The billing department for this company, is disorganized and harassing. I have updated my auto withdrawal numerous times, only to be harassed further. I would not recommend this facility. It is overpriced and arrogant.

Before joining this gym, I was a member of 24 hour fitness for nearly 9 years. What an upgrade! As a student, I pay an amazing price to use this fabulous, clean gym, take fitness classes, and use an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, etc. The locker rooms are well stocked with most amenities you will need, including hair spray, shampoo/conditioner and an endless supply of crisp white towels(often warm). I use the cardio equipment and weights, but I spend a majority of time taking one of their many fitness classes. On top of that, there is no «meat market» vibe I get from here that I used to get at 24 hour fitness. Also, even at the busiest times during the busiest seasons, I have always been able to get to the equipment I want or take the classes I’d like to take(unlike my previous gym). If you are a student(or non-student with the financial means to join at the full price), I highly recommend this gym!

I work on campus as staff and hear nothing good at all about this gym. I’ve heard people say it is run by health nazis, it is a little piece of LA dropped here in Denver(they have botox available), that it is very expensive compared to comperable gyms in town,(if you can get a price out of them, it’s very secretive) and that they make it almost impossible to discontinue your membership. Let’s face it, if they wanted students and staff here to be healthy they wouldn’t price their facility so only MDs could afford it. These reasons are probably why when I drive by it everyday I see no one in there. Oh, and they have a fancy Bistro Café where you can get a sprig of arugula and a flake of salmon for $ 14. My doctor said she had to eat a second lunch after eating lunch there. Too bad they can not cater to the common folk and have to be so pretentious.

Being a student on the Anschutz campus, this is my gym. Membership is pretty pricey for most, but a super great deal if you’re a student($ 30/month!) I’ve always been a runner, but during the winter months I hold my membership so that I can use their indoor track and cardio-boosting classes. They have the largest variety of group fitness classes of any gym I have ever seen, and they all come included in the membership. There is also a pool and hot tubs in the basement. After a hard workout lifting weights, I usually recover in the steam room. They also have plenty of showers and offer complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and towels. They have hairspray by their large vanity mirrors if you forget yours!

Nice gym but unfortunately terrible experience with customer service and membership here. I wish I could recommend it for all their services but I don’t recommend signing up because they will make it very hard to ever leave and then treat you like crap. Lots of hidden fees and headache to just end a membership. So much that you will end up saving a lot of money if you go somewhere else and pay 80 $ a month instead of 60 that they charge here. In the end, you will pay less at a more expensive gym at a more convenient location.

I had a really negative experience here when I tried to cancel my membership. There are a bunch of rules and caveats that undermine the whole«no contract membership» offer they promote, so when it came time to cancel, they(particularly the business manager) were rude and wouldn’t budge. The additional 80 bucks he squeezed out of me for a membership I could no longer use bought them this lousy review. I hope it was worth every penny.

Pretty great gym. Has all of the equipment I could ask for and is hardly overcrowded. I can imagine that it may get pretty pricey for those who are non-students/faculty; however, it’s certainly worth the $ 35/month for me. My favorite aspect of this gym is how comprehensive the locker room is. There is a steam room, hot tub, and sauna. Also, there are plenty of showers, towels and even deodorant for after. This makes it super convenient to grab a mid-day workout and get on with your day. Also, the indoor track is AWESOME on those chilly winter days.

I’m a student on the med campus so membership is comparable to most gyms. I’m guessing it is a little more pricey for people unaffiliated with the campus. This place has just about anything you can think of: free weights, machines, treadmills, a ‘rage cage’ for crossfit, etc… There is also 5 flights of stairs which provide a great cardio workout if that’s what you’re in to. Also offered are a numerous amount of classes like yoga, barre, cycling, water aerobics, and many more. Just grab a monthly schedule from the front desk and you’ll be set. The locker rooms are great as well, including plenty of showers, a sauna, and steam room. Walk out into the pool area to find a hot tub as well. These accommodations make it great to grab a quick workout in the middle of the day. Now for a couple things I personally don’t like about this place: it is much more of a fitness center than it is a gym, so for the guys looking to do a bunch of heavy sets on bench press, cleans, and other free weight exercises, I would join elsewhere. They seem to get upset if you drop the weights(they’re meant for that which is why they are rubberized), as the majority of people are there to use the treadmills and attend classes. With all of that said, the staff here is really nice and the gym is clean and well-kept. It only gets 4 stars from me simply because it’s not my type of gym, but don’t get me wrong, the equipment is plentiful and state of the art.

