Good beer but the service isn’t great and there is no food.

Good selection of beers. Staff is generally always friendly. Firkin Friday always has a unique brew. Both outdoor and indoor seating. Busy Friday and weekends. Big John Sweet Tea Ale was the best a few years ago. Need to brew that year around.

Very tasty beer, live music (at least on the night I visited), friendly staff and a decent local crowd. Although the apricot themed beer is really good and very popular, just not my favorite (not really a fruit flavored beer drinker). Nevertheless, a solid, well-​respected brew pub in Aurora. (Note, no food on site other then complimentary popcorn but they are located near some take out restaurants). Cheers!

Aurora’s FIRST microbrewery and LOCALLY OWNED. I remember when Dry Dock brewery was just the beer brewers club and starting a «Microbrewery» was a distant dream. It has been amazing watching Dry Dock come into fruition as well as seeing Dry Dock in quite a few eateries throughout Denver.
They beers have been consistent and they have been yummily inventive with some of their flavors.
Their facility is family friendly (sometimes a little more kids and infant friendly than what I think is appropriate but that is only my opinion). And the staff is always friendly.

Late in the spring when the showers overtake Colorado there are few breweries as cozy as Dry Dock. Just a short drive off parker this brewery is easy to overlook buried in a nondescript strip mall. Should you make the journey you will be rewarded with a wonderful selection of tasty beers and an atmosphere that is light and inviting.
Upon entry you will see the bar where Dry Dock keeps an average of 12 to 14 beers on draft to choose from. This allows you to feel secure that you will find a beer to match the various tastes of your party. From there you may sit in the high stool benches at the bat and take in the sights or around the corner in Dry Dock’s spacious main sitting area.
Here you will find normal height tables as well as a shuffleboard table and a couch. You will also find the bar is attached to a homebrew store and a classroom so this is a wonderful opportunity to grab those hops and a tasty drink.
All told the real magic of this place is the beer. The Apricot Blonde is a tent pole of the brewery and they manage to deliver amazing beer season after season. I highly encourage everybody who loves beer to give this place a try and enjoy one of the more amazing colorado native breweries.
They are growler/​keg friendly.

We came on an early Thursday night and the place was already busy, but we still managed to find a place to sit. I was impressed with the customers who looked like professionals and were courteous of others around them. With so many choices, you can’t go wrong with the Apricot Blonde. Wait staff came around every about half an hour to check if we needed anything and pick up empty cups. It’s a great place to relax.

The Dry Dock, how do I love thee??? The brewery itself is well laid out, with a small patio for beautiful days. Inside is decorated in a nautical theme, but is more brewery, less yacht club.
The beer they create here is phenomenal, and the barley wine is one of my favorites. They have canned beer and growlers available if you want to take some for the road. There is no kitchen, but they have menus for delivery, and free popcorn.
They will keep the water flowing, and brew a root beer if you are into that kind of thing. The Dry Dock is also connected to the Brew Hut, for all your brewing needs.

Dry Dock could serve their Apricot Blonde out of a dirty hose in a back alley and I’d line up to drink it. Yes, it’s just that good.
The Denver metro area has more breweries than beards and man buns combined. So far I haven’t had a bad beer, but there are definitely standouts, including Dry Dock’s fruity ales. In addition to the Apricot Blonde, they offer an apricot sour which is almost as good as the OG.
The brewery’s tasting room is pretty basic, nothing too fancy. But when you make good beer, there’s no need for gimmicks like succulents growing out of the walls or reclaimed wood tables. They don’t even serve food, so if you want some grub to go with your suds, there’s a book of takeout menus available. Order and have it delivered right to you, pint in-​hand.
It must be noted that there’s a popcorn machine onsite. That’s a stomach ache waiting to happen in my mind. But that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t indulge. Some people (like me) can’t hold back when it comes to popcorn, but that’s a whole other story.
When you fall in love with a particular batch (’cause you will… trust me), there’s options to take home cans, bottles or growlers. Much better than drinking out of a hose, but like I said, it’s just that good either way.

Lively taproom with very attentive staff. Your beer won’t stay empty for long. Table service and a consistently delicious line up of beers. What more do you need? Hop Abomination IPA rules!

Dry Dock is pretty excellent I must admit. With a friend moving away for the summer, what better place to get a small group together and grab a couple flights/​beers and send her off. My take-​away warm and fuzzies:
+ Build your own flight! Such a cool concept to make sure all the beers are types you like.
+ Tons of seating so you can bring all your friends, family, and neighbors! They even have a few picnic tables outside if you want to soak up some sun and bring your pup. The tables in the barrel room are so cool! Make sure to check them out!
+ They offer Geeks Who Drink Trivia! From what I see it’s one night a month, but check their Facebook page for more details and dates.
+ Staff is friendly and attentive; especially if you’re at the bar.
+ This is one of few places that doesn’t frown on you bringing in your own food. Probably because they don’t serve any, but there are lots of options nearby. They do have popcorn if you’re feeling munchy, but don’t come starving.
+ Tons of great brews! Great flavors and creative names. Plus you can stop over at brew hut and pick up brewing supplies for a couple of their staple brews like the Apricot Blonde.
I could probably say more, but it’s all just words. Get your beer drinking friends together for a fun afternoon and some flights at Dry Dock! You wont be disappointed.

