Megan Rose is a rockstar! She has been doing my hair for the last few years and she is the only one I trust with my hair. She always has the best suggestions and also up for a challenge. I love how excited she gets when I walk in and say I need a change. She is always up for a challenge and always takes the time to make sure my style is exactly what I want. She also does up dos and I am so excited to have her do my hair for my wedding!

Super friendly with great service! Was leaving for a two week vacation in less than 12 hours, when my appt with another salon had cancelled my sugaring appt 2hours before the appt. They came in on their day off to help me out! They now have a life long customer :)

Decided to get some landscaping done and cringed at the thought of another hot waxing situation. I found Images here on Unilocal and I have to say, Unilocal has impressed me again.
Amber was AMAZING with my sugaring treatment. I’m a very large woman, and I get that not a lot of people are on board with that, so I called to make my appointment and told her about my size and asked if she was cool. She said yes and notified me that the room she uses is upstairs. I’m an active fat girl, so no biggie. (If you have a problem with stairs, these are steep and sort of narrow).
The room was super clean and smelled great. We listened to some country music and had great conversation during the service. Amber explained exactly what was happening at each stage and made me feel very comfy from the get-​go. I will definitely be visiting her again.

Jessica is my life saver!
I needed to find a new stylist and she was recommended to me by a girlfriend. The last stylist I had completely damaged my hair and gave me wrong information, so the hunt was on!!! After I left my first appointment with Jessica, I felt like a new woman!!! I’ve been back since and I’m still VERY pleased with the job she does. She has a great attitude and very nice. PLUS… She doesn’t charge an arm and a leg… Very reasonable pricing.

Sent the wonderful Jessica some pictures that I liked and told her to style which ever she thought would be best. Boy was she right. Jessica is AMAZING and I will continue referring everyone to her. Been coming here for a few years now. Great service every time!

I have gone here quite a few times. Jessica A. is the only girl who has done my hair and she is amazing! She is very polite, talented and most importantly HONEST! Her and I have become great friends and I will NEVER let anyone but her do my hair. She did my hair for my wedding and Amber did my makeup. Both did a phenomenal job. I love you girls and will keep continuing to come to your salon for my hair and makeup needs. Keep up the great work!!!

My cousin had been the one to buy the Groupon for a sugar waxing treatment & was amazed at her results so I decided to try it myself!
I am definitely not a shy or modest person in the sense, so I was very open to getting a Brazilian wax (my first ever). I had never been waxed anywhere but under my chin before & ALWAYS ended up with burns from the typical waxing — super hot & hair pulled off with a sheet. Sugaring was COMPLETELY different. The only part that actually hurt was when she was applying the wax, the pulling off part itself was not as painful. To my surprise, there was no burning or stinging after. When I began to sweat from a super adrenaline rush — Amber was very courteous & even asked if I needed her to stop.
I have been back to see Amber at the salon three times so far. Even though it is a bit out of my way (I live all the way near Canyon Rd. in Puyallup), it is definitely worth the drive to this salon. It is always clean and never crowded, so you are always treated perfectly and patiently. Amber could not have been any nicer & open to talking during the waxing itself. She even let my cousin & I stay in the same room while we both got our waxes done.
I have not had my hair done at the salon, but I would definitely recommend the waxing services from Amber ANY DAY. The salon itself seems great enough, I might have to give it a try as well soon ! =)

I got the recent LivingSocial deal for a Brazilian sugaring treatment. I’ve been sugared once before, at a salon I swore I wouldn’t go back to.
The salon is off a busy street in Auburn, but it has an off-​street parking lot. Walking in, I was greeted immediately by a receptionist. I was amazed that the salon was empty, but I guess a Tuesday morning isn’t the busiest time for a salon. It seems like the building was re-​purposed from a residential — there are lots of sectioned off areas, so you would have a lot of privacy even just getting your hair done. The sugaring treatment room was upstairs behind the reception desk, with a closed door for privacy. The door was frosted glass, which gave me some hesitation, but when Amber, my technician left the room so I could change out of my clothes, I couldn’t see her movement outside of the room.
Amber was my technician, and it was like night and day from my last treatment. She talked me through each step, and was forthright about the area she would be grooming (as opposed to my previous technician hesitating over saying «labia»). She moved quickly, and adhered to sanitary practices.
The whole process took about 15 minutes, and then she moved onto my eyebrows after sanitizing the whole station. I was a little concerned that she had gone too quickly and that there would be patches missed, but I was AMAZED when I checked after the procedure. Not a hair was left behind! (To compare to my previous again, the first treatment I had took upwards of 45 minutes.)
Amber did offer details about their packages during the treatment, but I was grateful for a topic of conversation, rather than feeling «sold to». I did sign up for their member program, where you receive a portion of any treatment’s cost back, to spend on a new one. Kind of like a «buy 9, get the 10^th free», only not so set in stone.
I’ll be back for sure for sugaring, and I am seriously considering taking my hair to this salon as well, since I don’t have a steady hair stylist.
For people who are hesitant about sugaring — let me offer this comparison. Waxing feels like ripping duct tape off. Sugaring feels like ripping masking tape off. They have the same results, hair removal wise, but you’re much less likely to bleed from hair follicles when sugaring, since the sugar solution lubricates the hairs to slide them out, rather than ripping them forcefully. Plus who likes trying to get residual wax off? Sugar solution comes off with warm water and a washcloth.
