Tango Frozen Yogurt

Please update your hours. Twice in the last three days we have tried to come here and the shop was already closed despite the advertised hours on Unilocal

Cute place and great yogurt… friendly too. It’s self serve, quick and easy and a nice choice of toppings that seem fresh and always stocked. We have been there 4 times over the summer since we discovered the place. Nice outdoor square with a fire pit to enjoy your treat too.

I have gotten food poisoning twice here in the same month, within 4 hours of eating their yogurt (same both times.) First time off Oreo cookie yogurt with Oreo topping, second time off peanut butter yogurt with butterfinger topping. Both yogurt portions were very small thank god. 3 $ worth. Customer service person was also aloof, not a major deal, but worth the mention i guess. I Will not be going back to this place again.

Super cute little store in downtown Auburn! The yogurt is good, the atmosphere is serene. It is set in the new Auburn downtown square, in front of the fire pit. You can grab your yogurt, and go sit by the fire pit. The employees are young, but friendly. Don’t miss out on a nice evening while eating dessert.

I adore historic architecture from the crown molding on ceilings, extravagant fireplaces, to the rustic hardwood floors and this place had it all. The location might be the best feature since its located downtown Auburn right in front of town square.
The yogurt was great wt out toppings. And there was do much to look at inside. Tons of acrylic paint on canvas art bursting wt vibrant colors. Such a great place to take the kiddios. They had a window bench that ran the entire wall of windows lined wt books of all sorts.
Outside was additional seating and just a few steps away from town square. Town square offered plenty of bench seating wt a cozy fire in the center. There was even live music.
Constant flow of customers most of which were young families & had dogs! Dogs stayed outside but was great entertainment to watch them all. Will defiantly go back again. :)

If you love frozen yogurt, you’ll love Tango, great selection of yogurt that changes weekly, well stocked toppings with a great selection as well. You can grab a cup of frozen yogurt and enjoy walking around downtown on a regular evening.

Great frozen yogurt, not too many different flavors but a ton of toppings! Was expecting to pay somewhere around $ 8 for my fro yo but it was only $ 3! At .45c per oz, this place is a great deal!!!

What yum!!! Had some watermelon frozen yogurt with dark chocolate bites :) there’s also BlackBerry yogurt, rice krispie flavor and so on. It’s a 2 story icecream place. Outside there’s a nice fire going and a beautiful outdoor setting. I am happy.

I absolutely adore the outdoor fire pit. Tango is a great place to hang out in the summer nights! I’ve also never come across a snotty employee, like at some yogurt shops.

We stopped by in Auburn on the way back to the Bay Area, and really liked Tango Frozen Yogurt. The frozen yogurt is delicious, and the place has very artistic interior.
The service was great. My daughter left her jacket behind, and we discovered it only when we got back home to the Bay Area. Tango Frozen Yogurt graciously mailed it to us. Thank you! Yulia.

Absolutely delicious yogurt with a very large selection of toppings. Prices are very reasonable and there’s no better place on a warm summer night than to sit outside in downtown Auburn and have some frontal-​yo.

They have a large variety if flavors that change often. They have a vast amount of different toppings and prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and courteous. I stop here at least once a week in the summertime for an afternoon snack, since it’s a short walk from my office. I would definitely recommend this place.

I love this place. It really has it all. Great YOGURT, Great Owner, Great atmosphere and a Great location. The owner of this business is super active in the community and is just an overall super nice and hard working person. She hires and trains good people who are super friendly. The Yogurt flavors are rotated nicely and the new flavors are often posted on Facebook. Because it is so good overall it can sometimes get a bit crowded but relax and enjoy because it is so worth it.

Only thing I would say is SOME of their staff (other are great) are just standing around messing with their very loud high school friends and not very professional. There was a huge group standing around the counter with the worker joking around kind of in the way for quite awhile. They were also all taking sample cups and filling them up quite high and many times :/​was pretty annoying sitting inside. But the yogurt is so yummy I can look past that :)

One of the best yogurt shops I have ever visited. The flavors taste fresh and natural, and the large variety of toppings make this a must visit shop. Probably the best chocolate yogurt I have ever sampled, but I have tried over time everything that Tango had available, and the flavors were all excellent. You can have a very healthful treat, or indulge to your hearts content with a really good hot fudge topping.
Their seasonal specialty flavors are worth a visit in their own right.
The store is always clean, with a fresh look inside and out. The outdoor seating is comfortable and convenient, with benches, tables, chairs, and inviting landscaping. The décor is very nice inside, with seating both in the main serving area and a loft upstairs. I’ve always found the service staff very pleasant and helpful.
I visit Auburn frequently to hike the trails in the American River canyon off of Hwy 49. Whether it is a hot summer day, or in the middle of the cold, wet winter, I always feel the need to stop here for a break before heading home. It’s also a great place to cool off during the Friday night car shows in downtown Auburn, a nice change from the heat of the evening.

I recently spent a weekend in Auburn and fell in love with this frozen yogurt shop– the California tart flavor in particular! It’s a friendly, spotless, and tasty spot with a nice array of toppings. Worth a nightly stop if you’re visiting the town– if I was a local I’d be there every day! They also have outdoor seating around a firepit at night– nice atmosphere.
