Well, I just had the BEST pedicure in the entire universe!!!
Jennifer was fantastic. She was attentive and responsive. Great massage!
I too am in the beauty industry, I know all of the regulations for cleanliness & they obviously take it as seriously as I do.
Also, they were all very friendly & professional
I’ve never been offered anything to drink in a nail salon before so that was a pleasant surprise as well.

They don’t have a great selection of polishes so next time I’ll be sure to bring my own if I have something specific in mind but overall… It was a stellar service & they have the basics as far as colors are concerned.

This is a great nail spot in Auburn. I have started coming every time I am home and have been satisfied and impressed each time. Lee is very kind, talkative, and personable. I enjoy chatting with him when I go in.
Both the gel manicure and regular spa pedicure are worth the money and last longer than expensive salons I have been to in the past.
I will keep coming here!

This place is really nice. Lee is fantastic. My friend is sitting next to me getting a mani/​pedi too and it is spot on professional. This place is great and HIGHLY sanitary.

New owners and best pedicure I’ve ever had! She spent good length of time and used great technique to remove dead skin… feet felt soft and polish stayed a long time.

A excellent place for some much-​needed pampering. I personally get the French manicure, I always love how it turns out. When time permits I usually get a pedicure which involves a wonderful leg massage and beautiful pedi. Prices are great and customer service is top notch. I recommend!!!

Got my nails done her once was satisfied. But this time around I got a man and I explained to him how I wanted my nails i told him i want them long almond shaped I kept reminding him and than he told me how short I told him I wanted them long than he begins cutting them and he said short better for you and he cut them short he did the opposite of what i wanted then he said he be back after waiting 15 minutes a lady came to finish up I told her I wanted long and he did them short she tried pulling the fake nail from my real nail when it already had glue I told her it hurt and she kept going after a while she was just kept being rude about everything. Not coming back!

This was one of the most incompetent nails salons I have ever been too… I called before hand to see if i could get a fill for my nails in less than an hour to accommodate for my hour lunch break, and spoke with a gentleman that said yes that he could do it in less than 45 minutes. So I headed over and let them know that I was here for my fill, the guy seemed confused as if he had no clue what I meant. I began repeating myself saying a fill ya know… a fill. He said that he wouldn’t be able to do that because it would be too challenging. I shook my head in disbelief. I went to the female there which i believe was the manager, I think her name was Tina, and said to her that I don’t understand the problem, and that I felt that there a miscommunication of some sort. I said that all i need today is a fill today on my nails. She then began saying oh you need a color change? I got so upset by the incompetence and language barrier, that I just stormed out the door. Worst customer service ever. If your running a nail salon you should know what a fill is. One of the worst nail places that i have ever been too. Will never go again.

Probably one of the best nail salon in the area. I have been to many places before so may standard is pretty high, but my first experience with this place is wonderful. I called in to make an appointment as my friends have been telling me about this place and I finally had a chance to. Staff is very nice and professional. I love how easy it is to communicate with them. The lady who did my nails did an excellent job. She took her time and did not rush through steps like many other places though when I came in was their busy time. They have a great selection of good quality products and beautiful colors to choose from. Sanitation procedures are strictly followed. They clean up after every customer. If you are in the area and looking for a decent place to have your nails done, you definitely should try this place. You should make appointment before you come.

The people at Lee’s Nails are sssooo verrry nice and GOOD! Tina does my nails better than anyone has ever done. The shop is VERY clean and welcoming. I have also had their wonderful Pedicure’s…great chairs & wonderful massages! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for QUALITY!

Terrible service. I was waiting for a fill for 30 minutes, then someone apparently of higher status came in 20 minutes before her 4:15 appointment and the employee told ME to leave and come back later after I had already been waiting so long in order to accommodate this other lady’s needs even though she was too early for her appointment anyway. Do not go here. The worst.

This is the best nail salon i have ever been to! They have all the colors you could think of. Super friendly staff and they want you to have the best experience you can. Ive been going for about a month now and every time is perfect from the shape and color to the pricing!

Ugh, two stars for them being friendly and the place appearing clean; they use the plastic in the pedicure tubs.
I’m totally a ranter, and I’m going to try to not rant…
1. They DO NOT have gel nail polish and the matching/​corresponding same regular color nail polish (so you cannot get matching pedicure with gel manicure color). HOWEVER, they will tell you that they do. So, if you get your gel first, you are screwed, because they will just look for the closest regular nail polish color they have is and start painting. And no, it won’t be the same.
2. The gel nail polish colors that you look through DO NOT correspond to the physical gel nail polishes they have on the wall. Meaning, you may pick the light pink labeled number 76, but then they go to look for it, and its not there, and then they just try to find something similar and convince you. This also is a problem when you get a pedicure FIRST, have it to match the gel you are going to get, and then the gel polish is NOT EVEN THERE… and nothing even close!
3. They do not actually have all the gel nail polish colors that you look through to pick out. So when you pick one out, don’t get your hopes up that they actually have it.
4. Actual gel manicure. Really bad. You have to be pretty precise (or at least try to clean it up afterwards) so its not bleeding in to your cuticles. Well this is the case, I guess, with any manicure. Regardless, it was the worst paint job I’ve ever had.
Who knows how long it will actually last.
5. I glanced at their regular nail polish colors. Not impressed with selection. Lots of winter-​y colors, not very many summer-​y ones.

I used to absolutely HATE Mai’s Nails. The new owner and her staff are so nice! They truly cared about my service. I highly recommend Lee’s nails.

Let me tell you, this place is now great. You need to try them. I have been ridiculously busy lately and really wanted to squeeze in a pedicure before a vacation this week but wasn’t sure it was possible because the only time I had free was a Sunday late afternoon. I called what I thought was Mai’s nails at 4:45 because Unilocal said they were open til 5:30. Lee answered and said they close at 5 but he’d stay for me. I got there and got a pedicure and gel manicure. They were so nice and very eager to please, the shop looked fresher and cleaner under the new owners. Not only did they stay late on a Sunday evening just for me, but they did a great job. My pedicure is the best one I’ve gotten in years. Lee did a great job and was very detailed.
They have a fresh, full selection of colors, way better than when it was Mai’s. The massage with the pedi is amazing.
Lee also told me to tell everyone I know that the services are $ 5 off for the next month for the reopening. Lastly, he gave me a bunch of business cards and on the back is a loyalty incentive, buy 10 services, get one free. It’s about time a salon rewards your loyalty!
I usually go to other salons but went this one time because of the late hours. I left very impressed and will now return to Lee’s regularly.
