Über inspection people told me I needed new breaks. The owner took his time to explain to me the price and what it included. I did not go price shopping but the price seemed reasonable. Also gave me a ride to go get some lunch. After driving for a while the car handles great. Since I have to get rear breaks done in near future, I will defiantly go back!

My wife went to Brakes Plus in Aurora. Colorado, on E. Iliff Ave. to have them look at
her brakes, because they were making noises while driving.
She was told she had to have new front brakes, rotors, and calipers. The price
was almost 300 Dollars.
When she told them she wanted to check other places, they were not happy,
and told her she could not find a cheaper price elsewhere.
She went to different a place the next day, and they put on new brakes, and told her she did not need new rotors, or calipers. It cost her about a third as much as Brakes Plus.
In the past, I have gone there, and they tried to repair my Blazer, with more than
I needed, to fix it.
Other people, have had similar complaints about this place.
This is not fair to the customer, who, if isn’t educated, can be taken advantage of.

I had an appointment at 9am for a brake inspection. There were only two other people getting work done on their cars. I just got home. It’s noon. The only things that kept me there were the fact that my car was on a lift and I kept thinking «surely it will only be five more minutes.»
That’s a ridiculous amount of time for something that really should have taken an hour, tops.
To be fair, the inspection itself only took about two hours. The rest of the time… I’m not totally sure what was going on but I know my car didn’t have the wheels on so I couldn’t just drive off. Maybe everyone went to an hour lunch at 11?
Absurd. I’ll just hunt for an independent shop in the area. I only went here because I don’t know any in the area.

Bought new tires for my SUV, so I took it in to have an alignment done just to be safe. My vehicle was handling fine prior to the alignment, didn’t pull, and my steering wheel was centered. After the alignment my rear end would skip around when hitting bumps, I had a slight pull to the right, and my steering wheel was off center to the left. I ended up taking it to the Nissan dealership 3-​weeks after my original alignment, and they found all 4-​wheels to be out of spec. n

If it wasn’t for Rick, I would be giving this place one star. Rick, however, made this place worth a stop for me. He was as kind and professional as could be. The rest of the staff was rude, short, and clearly could care less if I spent my couple hundred bucks there or elsewhere. Rick is great at his job, I just wish he worked somewhere where the staff was more on his level. Thanks for your work on my Scion!

Everyone here was very informative, and friendly. I didn’t feel like I was a target or looked down on for being female. No pushy sales tactics and service was fairly fast.
The cost is very competitive and I’ll be coming back for all of my car needs.

I had gone here to see what the damage was on my brakes. When they were done, they spat out an $ 800 quote at me. I almost lost it. I then went to my usual mechanic and he did the job for $ 190. They claim that i needed everything changed for my brakes; rotors, drums when in all reality, I only needed new cylinders and brake pads. Never coming back ever again.

I was impressed. They didn’t try to sell me up.
I went in to have front pads and rear shoes replaced.
They told me I didn’t need the rears done. Saving me $$$
The techs seem to know what there doing. Not a bunch of kids, with there pants hanging down low.
I would send friends and family ther.

Hey Brakes Plus! Remember that one time when I paid you to rotate my tires?! And then you did not do so and I had to bring my car back? Luckily some punks threw a singular egg at my car whilst I was away on holiday… said egg dripped down onto my front tire… which was in the same position after you «rotated» my tires.
Makes me wonder what else you didn’t do when I also got an alignment and oil change. :(.
