Cell Block

My first experience at Cell Block seemed positive enough – took my phone in, they fixed the screen, left with a functional phone and a nice new screen protector. However, within a couple of weeks the new screen began to pop out of my phone with frustrating regularity. It would not allow me to use the screen in its full capacity and would become did colored during calls. When the screen did finally come completely out of the phone, I went back to Cell Block where they informed me that it would cost me an additional $ 55 to fix the problem that they themselves had created. All in all, I’d warn against their services entirely.

After getting several quotes from different cell phone stores on flashing my phone for about 80 bucks I walked into here expecting the same. They informed me that not only does this phone not need to be flashed but you can just swap the sim card… free. The level of honesty and professionalism shown by the employees of this store should be a standard for the entire service industry. I will be going back for any problems in the future and would recommend them to all people in need of cell phone repair.

Great place. Friendly employees who fixed my cracked iPhone 6 screen in less than an hour. Staffers were exceptionally friendly, also, which I greatly appreciate. I would highly recommend this place. Stop walking around with that messed up phone. Let these nice guys make your day.

My husband and daughter brought my phone in for repair. They were quoted a certain price, the work was done in about an hour, as stated.
Upon returning, they were just finishing up on my phone.
They did more work than requested, but the price remained the same.
I am very satisfied with the workmanship. I will suggest them to ANYONE who needs work done.

Been coming here for a few months now and always appreciate the warm welcome. I’ve had 4 phones fixed here, an i-​pod that my kid decided to throw against the wall, and my wife’s computer. They have some pretty tech savvy people working there. Kudos to running a great business! It is a little out of my way to come here but when you find a good place it’s worth a drive. I’ve even had one of their techs come out to my office to fix a co-​workers phone over our lunch break. Keep up the good work guys!

Can’t (yet) vouch for the quality of their work, but these guys are honest. My trusty Galaxy S3 started having problems about a month ago. I’d hesitated upgrading because I’m grandfathered into Verizon’s unlimited data plan. The tech confirmed it was the power button, said he’d be happy to take my money, but if it were him, he’d buy a new phone. Told him I appreciated his honesty and that I’d be sure to post a positive review.

My screen was shattered Sunday evening and I brought it to them first thing Monday morning and was very pleased! Excellent customer service, very speedy and overall great experience.

Terrible experience… Arrogant, incompetent, and unapologetic.
The $ 35 job that should warn you not to take your electronics here for repair.
Called on he phone and ordered a new battery for my HTC (they took a deposit and ordered), one week later went in to the store and they had no record of the battery being ordered (even though my card was charged) they made an apology and ordered the battery. Received a phone call that the battery was in… dropped the phone off and returned 2.5 hrs. later, and they informed me they had the wrong battery… blamed on the supplier shipping the wrong battery, but probably they ordered the wrong battery (now I’m two weeks dealing with a failed battery). I ask for a refund of the deposit and the person at the counter (the owners son) is now copping a really bad attitude. He brings me my phone back from the back room and hands it to me, I ask «where the cover» he tells me «there was no cover on this phone when you dropped it off», I tell him «yes there was, you took it off right in front of me»… eventually he tracked it down, put it back on (one edge now will not snap shut), he says nothing, not «Gee, sorry about that, we’re super busy and I forget you did have a cover. my apology» NOTHING. Another guy comes out and starts apologizing and says «sorry, it’s the owners son…» but at this point it’s to late for me. The owners son is arrogant, treats his customers like «I’m doing you a huge favor», should probably be sweeping the place and taking out the trash, vs. dealing with the customers.

Great customer service, quality work, fast and always available. Oh, I cannot forget the competitive prices they have. Although I have to drive 20 miles to their store, I won’t go anywhere else.

Cell Block replaced my daughter’s iPhone 5 screen in less than 10 minutes just before they closed at 7 on a Friday night! Only $ 70 and they included a screen protector! Excellent job guys!

I just got my iPhone 5S screen fixed here at Cell Block. This is the 3^rd time I’ve broken my screen (which is a personal problem lol) but this is also the CHEAPEST I’ve paid and the SHORTEST time I’ve had to wait to have it repaired. Their customer service is excellent and they are always happy to help you out. And I can’t forget to mention that they are true professionals and my phone came out brand new. I would hate to break my screen again but wouldn’t mind coming back here for it either!

I called these guys, raced over, around 45 minutes later I’m good to go. Comfortable couch and wifi while you wait, by the way. Totally relaxed environment.
Oh, and my phone now has a hard plastic protection on the screen, completely free of charge. Nice!
Highly satisfied. Hopefully I won’t have the need to come back, but if I do, I will defs return.

Fast and curtious. Additional problems occurred after repair and they made it a priority to get it fixed correctly and in a timely manner. Great customer service!

I called this morning to get some info about my iPhone and the owner was very competent helping me understand how to operate my phone, he even invited me to one of his store to demonstrate everything himself! Great costumer service! Very knowledgeable! Definitely recommend this place to everyone!

We’re visiting from out of town– my phone wouldn’t hold a charge. The issue was diagnosed and taken care of so quickly! Removal of a huge ball of lint took care of the problem – at no charge! Fast and friendly. Thank you Cell Block!

Fast, inexpensive, and overall great customer service! Took care of my iPhone screen in just a few hours and at a better rate than the handful of other places I called who couldn’t even do it same day. They go above and beyond with customer care, they happened to have a coupon going on at the time and were nice enough to inform me about it then print it off for me before the repairs.

My Samsung Galaxy 4 Mini had a majorly cracked screen. I called around to several cell phone repair places and most quoted me over $ 150. Cell block charged me $ 100 and guaranteed faster completion date than other places. Apparently my phone is not that common so the screen replacement is harder to come by but Cell Block was very helpful and able to get it done. I will say they did take a bit more time than originally promised, but with everything said and done; I was very pleased with the work and everything looks and works great on my phone. I was a bit skeptical at first due to other reviews etc, but I would recommend this place.

I brought my iPhone 4S in for a repair over a month ago. They did not repair my phone, made matters worse by breaking it, and lack communication.
My phone did turn on and was functional when I brought it in for the repair.
They confirmed that they can fix my power button. The guy stated that it would be done in a day and they would call me.
I didn’t receive a call that day, but that was fine because I understand that things like this can take time. I call Cell Block the next day and am told that they did not have time to look at it but the technician will be in on Monday.
Over the time-​span of a month they repeatedly gave me the same excuses as to why my phone isn’t repaired yet. Common excuses were «the technician is not in today, technician comes in later today and will look at it, we will call you back today to update you, we sent it to another store to look at it»
Being patient, I gave them several days before I would call again to the check on any updates. I kept being told the same thing. I was finally told that my phone no longer turns on when I called. I explained my frustrations to them after being so patient for so long. They explained they needed more time and continued to tell me that they would call me back that day but never received their call.
I visited the store today to check on the status of my repair (34 days later) and was told by the owner that they would compensate me by giving me another iPhone 4S but at an uncertain date. After questioning the date, he has a change of heart and backs out on his own words. He gives me my phone back in worse condition (back cover is cracked, signs of it being dropped, does not turn on, screws are missing). He says, «Sorry about that» and intentionally ignores me while he speaks to other customers.
I’m reporting Cell Block to BBB and FTC. I’ll see you in small claims court Slava Sezanayev (owner).

This place is great they were very helpful and friendly provided fast service and had the parts on hand. phone works like new again!

Best in the business. They repaired my cracked iPhone screen in less then an hour! Fast friendly service, what else can you need in a cellphone store! Plus very resonable prices! Thank you guys once more!
