Surrey Tavern is my favorite place in Augusta! It has been reminded and looks great! It’s such a relaxed, comfortable place to be to hear live music and hang with friends. There’s usually a cover charge on the weekends, but it’s worth it, especially since the drink prices are so low.

House band used to be The PlayBack Band Featuring TuTu De’Vyne! I was a regular all through Dental School. BEST PLACE TO DANCE IN AUGUSTA! PlayBack «The Band» is arguably Augusta, Ga’s most popular dance band. Steeped in the music of fellow Augustan, the late, great James Brown, PlayBack is currently celebrating its 23rd year in existence — since October 1991. Check for dates that they are playing and don’t miss them!
