Strange, strange place run by Egyptians of all people. After seeing a sign behind the register for Halal options I played guess the ethnicity and got through Jordanian, Palestinian, and Assyrian before the guy just told me. I work close by and tire of the same, usually corporate, food options that are within a 35 minute break window. Venturing south on 31 I find this what could be a Greek burger joint. First visit I had an Italian sausage with fries to go. $ 4 only. Really good deal and an aberration relative to the rest of the menu where little is less than $ 6 or $ 7. The sausage was greasy good and the fries are steak type and decent. They don’t seem to salt their fries so grab some. Second visit I had a double cheeseburger from their small(maybe 6 – 7 offerings?) combo meals menu. This was $ 6. Again a good deal. The burger meat was pretty mushy but was satisfying in that McD’s-y nondescript greasy food sort of way. They don’t ask you what you want on it so if you want to specify, better pipe up or it’s the works. The menu is WAY too extensive. It’s all over the place with upwards of 80 items. No fountain drinks, just cans and bottles. Food is so-so. Goofy Middle Eastern«music» and videos are wailing too loudly from a TV. The interior is large and disheveled. Service isn’t particularly friendly. It’s okay if you’ve had too much of the surrounding corporate options but remains a once in awhile type place for me.

Maybe I should have tried a different menu item but I was feeling nachos tonight. I ordered the small beef nacho and it was horrible. They use circle corn chips almost similar to the ones that the movie theatre serves. The nacho cheese didn’t have flavor– which is strange because all that’s required is a cheesie flavor. The ground beef didn’t have any salt or pepper added– just plain unseasoned beef. The nachos also came with onions, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream. The cost was a few coins less than $ 5 which wasn’t bad. The restaurant was pretty clean and the staff was very friendly. I have to give this menu item two stars because it satisfied my eyes; just not my belly. I will try a different menu item the next time I decide to visit.

Food is ok. At times the orders take a fair amount of time to come out of the kitchen. The lemonade is not worth the price seeing that 99 percent of the glass is filled with crush ice. Music is way too loud and very annoying hip hop junk. If you do go I suggest the gyro plate — lots of everthing and a good price. The Philly steak sandwich is good and if you are REALLY hungry get the double meat crispy gym shoe. Oh and everything comes with fries.

Food is ok– typical order out junk food joint. Most of us who ordered thought the food was just«ok» and we will prob order again but only in a pinch. My biggest turn off was the chicken gyros which turned out to be chopped up bland chicken breast on a pita after I specifically asked if it came off a spit or shaved. Pricing was pretty decent for portion sizes.

I’ve been there 3 times total, don’t think I’ll go again. Food is decent, nothing special. The first time was soon after they opened and the whole experience was decent, but again, nothing special. Second time I placed the order 30 minutes ahead of time and had to wait in a long line(even though there is a sign saying you don’t have to wait, but there is only one person on register, how do you not wait?) and when I finally got to the register they hadn’t even started my food, so I had to wait. Third time I placed the order ahead of time again, and the place was empty when I got there. As I got up the to the register the cashier got a call on his cell phone and WALKEDAWAY to take the call. So I had to wait about 5 – 6 minutes while the cashier walked around the back, talking in a language I couldn’t understand(don’t know what the call was about) before they finally came back and took my order, which again, was not done. Both the second and third time, the cashier seemed like they we’re annoyed that I was there to make an order, like I was interrupting their day. So average food, on top of horrible service, means this business won’t be seeing me again. Hire a nice, friendly cashier and maybe a second register for busy times, and you could get a 3, maybe 4 star review. I was disappointed, Aurora needs some more good, quick, local joints.
