Augusta Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. (AOPI) was formed in 1999 to re-​establish patient care in the field of O&P on the local level. Roy R. Rice, III began working with Atlanta Prosthetics until after 15 years the company was sold to a nationally owned company. Rice saw this as an opportunity and decided to leave the corporate hassle and form AOPI, which strives on quality patient care and personal attention that all people deserve which eliminated the demands of the corporate atmosphere.

Established in 1999.

Augusta Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. (AOPI) was formed in 1999 to re-​establish patient care in the field of O&P on the local level. Our on site lab is fully equipped for all types of orthotic and prosthetic fabrication and repair.

A third generation prosthetist Roy R. Rice, III continued the craft when in he began working with Atlanta Prosthetics until after 15 years the company was sold to a nationally owned company. Rice saw this as an opportunity and decided to leave the corporate hassle and form AOPI, which strives on quality patient care and personal attention that all people deserve which eliminated the demands of the corporate atmosphere.

Our staff includes two ABC Certified Prosthetist, with a combined experience of over 50 years. As well as two ABC Certified Orthotist, with combined experience of over 40 years.