I love this place. They have great beer and I had a load of fun playing shuffle board. I hope to fly back sometime in the near future and visit this place again.

I LOVE DRY DOCK! Apricot blonde and the
Amber ale are my two favorites but I tried a porter last time and it was delicious. Service was quick and the lobby was very clean. Ample seating. I’m going to come here more often!

With 15 in house brew choices, Chas and I were very pleased to have our first brew here. No thrills, just chill correctly describes the atmosphere. Our bartender was knowledgeable and responsive.

A top 5 Brewery for everyone who likes good Beer. The difference of being the best 1 or top 5 for me is who I am with. Craft brew is something I really enjoy. I have traveled out of my way to buy there great beer” to go” and drink a couple pints just hanging out. If your in the area stop at Dry Dock. It will be worth your time… Cheers

The brewery has a really cool atmosphere with a couple TVs, nice wooden tables, and about 70 barrels of beer fermenting. Free popcorn too. The only beer I tried that I didn’t really care for was the Hefeweizen. My favorites were the Vanilla Porter and the Apricot Blonde.

Great local brewery! Beer is awesome, vibe is fantastic… and did I mention, you get free popcorn? ;0) There is a gyro place nearby, which you can bring in to complement your beers… it looked great from what I saw from the next table over, but I haven’t tried it.
Dry Dock is definitely a gem for us suburbanites (and anyone willing to leave LoDo)!

The original microbrewery in Aurora! Popular before the craft brew scene exploded. I’ve been coming to Dry Dock for years now, and I’m happy to see they haven’t lost their local vibe and special touch.
With a wide selection of beers on tap, there’s always something for everyone. Their signature is the Apricot Blonde.
Another big perk– free popcorn for guests!!! Helps to have a little snack while you sip.

No need to find a baby sitter to enjoy their beer now.

Dry Dock is pretty great. Their front runner of course is their Apricot Blonde, loved and adored by all as one of the best summer fruit beers. My favorite though is their Vanilla Porter. There are a lot of vanilla porters where the vanilla is more of an afterthought. Not in this beer. It stands strong and has a ton of great flavors.
They also do some small patch beers as well, and had a fairly good pumpkin over the holiday. Their tap room is nice and has a lot of tables as well as a fairly long bar. they have a homebrew store next door for those that want to grab a pint while they pick up something to make their own. The only thing that bugs me is that sometimes they have different things on tap at their north vs. south dock, which is disappointing because there are often things at the other dock I’d like to try. I wish they had everything at both.
They have some popcorn for those that need a snack and allow dogs on their patio.

The BEST. Love DryDock. Amazing selection. Always bring out of town guests. Leading in the CO microbrew industry. Great venue for events. Love the themed weeknight fun music and trivia.

My favorite is the U.S.S. Enterprise. I lovingly call it the Start Trek beer. When I order the Star Trek beer I usually get a weird look and then it dawns on them that I must be a huge nerd and want the Enterprise.
The apricot blonde is AMAZEBALLS! This was the first of Dry Dock’s that I ever tried and they made a fan for life.
When fall hits they do a bomber special where you can purchase a pumpkin bomber and a vanilla porter bomber for cheap. Mix them together and you have pumpkin pie!
They space is comfortable and big with communal seating and a patio. They have popcorn there but that’s it in the way of food though they welcome outside nosh to keep ya goin.
The brewery is also hooked to Brew Hut so if you make beer, you can pick up supplies and then have a tasty adult beverage before you go.
Dry Dock is well established and the quality of beer reflects that. They broke ground and made way for all the breweries that pop up around Denver and I think everyone should thank them for that.

Great beers! My favorite is their Apricot Blonde, and their seasonal Half Moon Pumpkin Ale is delish as well. They do win awards so make sure to come out and taste their brews.
Love how much this place has grown over the years as there are good reasons. Great beer, great beer lovers, and great service. Also, thank God something in my hood since not much out here in the burbs and I love a good locally owned business. This place usually has a decent sized crowd since it isn’t just a brewery to the locals it is also a good watering hole.
They do not serve food here… unless you sustain on popcorn, but if you don’t no worries, you can bring a bite in from one of the many local resturants (Gyro King is in the same plaza — just sayin’), or you can have your vittles delivered.

One of the best brewery bars in town. Atmosphere is great, lots of really good beer. They don’t serve food but you can bring your own or even have it delivered to the bar.
Only complaint is they close too early, 10pm.

