B&B Optical Frame Fixer

Jennifer is about as sweet a lady as one can find and spends the necessary time to get things right. This store features lots of closeout frames – great prices if you don’t need the latest styles (who really does?!?).
My Kawasaki frames are a royal pain but, when they need adjustment, no problem, just ‘come on down!’ My new lenses cost about half what the boutique shops charge. What’s not to like?

I had a problem with the hinge on my glasses. I thought perhaps the screw had broken off. I went to Peepers Optical and they couldn’t fix it but recommended B&B. It took some time to get over there as they’re on the other side of town but I walked in last week and asked the man (Owner? Sorry to say I didn’t get his name.) behind the counter if he could help. He examined the frames then told me that screw wasn’t broken, it was stripped. Long story, short, he was able to provide at least a temporary fix until I was able to leave the frames for a couple of days. I asked what I owed him and he charged me nothing for this visit even though he spent at least 15 minutes on providing a solution. This review is my way of saying, thanks!
By the way, as far as I could tell from my research B&B is the only shop in the Denver metro area that fixes frames when other Opticians can’t. There are some online services that you mail your frames to but this isn’t a good option for me as I have no replacement pair. From my own experience I highly recommend B&B. I only wish they were closer to where I live.

Yesterday morning my eye glasses broke in half. I was forced to wear some old contacts to make it through work but not a good solution. After visiting my optometrist I had a new pair ordered but would have to wait almost 10 days for them. Changing the lenses from the old frame was no problem but finding a temporary frame to put them in was. Received a referral to B & B who came highly recommended. Note: If you have steel frames they can repair or replace frame in minutes, if your frame is titanium it will be over a week to repair. My frames tested titanium so my only option was a new frame of which they had two to select from! It took minutes to replace and now have a backup pair for when the new frames come in. Service was fast, friendly & professional. Google maps place them in the same shopping center as 7 – 11. If you’re going there you want the Iliff Center on the opposit side of the street from the 7 – 11. They are located 3 doors down from Subway.
