We purchased out Tuff Shed from here and we could not be happier. Our Tuff Shed is an awesome addition to our property and is the highest quality. The salesperson was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely do business here again in the future.

Deceptive misleading and intimidating are just a few words that describe the most horrific experience my family has ever experience. Tuff Shed has delivered heartbreak and despair coupled with extra cost and extra construction time. Our new Tuff Shed will be a brand new remodeled building remodeled and repaired.
Mom and Dad’s dream, a two story barn style building with dads workshop, baby sisters hobby room and Mom’s sewing room. A once in a lifetime remodel and addition to the family home which was built in 1948 and the home of my great grandparents. With mom already retired and dad almost ready for retirement my parents we’re ready to build their dream. They were very impressed by the Tuff Shed advertising. The promise of A top quality building, rapid construction time and low cost compared to standard on site building construction was very appealing to my parents and the salesman was on the ball whipped up A contract with all of mom and dads upgrades extra costs and a long list of things they had to do. Calculating how much the structure would cost and collecting the deposit is the only rapid qualities my family would ever experience working with Tuff Shed.
Prefabricated components of the building arrived onsite backwards many weeks late, it was a surprise when they showed up with a crane and trusses because there were no walls on site much less Standing walls ready to receive trusses. The whole family was so excited to finally see Tuff Shed delivering our building no one really paid attention to the fact that the trusses were dumped on the dirt 200 feet down the hill from the Foundation which we fabricated and poured our selves. Mom was so happy talking non stop about all the great and grand ideas for fixtures and finishes and dad talking of the set up and details of his new workshop. As promised it took just a few days for the 7 men sent out to erect our structure to say okay we’re finished and drive away.
First thing we noticed was the roof wasn’t finished and we were still missing the garage door. These two items were handled by two different men who arrived at two different times. During erection of the prefab building components we noticed the building was not matching with the construction drawings and engineering. The Engineering and construction drawings and details were provided by Tuff Shed themselves. The field crew we’re all big and strong very impressive men but when we brought to their attention our concerns with our buildings construction the field superintendent simply said we can only install what they give us you need to call Tuff Shed it took a few weeks but finally three men from the warranty and service department came out and walked through the building.
After showng them the structural deficiencies, various framing assemblies which do not match the approved plans, which they provided! Oh yeah, the trusses are not the trusses Tuff Shed sold us the trusses do not match the truss design and calculations Tuff Shed provided to the building department for our permit. The building is leaning almost two inches to one side, the subfloor is installed with 3 inches of second story floor joists not covered with plywood. The subfloor perimeter has no blocking to support the plywood edge between floor joist and the plywood subfloor is not glued or screwed in fact it’s not even nailed they Only tact the sheets in place. The craziest thing occurred after showing the three men from Warranty and service all the nailing deficiencies, framing assemblies which do not match plans the improper nailing and placement of shear wall plywood, missing blocking, backing and trims and I showed that the building is not plumb or level and the building is one foot nine and a half inches shorter than the plans show. At this point one of the three men spoke up and said who says this ain’t right and said we need the inspector to tell us this ain’t right I told him even my mom can see that this ain’t right and she’s no builder.
I look the man in the eye and I said you do not call the inspector out to look at work you know is bad to that the Tuff Shed representative replied that’s our policy. I protested and told them do not call the inspector to look at work that is no good but Tuff Shed went and took it upon themselves to call in an inspection a final no less and then they didn’t even come out to meet with the inspector. The quality of construction is below industry standards, the framing, ceiling height, roof pitch and much much more are wrong and do not matching Tuff Sheds own plans and design.
The emotional devastation and financial burden Tuff Shed has caused our family is beyond any worst case scenario imaginable most definitely cannot recommend Tuff Shed