Never would I have suspected a wonderful brewery like Dry Dock located in a unremarkable looking strip mall. But I love Dry Dock and it somehow adds to their personality. I’ve been a few times since it’s so close to home so really there’s no excuse why I’ve only been a few times. The beer is wonderful, if you go, you have to try their Apricot Blonde, the beer that made them big. I’m also a fan of their IPA’s and just had their Half Moon Pumpkin which was a delightful way to celebrate fall. While they don’t serve food, you can go next door to the Gyro King and bring in a gyro, get some wings at the Wing Hut or order a pizza, it’s all good. If you forgot and are strapped on cash, they have endless popcorn full of buttery salty goodness to keep you drinking more beer! And it works because I keep coming back for more, way to go Dry Dock! Next time I heard I must try the Ala Mode — their Imperial Pumpkin plus Vanilla Porter, hello lover!
And to end, their staff is awesome. This past week we were enjoying a beer on a Thursday night and two girls (I would say ladies but they weren’t) came in sloshed. Like so bad that they somehow drove to Dry Dock, fell in the parking lot and tried to get served. The staff kept on eye on them, gave them water and stopped them before they left. The bartender stayed with them until their ride got there, extra props to Dry Dock for keeping patrons and others safe.

Excellent brewery!
The bartender is a friendly guy who kills (in a good way) the short conversation. Can talk about nearly everything.
The venue: large glass windows to watch them brewing the beer in front of you. There are plenty of tables for large groups, and patio seating when nice.
The beer: excellent, I can see why it’s award winning. What we loved: vanilla porter, sommer weizenbock, anniversary quad, imperial pumpkin ale.
The price: 6, 3oz tasters for 8 bucks. Nice deal.

Really enjoyed the casual vibes of this Brewery. It’s a tad loud but there are plenty of TV screens to watch games. Of all the Breweries I visited, the Vanilla Porter was the best I tasted out of about 30 samples over a 3 day visit in Denver.
The staff are informal and very helpful. The pricing of the samplers are the best going at around 6 for $ 8.
Really happy I came here. Thx Dry Dock. Will see you again next time I’m in Denver.

This feels like your local brewery! FREE popcorn, cheap delicious beers — what more could you want? They have a great variety on tap and I went with a flight (6 tasters for $ 8) to try a bunch. Very solid beer. A nice taproom. A bit noisy when it’s busy but that’s expected. And free popcorn! If I lived in the area this could be my living room.

Great place to come for a fun night with friends, or as we discovered tonight, a business meeting!
Lots of seating inside, plus a nice patio outside where you can bring your pups.
Beer is awesome.
Service is friendly, even when it’s crazy busy.

My husband and I came to Denver to visit family and attend a good friend’s wedding. It was a shirt, whirlwind trip. But there were a couple things we wanted to cross off of our traveller’s bucket list. Every place we visit, we find at least one brewery. We thought we’d crossed that one off yesterday but when a lunch date with another friend brought us to the neighborhood and we had time to kill, we’re stopped in for a quick flight. I’m seriously glad we did.
The gentleman behind the counter as we walked in was friendly and cordial. He got us started on our flight and answered the couple questions we had.
The beer itself surprised me. I am both usually a beer drinker. It’s a rare day indeed when I pick a beer off a list or menu and finish the whole thing. But of our 6 beers, I would genuinely order and drink 4 of them again. The Sour, the Apricot Blonde, the Amber, and the Pumpkin they had on tap today were all to my liking. As we live out of state in Ohio, I can’t just swing back by any old time I like. So I seriously contemplated grabbing a case to take home as another piece of luggage.
Dry Dock. I implore you, start getting your beer sold in Columbus, Ohio and you will already have 2 fans waiting to spread the word.

Little brewery in a strip mall in Aurora? Save your skepticism!
This beer is legit. With new varieties always being added, this delightfully-​fresh beer will fill you up with both hops & happiness.
They work around long community-​style tables, so be prepared to chat with your neighbor (awkwardly, or not). They’ve also got quite a bit of patio space, about half of which is heated!
The staff was surprisingly patient and polite with me for a busy Saturday night visit — even let me try a taster of their Imperial Pumpkin before purchase (now that’s a strong one!).
This dock isn’t so dry after all — once you’ve had a few.

We love Dry Dock. Their servers are very helpful at selecting beers that fit your palette. The samplers are a very reasonable price, so you can try several before committing to your favorite flavor.
They have fantastic beers and lots of options for all tastes — from soft and light, to really hoppy and bold. Their Apricot Blonde is one of my favorite beers, I even purchase it at several area liquor stores as it’s always a crowd favorite at BBQs. Their Vanilla Porter is a bit strong for my taste, meaning it’s not as frothy malty as some that I’ve had, but it’s still pretty dang tasty. Another great one to try is the Saisson.
They don’t serve food, but they do provide a menu book with listings for local food joints that will deliver right to your table at the brewery. I haven’t made it to the North location yet, but I“m sure it will be just as great as the south.

Good beer, a lot of selections. Service was good, the server was funny and attentive. They have a flight of 6 3oz beers for $ 8. I’m surprised how slow it seemed for a Saturday night. I like how you could get your own water from the Brita machine.
