The price they quoted me on the phone was $ 95 and the final price at check was $ 125 for an oil change on the BMW. I bought two cars here and I know that they’re service dept is good.
They have a nice waiting area with food and beverages. The personnel are fairly professional.
I had called 3 – 4 places for a price on a 7 QT Synthetic Oil change and they had the best price.
I should have known there was a problem when I checked in the service rep was confused. While I was in the waiting area, she came over and said the charge would be $ 100. I said fine. Then at check-​out is was $ 125! That’s dishonest.

Had my car in for some serious maintenance. I checked out their work when I got home, found some mistakes that could have easily been avoided, reported it, and the service center staff have not replied back.
This is a surprise, because the first time I went they seemed super eager for me to fill out their online feedback form. Overall, I get the impression the service center at Lundgren Honda cares more about having the *appearance* of good customer service vs actually providing it.

Extremly disappointed. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

My husband and I were looking for a used car.
The sales customer has been very good at selling us the car. But once we had trouble with it (within the next 10 days) it ended up being a different story.
We brought them the car back and went back home renting a car (about 1 hour driving).
When we picked up the car a few days later we realized they didn’t do any work and the problem was still there.
We had to bring the car a second time. It took them at least a week to work on the car. Meanwhile they didn’t offer us any help (by landing us a car or even just to get back to our home, an hour away) eventhough it was already the second time we came.
When my husband asked them to reimburse us the coast of the renting car (for the day), which was a symbolic 40 $, they refused.
My husband didn’t give up and they called the police.
The sales manager also told us he is the general manager and did not hesitate to lie to us.
Now, after 3months with the car, we already had again a 1000 $ bill repair and they were not even able to screw the plate properly, so it is about to fell off.
Stay away from this very bad dealer.
if you end up having trouble with your car they won’t fix it at all even if it’s within the 30days guarantee.

The absolute biggest crooks! If you do not want to get ripped off stay away from this place! From the sales dept all the way over to the service department– they will try to screw you at every turn. Beware — go somewhere else.

Owning a small business, I often enough find myself paying close attention to how other businesses have successfully (or not) developed customer service. Recently my wife and I purchased our 3^rd Honda from Lundgren which has given me the chance to see how well their teamwork functioned even when our circumstances threw them some curves.
When our 2^nd Honda was totaled a couple of months ago Ryan & Riley Campbell networked with other staff to make sure the insurance company offer was appropriate. Their offer to help paid off with the settlement amount being raised by another $ 1,600.00.
Ryan researched some well intended but misleading information that my bank had provided and went onto seamlessly coordinate the retiring of the loan on my totaled vehicle (using GAP insurance picked up through Lundgren) with the new loan. All done more quickly than my wife and I had expected, especially since they were in the midst of a hectic Presidents Day Sale.
Guys, thanks for all the hard work!

First of all I came to Lundgren to see salesman Fraser Moss due to a referral from a friend who had purchased a CRV with him. I had the best car buying experience I’ve ever had at Lundgren Honda. Fraser made the buying experience comfortable for me with open and honest information, and with a delightful side of humor. Because of Fraser I will absolutely be coming back to Lundgren to have my car serviced, and I will be sure to refer friends and family! Thank you so much! I love my new 2016 Honda Civic EX!!!

They have the most friendly staff possible and every time I’ve come to get an oil change it’s been a pleasant experience. However, on the website it says the service department is open until 7 on Thursdays. I drove into the service department at 5:45 and was told that they only had 15 minutes to finish up the car they were working on before they closed.
The woman I spoke to said that service meaning herself was open until 7 but the technicians were supposed to leave at 5. Needless to say it was a frustrating situation and a little bit of false advertising on their part.

I bought a car I didn’t want from Diamond Auto group down the street, drove it for 1 year and decided I wanted to lease a suv instead. Went here, they were super nice and did everything they could to buy my car back and lease me a Honda CRV. I got what I wanted and now I love going here! My whole family now buys there cars here! I even love how I go get an oil change and they do a free car wash! My lease has 1 year left and I can’t wait to upgrade from them!

