Spectrum Resources has on staff trained and certified FICO Pro, FCRA Specialist, Credit Counselors and Credit Report Auditors, and offers Credit Expert Witness Services.

Since 2002, Spectrum Resources mission is to provide education and resources to those who seek financial self sufficiency.

We help people maximize what ever assets they have to meet their goals. We help individuals structure a plan to get out of debt, and provide a support system embedded with ongoing education.

We provide community outreach programs to employers with specialized classes, workshops and seminars.

Spectrum Resources is both federal and FL. state C.R.O.A. compliant collecting money only on completion of services per the law,

and a member of N.A.R.C.R.A. to build professionalism.

History

Established in 2002.

Since July 2002, Spectrum Resource & Development Center, Inc. (SRDC) has progressed in a timely manner from furnishing home ownership counseling to now the much needed specialized education and counseling in credit and credit scoring.

SRDC has served almost exclusively since 2002 the entire county of Polk, the 2^nd largest county in the state, located in Central Florida where there has not been any other consumer counseling agency available to the general public specializing in credit education.

Just as time and the economy evolved, SRDC has evolved through current trainings, maintained skills and expertise in credit and credit scoring to provide the professionalism needed to make a positive difference in those served.

SRDC has set a standard of excellence in providing financial education to consumers through community events, schools, churches and public speaking presentations. A specialized school is now the next project offering ongoing classes in personal money manageme

Janet F.

Manager

No one owns a not-​for-​profit organization, it is run by an Executive Board. Janet Folkerts was designated by the Executive Board as the Executive Director in 2002 and remains so to this day.

With vision and foresight, the highly trained and skilled Ms. Folkerts who is a published author, speaker, mentor, and teacher is dedicated to the mission of Spectrum Resource & evelopment Center, Inc. a/​k/​a Spectrum Resources and thrives on the challenges it offers.

Janet Folkerts is a mother of 3 children, with grandchildren and great grandchildren who writes poetry and looks forward to a time when painting is back on the schedule. International travel is a top priority on the ‘Bucket List’ but for now, serving the needs of others is consumng most days.
