History

Established in 2001.

Our doors have been open since September 2001. We are located a block north of the new Auburn Police Station; across the street from the back side of Bank of America near Auburn Way and Main Street. Auburn is located in the beautiful White River Valley of the great northwest. It’s a wonderful place to shop and dine with the ambiance of small town America. Auburn was originally called «Slaughter», after Lt. William A. Slaughter. Residents didn’t like the negative connotations of this name, so in 1893 it was renamed after Auburn, New York.

Betsy C.

Business Owner

Betsy is the owner/​operator of Vintage Antiques & Custom Framing. Her appreciation of antiques and art comes from her mother, who is a locally renowned artist from the Black Hills of South Dakota. Her entrepreneurship comes from her father who was an Air Force pilot and then upon retiring from the military bought and ran his own successful aviation business. She graduated from college with a degree in accounting which has been beneficial in the running of her own small business. She enjoys the hands on aspect of her work and takes special care in each and every frame job she creates.
