Always a friendly atmosphere, always fresh and delicious food, usually timely– my favorite sandwich shop in town! And who doesn’t love a free fresher baked chocolate chip cookie?

Easily the best Mr. Pickles I have been to in the Sacramento area! Staff is always happy, helpful, knowledgeable, and super fast, even during the lunch rush. Try the Big Jake sandwich with everything on it. Definitely coming back!

At our staff meetings this month we have ordered from Mr Pickles. I was reluctant because I’m gluten free. The gluten free bread they use is delicious and doesn’t fall apart. They are our go to sandwich shop. I haven’t tried a sandwich I didn’t love from Mr. Pickles

I had lunch here today. I’m one of the pickiest sandwich eaters you’ll ever meet. Shannon could not have made it more perfect! She suggested the marble rye bread, and it was amazing. Super soft and fresh! I’ll be back soon!

Mr pickles is a solid sandwich spot close to the freeway. I stopped here on the way back from Tahoe and my girlfriend and I had a few sandwiches. They have a nice little outdoor seating area and you can grab a Dutch brothers coffee after your meal before you continue your journey!

Such awful customer service. The workers there are so rude and confusing. They hardly ever get your sand which right and give you attitude the whole time while making it. Really wanted to add more things to my order but didn’t want to spend any more time ordering there so I left. They need to stop hiring bitchy teenagers who act like their job making sandwiches is a hard labor job

I love this place. They acknowledge you when you walk in. They make your sandwich right in front of you. They are the best sandwiches ever, my fave being The Manhattan, which is pastrami with Swiss cheese, heated with your choice of condiments. Oh, and you get a free chocolate chip cookie! If you haven’t tried their sandwiches, you are missing out.

This is a great place to get a great variety of breads to choose from for your sandwich. The bread is very hard on the outside, but it gives your sandwich the crunch that it needs. I’ve had great sandwiches every time I’ve gone in. The guys who work there are down to earth and laid back. Be sure to read the daily trivia question to win a cookie or maybe a drink, but the answer has got to be off the top of your head, no Google searches!

I use to go to mr pickles a lot and there were a core group of 5 younger people who worked there. They all seemed like they had going on they were nice, quick and on top of it ! Also they made the best sandwiches. Today I went back after a few month hiatus to see none of them there. The place looked half way out of operation. It took way too long to get the sandwiches for only 2 customers being there. I listened to the cashier ask the gentleman ahead of me all the questions. Then the sandwich maker asked the same questions! Long story short: I really hope those other workers weren’t fired because they were much more welcoming and quite frankly better than the new corporate training headquarters as they now call themselves.

I have tried this place a couple times because I love Mr. Pickles. Huge fan. However, on each occasion something bad happened. The first time I called to see what time they closed. I had 45 minutes. I said we’d be in, but when we got there, within 20 min., they rushed to turn their«open» sign closed. They closed! My dad knocked and complained. They very, very begrudgingly served us. Complaining, the whole bit. They still had 20 – 30 minutes before closing! I had the same problem again another couple times. Never open during the posted hours. For this place, don’t count on it to be open an hour before closing. Just assume it closes an hour earlier than posted.

I’m really not sure what’s going on in Auburn with my orders. I just starting working up here 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I had a burger from Local Heroes, and today I had a sandwich from Mr. Pickles. Both times they got my order wrong. I already wrote about my burger yesterday, so here is my sandwich experience. I ordered a Got Beef sandwich on a wheat roll. I asked for mustard and pickles ONLY. Pretty simple, right? WRONG. I got Mayonaise and pickles ONLY… I HATE mayonnaise. Unfortunately, I was already back at work by the time I realized I’d been duped. Having just moved up here from SoCal, I’m baffled as to the customer service. People are MUCH nicer here, but my order is wrong about 50% of the time(probably more). Down south, my order is ALMOSTALWAYS right, but the customer service isn’t as good(not terrible though). I’d rather get the food I ordered than good customer service, but both would be awesome. Anyways, mayonnaise ruins everything, and so my sandwich was not good. I gave them 3 stars because I’ve eaten here before the the sandwich was good(although they still added Baja sauce when I said NO sauce). Ugghhhh…

I don’t think the Mr. Pickles franchise would like how this store is run. Let’s start with the fact that there are no smiling faces greeting customers here, which includes the guy who looked to be the manager. The fact that they all couldn’t give a rip whether you buy a sandwich or take a dump on their counter is more than apparent in their overall demeanor. The poor girl making my sandwich was clueless about the daily special, and if I was a scumbag I could have gotten my sandwich at the Daily Special price. The gal next to her pulled a pretty sweet maneuver when she threw away an empty sandwich bag. Took the damn thing and stuffed it down in the overflowing trash, all the while immersing her glove into the muck in the can. Somebody didn’t pay attention when she got her food-handler card. I feel sorry for the guy who got that sandwich. Well hell, at least she had on gloves?! If I’m forking over 10 bucks for a sandwich and drink, I at least want to feel like my money matters. And what happened to the portion of meat and cheese? Talk about skimpy, and furthermore, is it absolutely necessary to flatten the roll the way they do?! I mean, really. There is no appreciation for business at this location and their people skills can’t even be described as lackluster. I won’t be back and will stick with Togo’s, thanks!
