I don’t know where to begin. Steve and his crew have been working on my cars for almost ten years. Solid, knowledgable professionals with integrity. I don’t even stress anymore when things go south with the old vehicles, as things do. I just get the beast there and know I won’t be surprised with unnecessary charges when I see the tab. Have even gotten a few rides to work from the crew. Steve always lets me know what was wrong and what he did so I actually understand… I’ve learned a lot about cars since I met him. Honest, local, family-​owned service with heart will always get my business. Thanks all!

Sierra Smog, you guys have saved my day so many times!
These folks have always taken such good care of me and my family. It’s very nice to know that there is a reliable and honest company that can handle all of my needs from smogging my car to helping me when something breaks down. Simply the best, Guys! They were able to figure out and repair a problem with my jeep that the dealership could not. Also, you can skip the line at the DMV and get your tags at the same time as your smog at Sierra Smog (a very pleasant surprise as of my last visit). it is nice to know that I can send my teenage daughter or my elderly mother in and they will be treated right. You guys deserve more than 5 stars, I wish everyone had the customer service that you do. See you next time I need help!

I was having problems getting my car smogged. no 1 would help me or tell me what I needed to do. steve took the time to explain to me what needed to be done. after I did what he told me to do my car passed. very friendly and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I will never go here again. We only wanted our car smogged. I instructed my son
of that. I had no idea your business could take the registration too. Our minor child went to have it smogged and YOU (Sierra Smog) charged us for the registration too-​why because you ASSUME. They tried to blame him for doing the registration when in fact, their exact words were: «we asked him 4 times». Why did you ask him 4 times??, that’s a little pressure for a 16 year old, I would say! Under the law a minor is not responsible for business transactions due to ignorance or otherwise. The boss’ exact words to me was «You should be mad at yourself for sending a minor». No, you sir, should be happy that it’s through the DMV otherwise you would have been eating the $$ because you registered a car that was NOT in his name and did a business transaction with a minor without checking to see if he was 18 (baby face, easy to tell he’s not) AND not even the owner on the registration! What an idiot move on your part. Especially to tell me you asked him 4 times if he wanted it registered, give me a break! To blame me was rude as well. The way you talk to your customers… may I suggest. «I’m so sorry this happened. Unfortunately, we can’t take it back, I can check with DMV to see if there is a way, but highly unlikely. We are sorry!» Guess what, I definitely would have not be writing this if you would have said such simple things, instead of your rudeness and dishing of me because of your lack of responsibility of performing a «legal» business transaction with a minor without consent of a legal party on the car, I am writing this to tell everyone how rude you were. (could have been avoided), I had to hang up on you after you said those words, because I wasn’t going to hear anymore insults. BTW I didn’t want it registered because I already sold it. GRRR

This is my 5. time here. Always great customer service and I’m in and out in 25 minutes. Plus the Internet rate of $ 34.75 is such a great deal! I’m a happy customer!

Great place! I originally went in to have my car smogged. Smog went quickly, and since I’d mentioned my A/​C wasn’t working, they quoted me a surprisingly great price to repair and charge it. Went back a couple days later for the A/​C. Through both experiences the staff were friendly and did great work.
Recommended.

If you are in dire need I would go there but otherwise shop around or do it yourself. I had a stuck thermostat and that was all I wanted replaced. I got a bill for $ 175 for 30 minutes of labor and an $ 8 dollar part plus I supplied my own coolant. Never leave home without a few tools.
