Holiday Inn Express & Suites Auburn

Wonderful experience! We were in town visiting family with our 8 month old. The staff was friendly, the room spacious and clean, and breakfast provided a variety of options. It is also close to the highway. Will definitely stay here in the future!

This is the perfect place to stay just outside the Boston area. We were able to get a nice corner suite for considerably less than a standard room in the Boston area. I was extremely pleased with the quality, especially considering how reasonable the price was, I would definitely stay here again.
There is a nice little workout room, with two treadmills, two elliptical machines, and some free weights. There is also a TV, I was the only person in the room so I had control over the remote while I ran. There is also a «spa», which is a little room with a good sized hit tub.
The breakfast was decent, it ends at 9:30.
Watch your step getting out of the tub, the bottom of the tub is higher than the floor. I was a little concerned that the air unit was dripping a good amount of floor into the carpet.
All in all a great place to stay for the price. I would recommend it.

It’s a nice property and convent to the Mass Pike. There’s a little traffic noise on the pike side but it’s not unbearable. The room was clean and didn’t have a funky odor like some other places. One warning about the tub, it’s very slick, no tread just slick plastic.

Glad I accidentally found this hotel. I was looking for a hotel in downtown Worcester but they were all booked for the weekend. This Holiday inn was about 6 miles away. It’s off the expressway on an obscure side road. Even though they are under construction throughout the hotel everything is immaculate & clean! Our room was spacious & very clean. There are fresh cookies in the lobby for guests. Breakfast is included as well!

Everyone was always so friendly, cheerful and wanted to make sure that you were having a perfect stay. Lovely.
Our room was clean and comfortable, complete with a microwave and fridge to store whatever leftovers we had. The breakfast selection was pretty good with everything like eggs, sausage, biscuits, oatmeal, yogurt and their signature cinnamon rolls. They also had coffee/​tea available ²⁴⁄₇ as well as a little «store» where you could get drinks, snacks and the random microwavable burrito. There also was an abundance of apples for guests to take.
Although the hotel is not located next to anything (food-​wise), it is in a really convenient location to tons of food options. There’s the typical chains located nearby, but if you do some Unilocaling, you’ll find other local gems, too. It’s also located near the interstate, so convenient to whatever location you gotta go to.
Oh, and shout-​out to the awesome woman manning the breakfast area when she told me of my minor wardrobe fail.

Clean and convenient to the highway. However, so close to the highway that if your room is facing the highway you will hear loud trucks down shift as they enter the ramp for the Mass Pike. The biggest problem, the hotel can do something about, the mattress. My king size bed had good pillows and sheets and a rut on the left side that would pull you in-​that would have been really interesting if two use that bed. Hotels need to be reminded that they are in the sleep business, when they fail to provide a comfortable bed nothing else matters. Also I would question the staff’s training. When I checked-​in the front desk clerk loudly told me my room number-​nobody else was in the lobby, however, this is a bad habit any time. There is a sign in the parking lot that informs that they take no responsibility for auto thefts, the least they can do is follow the standard hotel practice of never saying a room number out loud. Sleep and safety are my top two hotel needs.

One of my best hotel experiences. Doug at the front desk was so nice (As was Penny, who let us check in early). The room was clean, the shampoos, etc were good quality. Breakfast food was decent as well. There is a mall close by and good running trails. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Auburn.

The staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful. I had stayed at this hotel for 6 weeks while attending training for work. The hotel is clean and modern and the beds are very comfortable. They offer a free breakfast in the morning which is convenient. There are a lot of restaurants in the area and it’s right off the highway. My only complaint about the hotel is that there is only 1 elevator. This hotel is relatively busy and sometimes it takes and long time to hitch a ride to your floor.

Great hotel at affordable price. The room we had was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking nearby. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and clean. Front desk staff was welcoming and friendly. Only negative to entire stay was our neighbors in the room next door were totally inconsiderate of other guests and slammed doors until 2a. Hotel manager felt bad and tried to help but damage was done. I’ve stayed here before and certainly will again. Hopefully with more considerate people.

Very clean and reasonably priced hotel. All the modern amenities that you would expect from a corporate hotel chain. The staff was very friendly and never seemed like they were overwhelmed. It was a busy weekend night and the staff went above and beyond at times to make sure that every guest was cared for in a professional prompt manner. The free breakfast was great… They even had many healthy options too. If you are visiting Sturbridge Village as we were, this is minutes away from the attraction and is a wonderful option. I highly recommend!!!

I needed a place to go for a local conference at a nearby college in Worcester. The college recommended this place, but I looked around first. I decided that for the price, under $ 100 for the conference block, this was the best deal.
My room was clean and quiet, the desk clerk was pleasant and I had scrambled eggs and bacon with decent tasting coffee in the included breakfast.
My only gripe: The pillows were super soft and my neck ached on the way home. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, but not firm. There was also ample parking and I felt safe in the hotel’s location.

Awesome staff, recommended a good restaurant. Comfy beds, clean room and tasty breakfast. Good value for our $ 100

I like this HIE because it is close to our corporate office.
Like most HIE, but not really out of the ordinary.
The one thing I don’t enjoy about this one is the 1^st floor rooms are smoking rooms and the hallway they are in goes to the back of the hotel and if you want to go out that door instead of walking around the whole hotel you have to walk through the smoking section — I walk around the outside of the hotel. :)
