History
Established in 2006.
Strings opened its 1st restaurant in 1986 by Al DeCaprio. His vision was to serve good Italian food, at an affordable price in a clean and well designed restaurant with friendly service. A small Sacramento based chain, Strings started franchising in the late 80’s and opened many Strings in the Northern California area. Frank and Monica Cathers who have been with Strings since its conception, became the chains training team, traveling to each new location. Frank and Monica opened more than 40 stores for the chain, finialy deciding in 2005 to buy and open their own restaurant. With the help and thanks to family (Tim and Melynda Cathers and Marv and Marge Ransom) it became a dream come true. The people of Auburn are very friendly and have supported them. They have been voted best Itailian resturant 2 years in a row by the wonderful people of Auburn. Strings of Auburn loves new faces so please come in for a visit.
