Anytime Fitness Aurora

It’s convenient and clean. I’m not worried about a person being on staff like the 1-​star review. There’s a fair amount of people who go here but not too many. I usually go on off hours and have no issues going through my rotation with no interruptions.

The BEST Anytime! I consistently rotate between this location, Geneva, and DeKalb and this one blows the others out of the water! It isn’t huge but because it’s so new everything is well-​kept and clean. They have an abundance of amenities like clean towels, hair dryers, shampoo, and hand sanitizer. There is only one tanning bed that is equivalent to a Level 1 if you went to a tanning salon so you’re allowed to tan for up to 15 minutes.
They have a sufficient number of cardio machines, strength training machines, and free weights (even my large boyfriend agrees). They also have an area with kettlebells and mats and (my favorite) A TRX with 2 sets of straps! Love me some TRX!
Quite possibly the neatest feature is the studio where classes are held. There are typically 2 classes per weekday but when no class is being held you can use the touchscreen computer to select a class yourself. Then the projector drops from the ceiling and you can take the class by yourself or with friends. There is equipment in the studio and you can control the lights, volume, and fan.

This is one of the better anytime fitness. I have been to Yorkville and DeKalb locations and most likely will not go back even though they are closer. Clean towels available, clean and large shower rooms, great temperature, designated stretching area, and a variety of cardiovascular machines. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very impressed by this location.

I love this place. It is located in a strip mall along Eola Road.
They have plenty of cardiovascular machines, a Smith machine, a squat rack (only one with one barbell; I’ve only had to wait to use it a few times… Would like to see more as time moves along), plenty of weight machines, kettlebells, dumbbells (up to 100 lbs.), and a studio for classes.
It is definitely a step above a planet fitness type place. It’s not Lifetime, though. It’s not barebones but it’s not a full functional workout center, either (lacks locker rooms, a pool, heavy kettlebells, etc.)
I really enjoy working out here. I haven’t encountered anyone I can’t stand, which is great, too. Staff is there during normal business hours most of the time (see their door for details; something they aren’t there during said times, though).

This gym is brand new, very clean and has the best members. They have had some change over in managers but the owners are consistently there and super friendly. I love all the weight equipment there and they have virtual classes which is awesome so no matter when I go I can take a Step or Zumba class.

Even though their hours say somebody will be there until 7:00 pm on weekends and 1:00 pm on Saturday. Nobody seems to be in the office/​gym after 6:00 pm on weekday or noon on Saturday. Also nobody picks the phone anytime you call you hit voice mail, they can’t possibly be always helping some customer. Makes one wonder how their post membership service would be. Was excited to see a new neighborhood gym but totally disappointed at the service.
