History

Established in 2008.

This location of Aurora Dentrix was established as an expansion of two other Aurora locations. The other locations have been in practice for over thirty years.

Business Owner

Dr. Kishore Belani, D.D.S, F.A.G.D.

Graduated from University of Bombay in 1971. After that, he went on for graduate training in Periodontics at Nair Hospital Dental College. He received his fellowship from Academy of General Dentistry in 1990.

Dr. Reed Layne, D.D.S.

Graduated Magna Cum Laude as a biology major from West Viginia University. He then attended West Virginia University School of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Sugery in 2008.

Dr. Inshu Khare, D.D.S.

Graduated the University of Illinois at Chicago where she completed her Biology and Psychology majors. She then went on to achieve her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2011 with the direct dental program (GPPA).

Dr. Karan Bhagchandani, D.D.S.

Graduated from Northern Illinois University with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University in 2013.

Awful receptionists who incorrectly scheduled my appointment to 10:00 when I told them 10:30, so I could not get in when I showed up at my 10:30 scheduled time and had to reschedule. By looking at reviews I am not the first person to have a problem with their receptionists. You would think they would take a little responsibility for their mistakes instead of making the customer feel bad about it.

Dr. Layne is amazing. I was told by another dentist that I needed 4 crowns. Dr. Layne told me I only needed one replaced! He completely puts you at ease. Dr. Layne takes his time and explains everything he is doing. He is also very particular and most importantly sooooo gentle and kind. I would highly recommend Dr. Layne.

CHECK YOUR BILL. The receptionists, especially on the weekend, seem quite clueless. They incorrectly billed me. The atmosphere is cold and uninviting. Patients are treated like cattle, herded in, herded out. They use completely inexperienced assistants, shout orders and then leave the assistant with a look of sheer panic on their face, since they have no idea what they are doing. Not very comforting.

Over the years, I’ve moved around a lot, and subsequently, I’ve seen a number of different dentists. As someone who is not fond of visiting the dentist, I have to say that my experience at Aurora Dentrix was a pleasant surprise. I felt completely at ease in Dr. Layne’s care. He was very upfront and honest with me regarding the work I needed to have done. He also took his time while working on me and was very gentle, constantly checking in with me to see if I was experiencing any pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Layne to anyone and everyone I know.

Before coming here, I dreaded going to the dentist. 3 years ago Dr. Layne turned that right around. No sitting in a waiting room for an hour, no pushing cosmetic dentistry you don’t need, no over-​priced cleanings. Dr. Layne was attentive and efficient however, providing sound advice and top-​notch technology. For instance, since I have sensitive gums, the doc recommended an ultra-​sonic cleaning procedure which apparently uses sound waves to clean your teeth. Sounds fancy, but really just cleans your teeth without all the scraping and irritation, and in half the time. Since the first visit I have benefited from long term dental solutions, as well as regular cleanings, and it’s actually enjoyable. I stick to the obligatory twice-​a-​year visits now and even floss! Never thought I would say that.

A friend recommended Aurora Dentrix to me and like some people, Im not a big fan of visiting the dentists. But she and her family have had great success here so I decided to make an appointment. I visited on a busy Saturday, and despite the busy waiting room, the receptionist acknowledged me immediately and the dental assistant took care of my right on time. Dr Reed Layne was also a pleasure. He was friendly and conversational and though I have sensitive teeth, he treated me with care and the visit was painless! Dr Layne explained what he was doing the entire time and really made me feel at ease. I’m so happy I found Dr Reed Layne and Aurora Dentrix!
