Simply put, a 3 star hotel with 5 star staff. First of all the hotel, pretty run of the mill super 8 type of a hotel. It has a pool, and a continental breakfast, but nothing to get to excited about. The price was right(60 $) but being one of the cheaper hotels in the area we weren’t expecting anything too nice. Now as far as the staff goes. We’re from out of town, with the need to stay within Augusta for a couple of days. Not 5 minutes in the hotel we were very impressed with Miss Evelyn(as she introduced herself). We received a call in both rooms we rented asking if everything was ok, and that type of attention was the norm throughout our stay. We have children, and every time we came through the lobby Miss Evelyn took the time too speak to our 5 year old. My daughter got so attached from the attention, that she drew her a drawing(her idea) and asked to bring it down stairs too«her new friend». Next time we need a hotel in Augusta, we will most likely stay here again on the off chance that miss Evelyn still works there.
