having bought a GM to begin with! Wow! This company can rot in h***! Ignition switch problems that have caused deaths and they denied it as much as possible. Now brake problems, wiper problems and tons of other problems with more GM cars. You would have to be an idiot to buy a GM today. I was an idiot, but fortunately I already fixed the problem and switched brands.
Edit 5: I was re-​reading some reviews on this Dealership because I wanted a few laughs. Brandon, your review was originally deleted because you either work for the company or were paid. Every positive review except for Todd’s is from someone with under 5 reviews, and they are generally about one positive review a week. Fraud is illegal, Diamond. Don’t fall for these fake reviews. Fortunately Unilocal is at least filtering them out.

Hmmmmmm… I read the only other review on Diamond and I’m not too sure if I can even review this as I’m a disgruntled customer who got shafted by this company. Hell with that! I’m going to anyway.
They outfitted me with my Chevy Crossover without a problem… okok there were ALOT of problems from the first hour I sat down to negotiate a price. So many problems that the loan guy got fired .how’s that. That was only the beginning. Then we couldn’t get our car inspected because the finances were all F’d up. Took over 1 ½ weeks to get that done. Refinanced 3 times before they finally got that right. That was only the first 2 weeks of owning a vehicle from them.
6 months later we started having problems starting my car… they wouldn’t pay for anything because as the service dept said it was wear and tear on the vehicle… HUH??? Then they said it was gunk on the valves and we would have to pay 120 bucks to have that taken care of. OMG! The fricken vehicle is only 6 months old and they want US to pay for that???
I could go on and on but it gets old fast and I think you know what I mean about not wanting to review this place. Never will go back not even for an oil change. Thanks Diamond for nothing

My Chevy truck, at 3 years old has been very average (sorry Detroit), but the service at this dealer, from the day of sale onward, has been wonderful. The service is quick, and they have been on my side for the (too many) warranty issues.
