We showed up at 1:17am, right after we were done with the night but we were hungry so my husband and i wanted to go to Wendy ‘s. We arrived with the intention of buying food but no one was answering the intercoms. We saw the employees inside and the menu side outside was on but no one heard or acknowledged us. So we left and went to jack in the box. At least they were nice enough to take our orders.

The credit card machine at the local KFC was broken, so here I am for a fast food lunch. They have unique alternatives to a hamburger here, so this time I’m trying the pulled pork sandwich in the hopes that there’s enough pork in it to fill me up. They offer 3 types of BBQ sauces on it, sweet, smoky, or spicy. I chose SPICY! The heat comes after the sweet taste, which wasn’t what I was hoping for. It was decent for a fast food sauce, but I could have found an equivalent at the local supermarket. When a sweet sauce is offered, I wouldn’t expect the spicy offering to lead with a sweet flavor. They should consider not making the spicy sauce sweet. The sandwich comes topped with slaw, in the KC fashion. Being from Texas, I’m not a fan, but I ordered the sandwich as is anyway so I could get the intended experience. The negative experience with this one is clearly my fault because I could have left the slaw off of the sandwich The real problem is the portion. A big guy like myself can’t get adequately full on this combo meal, so now I have to search out dessert options so I will remain satisfied until dinner time. And the price of my meal was at the top of my fast food budget, so I can’t help but feel I’ve been ripped off. The flavors are decent considering it’s fast food fare. So, if you’re a waif, and you were brought up north of the red river, I highly recommend it. As for me and my large appetite and my native Texas taste buds, I’ll have to pass on this one next time and order something else.

Two stars because my cold limp fries came out really fast. The nuggets were also cold

The ONLY reason I gave 2 stars was because my Baconator with a brioche bun was fantastic. I originally asked for just the sandwich but when YUDITH offered to make it a combo, my urge gave in and I said«okay, medium please, with a strawberry lemonade». What happened next almost made me pull out of the drive thru without my food. She actually made the«ugggghhh» sound of exasperation and then«okay give me a minute». Are you kidding me? Who the heck is running this place? I’ve been a GM before and I wouldn’t even consider keeping an employee like her on my staff. CUSTOMERS are why you have a job. Granted there are days when things just don’t go well or whatever, but you’re in a customer SERVICE position. If you don’t want the job, there are other people who do. If the owners of this establishment are looking for a new GM or Assistant GM, let me know.

The food is okay here — my nephew wanted to try the pretzel bacon burger and he liked it. I had a value menu cheeseburger and it was not bad — but they put sweet pickle slices on them — which is not common. The medium drinks are the size of a super large from anywhere else. But the inside of the restauant is dirty. The restrooms are unisex and are smelly and dirty. Really awful. Also, there doesn’t seem to be air-conditioning in the inside of the restaurant.

Ordering at Wendy’s is confusing. You put mayo on a burger? Yuck my son said. The chicken. Ufg gets were better than McDs. They have a crispy chicken sandwich, cheap bun, mayo lettuce and giant chicken nugget for a dollar. I had the cod filet sandwich. It was good. The fish had a light crispy coating, not greasy at all. Not enough tarter, and the skimpy leaf lettuce was pathetic. I ended up just eating the fish and only the top half of the bun with the tarter on it. Older son had cod sandwich plain and added cheese. We were both happy. Hubby had«son of a bacon», which is a double bacon cheeseburger with meat like you get on a Big Mac. He liked it. The frosties we had were chocolate and super thick and cold, no straw! You had to use a spoon! Yum! Unfortunately the fries were sad. New mixed with old, NOTOK. Some of the fries were so old we couldn’t even break them. I got them for the baby to have and only found 5 soft enough for him. We should have walked out after we saw the bathrooms. Disgusting! Usually we leave when restaurant bathrooms are dirty… We won’t make that mistake again. Later both my tummy and the baby’s hurt. Not sure what the culprit was, but I was up all night with him.

Bad management! Mr. Wendy’s, you need to get a new manager! Instead of sincerely listening to customer complaints and understanding that on more than 1 occasion I have returned back to work without the sauces I asked for she pursues argumentation. No kindness at all. Rude and annoyed tone in her voice. Encouraged me to call and complain about her. All I wanted was an apology, and to pay more attention to orders being incomplete when given to the customer. You are not the only fast food restaurant in this area and I don’t mind going elsewhere. I wasn’t looking for anything free but I was treated like I was a bum begging for food. Actually they are treated kinder then I was. I called corporate but no longer happy with just an apology. This manager needs to be removed from her position of authority and customer service which she fails badly at. Anyone else want to take their comment further here’s the number +1(888) 624‑8140

For fast food this was not fast, I ordered the berry almond salad half size. When it first came out there was barely any chicken and the chicken was old and cold. We asked for some fresher chicken and the cashier agreed. I thought they would just bring out some new chicken to add to the salad but they brought out a whole new salad which was really nice, that is the only reason I was able to bump this up to 2 stars.

For a fast food joint I’m impressed. I often go through drive thru and the food almost. always the food is fast and fresh. I don’t know how they do it. Other people must feel the same way because there is often 4 cars deep in drive thru while the Jack in the box next door is dead. The only negative I can say about this place is the different«teams». Not sure what shift it is but this one time there was mexicans and young kids working. The food was poor and slow. Not the norm though. Usually they have a assistant manager working drive thru and older people working the grill that when the food comes out fast and fresh. Enjoy!

Arrrrrrrgh, me ship just landed, with me stomach was bark’n, «Avast! Feed me!» I had been hanker’n for a HOTJUICYBURGER for weeks while at sea and then suddenly through the mists and shadows, me eyes laid sights on that wonderful temptress with flame red hair, shiver me timbers she was a sight for sore eyes… Sadly the scurvey sea dog behind the counter had me singing a sea chantey,(Oooohhhh, HJB, jump in me stomach, I sing this song whilst I wait in line…). The old salt at the register barked her commands to the worthless shark bait behind the grill,(Ohhhh, HJB jump in me…). And we waited and waited, I felt like we were marooned on a deserted island for weeks! The cookie should have been swabbing the decks instead of being in charge of the fire box, blast ye to bits for make’n me wait! Arrrrrgh…