In my latest search for a new vehicle, Lundgren Honda has, by far, had THE most friendly, courteous, patient and professional staff I’ve yet to encounter. From speaking to the very friendly and accommodating Valerie on the phone multiple occasions in Sales customer service to having the very friendly, easy-​going and knowledgeable Riley as my product specialist, you’ll never come across a more welcoming crew to put you at ease while you make your decision.
Even while I waited at my salesman’s desk as he was off handling our business, other salesman that had nothing to do with us still greeted me with a smile and a «how’re you doing?» as they walked by. They really make sure that you feel like you’re in the right place.

I have been hemming and hawing about writing this review for months. I was so emotionally traumatized and violated that I couldn’t even think about the incident here. I just got something in the mail from them and I had to write this
I purchased my 2008 Honda Civic XL from Lundgren Honda in Greenfield in December 2013. I met Mr. Lundgren, the flashy one with the slicked back hair, when I first went to pick up my car. Anyways, life has been good for the last 2 years of having the car.
About four months ago my car started making a horrible grinding noise when I was driving, which stopped when I braked. It was a scary noise and I couldn’t figure out what the heck was happening. I have AAA; I had it towed from Danvers MA to Auburn so that I could have it looked at by the dealer. I really trusted Lundgren to give me the straight answer. I’ve always felt taken care of by them (did I mention this was my second car in 5 months? totaled the other one).
Me and my car travelled separately and I made it to Lundgren before the tow truck. I sat at Lundgren for an hour before I decided to call AAA and ask if they had dropped it off because the woman I was speaking with, whom I won’t be naming, said it hadn’t come yet. AAA was like, «dude we dropped it off like 25 minutes ago.» So I had to walk around outside, with the woman who was handling my repairs that day, to find my car.
Meanwhile my girlfriend and I were attempting to describe what was happening with my car and what I wanted exactly looked at and what I needed. At the time I didn’t know that she was looking at her computer screen and typing and saying «uh huh» every second because she was recording what I was saying. I thought she was being incredibly rude and cut me off when I was speaking to her about my car. At that time, it was understood, or so I thought, that I was just going to have those things looked over. I signed some paperwork and sat back down.
After another hour or so of waiting, the woman, with vibrant blonde hair and dark makeup, brought me back to her desk/​computer in the service area and gave me the news. She told me that my steering rack was all screwed up and that, with the tune-​up package I really wanted, it was going to come to $ 2400.
Let’s take a break here and talk about how I’m a social worker. I drive for a living to see my clients, whom are disabled and living in their own homes. I need this car for my job and I get fairly compensated but not enough to have that money. Let’s get real. So I began to cry as she showed me the book with the illustration of what a steering rack even IS. She of course told me the worst case scenario that my car would basically murder me as this thing malfunctioned in the near future.
Back to the story, my girlfriend’s brother is a mechanic for a living, has been working with a very reputable and quality brand of car on the North Shore for over a decade. She’s on the phone with him asking if this is legit while I stood there and told the middle-​aged woman with blonde hair my life story and why this was going to be a big deal for me.
My girlfriend comes back in and is like, «let’s go get lunch and think this through, this is really going to put you in a tight financial situation. We should start discussing trade-​ins.»
So I went to Peppercorn’s in Worcester, GO THERE! The food is amazing.
I call everyone I know and they say to trade the car, get a new one. I call my mechanic friends and family and they said there’s no way I screwed up my steering rack. I call a family mechanic and he quotes me $ 800 for the issue including the engine mount that was broken.
We get back to tell the short middle aged blonde woman that it’s a no-​go and she begins ringing us up to close the deal. Apparently, while she was typing away when we first began speaking with her, she signed me up for an oil change and the labor/​diagnostics that were run on my car. My girlfriend and I attempted to contest the charge and I expressed my feelings of not being heard at the beginning, which she told me wasn’t a «fair» judgment of what she did. Basically, she treated me like a gigantic piece of shit once she lost my $ 2400 of UNNECESSARY business. I had JUST gotten my oil changed 500 miles ago and they don’t even look at the oil before they begin to change it to verify that it NEEDS to be done. They charged me $ 114 for a wasted day and an oil change no one needed.
My steering rack had nothing wrong with it. It was my brakes. It cost me $ 500 for that and the engine mount.
Did they even look at my car? Was this a case of a mistaken identity? No. It wasn’t.
I’m so disappointed and this completely shattered my trust in the dealer. I wanted to have a reputable source take care of my car so that it would look better at trade-​in.
Nothing will make me go back to Lundgren. That woman hurt me very deeply and my distrust of mechanics, etc has been confirmed.
The kicker: the woman told me my brakes were fine.