If you’re changing your eating habits up or starting a new workout, it helps to have a starting point to measure your results against your goal. They have two body comp tools to help. The BODPOD(I’ll upload a pic of the machine in a bit) gives a nice general view. Maybe next time, I’ll try the DEXA… it apparently gives a shaded print-out telling me the body comp in individual areas of my body. Kinda scary to see, but it’ll be a useful tool as I progress to GOAL. Oh, they also have dietitians and trainers to help ensure I stay on the right path. Not just certified, but academically trained and with hands-on experience in these areas of wellness.

It’s a ok gym. All depends on what you want from the gym. If you want to just run on treadmill like 85% of people here do then it’s great. If you want more of a free weight experience it’s so so. Big gym but only one squat rack, bench press on the first floor. They do have a secondary squat rack upstairs, to be fair. it’s a good indication of how upscale the gym is is to look at the towels provided. Their towels are pretty rough(old). All in all, it’s a very convenient gym if you work on campus and the price is pretty cheap.

As Selena Gomez would say: «I la love you like a love song baby!» This gym has everything I need + more. No joke, this gym really impressed me and has really whipped me into shape(4 months, –13lbs). I have never been to a more high tech gym and have never had more welcoming, personable and friendly service from gym employees before. PLUS it is absolutely affordable and is even cheaper than subpar gyms I was a member of back in California. When you first join they have a fitness assessment that they give you the option of taking. It involves taking a computer survey about your confidence levels, sleep activity, exercise activity, etc. After taking that exam you have a physical exam where they measure your flexibility, body fat ratio, blood, heart rate, etc. After the assessment they give you a pamphlet of your results and tell you where you stand in terms of your fitness, your proximity to your goals, your stress and happiness levels and so forth. And this was all FOFWEEEE(for free). There’s a 2nd floor indoor track, a basement indoor pool and jacuzzi, a basement men and women’s locker room with saunas, showers with soap, lotion and condition, hair blowers, etc. You also get this USB looking piece of plastic that allows you to input your workout plan or goals and counts your reps on the weight lifting machines. You can plug it into a kiosk that shows you your goals and it allows for you to edit and add to it. There’s a Cage workout area upstairs with additional tread mills, cross fit type equipment, kettle bells, shoulder press, bench, etc. There also have a variety of group exercise classes. I love going to the group exercise classes. I’ve tried: 1. Barre– an exercise class that involves using the ballet barre and entails doing a lot of squats 2. Pound– a new class where you use drumsticks and(again) do a lot of squats. You hit the floor with the sticks to the beat of music 3. strength endurance– bootcamp like class that involves running up several flights of stairs, lifting weights and doing plyometrics 4. bootcamp class — similar to number 3 5. yoga sculpt– yoga with weights 6. pilates 7. yoga meditation — relax yo mind relax yo bod 8. Tabata– similar to doing insanity(30 min class) 9. water aerobics(grant it I am usually the youngest person that attends this class but the water is very soothing). You need to sign up within 24 hours ahead of time for Barre and Pound. Other classes they offer that I haven’t attended are cycling & hip hop dance. They also have member appreciation days where they provide you with free food. We had an outdoor one with hamburgers and chips and an indoor one in their demo kitchen with healthy pancakes made with PB2 peanut butter powder(they sell that there at the gym and it’s also found in Walmarts, etc.). There is also a King Soopers quick-mart and a bistro indoors called Elaia(that I haven’t tried). They also have massage services that are sometimes given away as a prize in a raffle if you keep a frequent cardio gym class goer card and go to 10 cardio classes in 1 month. The cons: There’s no indoor rock climbing wall, racquet ball room or basketball court. Also they are filming ABC’s Extreme Weight Loss TV show here so sometimes you’ll see show personnel or contestants. They also have cooking classes in the evening once a week.
