Fabulous place, truly a gem of the most unusual kind. For any person who loves the world of books this one is a shot to the past. A place and time where people read books and those who sold them knew their craft and loved it. The lady who runs /owns the store clearly loves what she does and is very capable to offer a passionate advice about books & writers, both current and classics. Highly recommend!

The woman on the phone was so helpful when I was looking for a particular book. She didn’t have it, but gave me ideas where I could find it.

I live and breathe for this store when i come and visit my mom!!! They have a really great selection of poetry books(there’s this one particular beautiful antique Baudelaire book that will be mine). The books tell their stories, but so do this building’s walls. Although I don’t know if Woody Allen actually wrote out that response, it’s nice to just sort of look at the letters and be transported into a time when fan mail mattered. Also, not expensive at all!

WOW! I love bookstores, and my family fell in love with this place. We just happened to be passing Book Hunters on our way to another store. My husband and I have never found a used book store we didn’t like, so we stopped in! They were advertising«BUY4BOOKS, GETTHE5THBOOKFREE», and we definitely took advantage of that! We could have spent hours in there, but we had two kids with us, so we weren’t able to peruse at the speed we wanted. However, we did spend enough time in there for me to realize four very important things: 1) The woman who runs(owns) the shop is amazingly friendly 2) There is a very decent selection of books 3) The prices are very reasonable 4) I want to go back again and again With the creation of kindles and nooks, the used book store is a dying breed. I, personally, would prefer to have an actual book in my hands rather than a digital reader, but I can’t deny the convenience of such items :) The store is well-organized into sections, and their Fiction section is vast. I spent most of my time in that section while my kids happily perused the Kids room(which is super cute by the way!). They have a comic book section, a fantasy section, a religion section, etc. They had a lot of Young Adult novels as well! I can’t wait to come back and peruse at my own pace(not the pace set forth by my kids!!)