I busted my run flat tire on a nasty pothole this evening. I was close to Lundgren Honda. I called as I drove on my rim. They offered to help. I pulled in and right away they attended to me. It turned out they couldn’t install a run flat on my Toyota. They called Town Fair Tire for me. They made sure Town Fair could do it (minutes before each business closed). I’ve been thinking of buying a Honda Pilot for my next car. They won my business tonight.

Service
1) Brought my truck (Ridgeline bought from Lundgren) in for front brakes and rotors. A week later the front end was grinding. Brought it back. After two hours the Service Adviser came out to talk to me. The Service Adviser lectured me in the waiting room about doing my own maintenance and how I should have changed both of the rotors and not just one. I waited for him to finish and then told him to look up the last maintenance record they had for me. Not even an apology. Four hours later they swapped out the one rotor they forgot. Six hours of my time for their miss.
2) Brought my truck in for oil change, rear differential fluid change, transmission fluid change, and tire rotation. Dropped it off at 4:30 PM with the Service Adviser, filled out the paperwork, and left my keys. Told her I’d be back at 5:00 PM the NEXT day to pick it up. Got there at 5:30 the next day and there was confusion as to why I was there and what truck. Eventually they found my keys but no paperwork. They had moved the truck around all day but had done none of the maintenance. 26 hours on the lot and no one wondered why it was there. I had to send my family to dinner without me while I waited for them to do the work. When it came time to check out they offered me 50% off. I said it’s been over 26 hours for an oil change is that’s the best you’ve got? Service manager agreed to 100% off after having to argue with them. Apparently somehow it was all my fault?
3) Foolishly I went back for a simple oil change and tire rotation. After an hour the Service Adviser came out and insisted I should get a four wheel alignment. I told her it wasn’t need and everything with the truck was fine. She kept insisting. I finally got it through that I wasn’t doing it. Drove my truck off the lot, got on the highway and my steering wheel is now turned to the right when driving straight. I called them and was told they did nothing wrong and I should’ve gotten the alignment. A day later my exhaust separated from the catalytic converter in the front of the truck. I suspect they dropped it somehow but they won’t admit to anything.
I’m done getting service from them. Should have been done after #1.

My wife and I went to them to buy a new CRV in 2014. The Saleswoman brought one around for us to test drive. Before even leaving the lot the brakes were grinding and the transmission was making an awful clunking sound. She said don’t worry, the service department would fix all of that before we drove it home. Then asked if we wanted to talk about financing. Really? This was supposedly a brand new vehicle.

I already scheduled an appointment with Herb Chambers in Westborough. Guys don’t go here to get your airbags replaced. Westborough schedule me to go in the same day! I will never go back to Lundgren. They have yet to call me to replace the recall on the drivers side. I bought my car at the Honda Dealership in NH. Also I noticed that managers come here to respond to reviews which makes them look good don’t be fooled!

Rude reception while dropping my car off for a scheduled oil change. I went in to drop my keys off because no one came to pick them up in the service bay as they usually do and the employee said «yup, well I’m right in the middle of something so just go wait by your car.» No greeting, no I’m sorry, just a snarky comment telling me to go wait. There is a nice way and a rude way and this makes me not want to return to take our cars here for service.

Literally the worst customer experience I have ever had with Honda.
Let’s just say that after having to bring our Accord back twice in a month, we have a car that won’t start. After spending $ 3000, and dealing with the inconvenience of 2 separate visits to their shop, we went from a car that was having trouble starting to a car that now won’t start at all. And now they want $ 500 to fix the issue! Because apparently for $ 3000, their «bumper to bumper» diagnostic didn’t yield the correct results. Utterly shameful. Will never bring any car back to them and will actively tell people to stay far away from this place for any service or purchase needs.

I’ve bought two cars from Lundgren and in the last two years I have been spending more time in the service department as my 2006 Civic closes in on 200k miles. Although no one will say the service at Lundgren is cheap no one can say the work is inferior and the customer service is bad. Because Lundgren excels on both points. As a repeat customer it is easy to take the level of service for granted. But after I recently had to take my car to a major, well-​know Honda dealer because they were close by at the time, I quickly came to realized how great Lundgren is.

Lundgren was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I worked with Lydia, who was absolutely great. She met me over three visits to work out the trade in price for a lease.
Lundgren gave us 3k more than any other deanship around.

Nice try Lundgren!!! I’m originally from Worcester and now live in NJ, so when the engine light on my 2005 Element came on during my business trip to Hartford and Worcester, I became somewhat concerned as I was planning on going to Maine to ski over the weekend then on to Bangor to complete my weeks worth of business meetings. The last thing I wanted is to get stuck in the middle of nowhere Maine in the dead of winter.
I knew the Lundgren name and alway thought they were a reputable business so I called them and made a late Friday afternoon appointment.
I drove in a little earlier than my scheduled appointment and found the service area to be very large, clean and impressive. I was warmly greeted by one of the service people who helped log me into their system. I explained to them my problem (hard cold weather starting & engine light) and they said they would run a diagnostic test (for $ 114) and let me know what they find. I was told it would take about an hour so I went into the very nice waiting area and started doing work on my laptop as they had free wifi.
After about an hour the service guy came in and told me that my car is running «rich» and they needed to replace the spark plugs and adjust the valves. Hmmm, I said… That’s funny because I just have the spark plugs replaced during my 100K recommended service (actual mileage was 104,532) which was only 7,000 miles ago. The service guy then had the nerve to ask me if I had the receipt, who the hell carries around their service receipts!!!
I then asked him if the car was drivable and would their diagnosis cause any harm to my car, he said no but the technician recommend having the service done, (I’m sure you would as it’s probably at least a $ 500 job). He said they would clear the engine light for me and have the car ready for me in a few minutes.
I paid my $ 114 charge and found my car outside next to the service bays… You think for $ 114 they could have at least washed my car and taken out the paper floor mat for me but I guess you have pay for that nice big dealership you have.

After waiting an hour an a half to have our 2 week old car serviced (mind you we had an appointment) we were informed that they would not honor our warrantee for tire replacement due to the fact that it had not been processed yet.
The service technician informed us that the warrantee company requested the dealer to replace the tire free of charge and they would be paid in full once the paper work had finished processing. The dealer refused and instead tried to push the bill onto us. The manager also refused to speak with us. We were left making phone calls for an additional hour to get the situation sorted out. Finally we contacted Herb Chambers in Westborough, explained the situation and they instructed us to bring the car right over. ½ hour later we had a tire free of charge and a sincere apology for the behavior of the other dealer.
The service at This Honda location was below subpar. We will never use this dealer again. Absolutely shocking considering the wonderful quality of service we have received at every other Honda dealer we have ever dealt with.
