We’ve been ordering from here for years, and the food is very decent. The Eggrolls are very good, as many different Chinese restaurants ax we order ftom, we like theirs the best. As far as the phone service comments go, I don’t recall having a bad time, but FYI they are on grubhub, so skip the language barrier and let your fingers do the talking.

This is my go-to for takeout. We’ve never had a bad meal here, and we’ve tried several dishes. Our most typical order for a family of 3 is the sweet and sour chicken with egg drop soup, crab rangoons, and beef with broccoli. Everything always tastes fresh, delivery is always prompt, and the prices are good for the portions. Their lunch special is a particularly good deal!

We have tried a lot of Chinese takeout places since moving to the area 6 years ago, and this is now our favorite. Very tasty with good sized portions. Meat is very tender and veggies cooked perfectly! Many other places we have tried don’t put enough sauce in their meals. This one does just the right amount so it goes great over the rice. Keep up the good cooking!

The food was good, but the phone service was a bit lacking. I’m always courteous on the phone, when working or otherwise. However the person who took my order on the phone was a bit rude and was not very patient with me.

My husband and I moved into the area in February and found this place. The food is great, not a bad item yet but the lady who answers the phone is terribly rude. She has the worst customer service I have experienced. I usually deal with it since I call to give her my order since the food is good. Today I called to place and order and when it was delivered she had made a mistake and gave me fried wontons instead of fried dumplings. When I called to explain the situation she then rudely blames me for the mistake 5 times in a row!!! No sorry at all strictly«that’s what you ordered» even after I argued I have never ordered that before I have always gotten the dumplings. After arguing she then tells me she can send my dumplings over and to give the wontons back(gladly) and that I owed 1.87. Now I know it’s not much but come on lady, I’m not paying extra for your mistake and horrible customer service! After arguing again for another minute that I was not going to pay she starts yelling at me on the phone and finally tells me fine I send it. The dumplings come and then I’m told I owe the money. I laughed! End of the story the driver left without my extra money. This makes me not want to order from this place again only because of this horrible situation that could have been avoided. Seriously whoever answers the phone needs to understand how to treat your customers!!!

Average is the best way to describe this place. Average food. Average prices. Delivery took twice as long as they said it would with no apologies or explanations.

This place has been my go-to joint for Chinese food when I’m in the mood for it. Been going here for 6 years now and I still love 3 dishes the most: house special lo mein, fried potstickers, and the BBQ pork. All three are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. The counter girl Sandy is also nice, she’ll remember repeat customers. You should give it a shot.

This is my go to place for Chinese takeout. I’ve been ordering from here about twice per month for the past 1 ½ years. It’s extremely affordable for what you get. Portions are good sized, not small, but not massive as you might get at some places(might be a turnoff for heavy eaters). They have a very large, diverse, menu. They also do things differently than your standard Chinese takeout. There is definitely some Japanese influence on their Chinese dishes, and I find the blend enjoyable. I would never call Chinese takeout healthy, but it is definitely healthier than most places. No entrees swimming in gravy or sauce, and I NEVER feel like the food is sitting like a rock in my stomach after eating a meal there. They seem to try and fry as little as possible, so nothing is overly breaded other than your Sweet and Sour dishes. What really stands out for me there is their pork, and I’m not normally a pork eater. Their egg roll is really good and quite different, but I do not like the duck sauce they give you to go with it. Wonton Soup, Crab Rangoon, Black Pepper Chicken, and Mongolian Chicken are other favorites of mine. I almost always get a small entrée and for $ 2 you can add a Soup + Appetizer or Small Pork Fried Rice + Egg Roll. Dinner for two usually costs right around $ 15. Definitely give it a shot, and there are some hit and miss selections as does any place, but most of them are hits. Closed on Mondays!

I stopped here on my way home from work because I saw all the great reviews. I ordered egg rolls and beef chow fun. Didn’t like either. Golden Sea has way better food! If you think this place has good egg rolls go check out Golden Sea down the street on Ogden. I won’t be back

Went there based on the reviews and they were right! First off, the woman who takes the orders was so friendly. I liked their menu too. Not many places have scallops on their menu. The food was tasty and the crab Rangoon was amazing. The egg rolls were just ok but I like spring rolls better. I will order from here again.

So I was driving in the middle of nowhere(Aurora/Plainfield border) and was looking for a place to eat since we hadn’t eaten all day. We stopped at Johnny Rockets but after seeing the greasiness that is their burgers we got back in the car and kept on going. I saw that East Asia place had 4 stars so I pulled in. Décor is typical of Chinese American Restaurants. It wasn’t very busy but the customers that were there seemed very happy with their choices. The host seemed to be having a bad day but who doesn’t right? No star off because of that. We did however wait around for a good 5 minutes before someone came to take our order. We placed our order and then waited around for about another 15 to 20 minutes. Really?! After waiting around for that long, I pretty much wanted to inhale my food, but resisted. The egg rolls were very good, Kudos on that. Their hot sauce was made perfectly as well. Their actual food was so so, nothing special. My mom and I had Chicken Schwan, my dad had the Chicken Curry. Unfortunately the chicken didn’t taste very good, specially in their chicken fried rice. My dad isn’t very picky, so for him to complain, it must be bad. It took forever to get ANY drinks or refills. Again, maybe it was a bad day for them. Overall, this place was good for the moment, we were all pretty hungry. I don’t think I would makes a trip out there just for this place though.

I’m convinced that the true measure of a Chinese take-out is the egg rolls. And East Asia Place has some pretty good egg rolls. I also thoroughly enjoyed my veggie friend rice. Instead of going the cheap route by just throwing a can of peas into the rice and calling it a day, this place actually put in snow peas, onions, broccoli, etc. It was delicious and flavorful.

Ever heard an Asian man who can barely speak English try and speak Spanish? Come here with a Spanish person and find out exactly what it sounds like. Hilarious yet very flattering. This is one of the very few Chinese places that my grandma likes so we come here at least once every 2 months. We always get the same guy and he always speaks Spanish to us and has our orders ready when we walk in. The food is great, like every Chinese place, the portions are redonkulously huge. The rice is always great and the meat is never under/over cooked. The food is always prepared quickly, no more than 15 min, and it’s delicious! Love this place and i especially love my Spanish-speaking Asian friend.

We order from this place about twice a month. The best part is that they will make any dish steamed with the sauce on the side, which makes for more healthy options. The gal on the phone knows my husband well enough now to know that he wants the food extra spicy even if he forgets to ask. The steamed dumplings are a favorite at our house, as is the quick delivery time.

You know how every neighborhood has«their» Chinese place? This is ours, hands down, and probably will be even if we move. The service is super friendly, and the receptionist is so adorable. No matter what you order, it’ll always be ready in «10 minute.»

I moved to the Aurora area a few months ago and have been trying to find a decent Chinese food restaurant that delivers. After browsing on Unilocal, asking neighbors, and trying a few places I ran across East Asia Place. My husband and I placed an order about 10 minutes before closing time of Sesame Chicken and Beef Egg Foo Young. The food was DELICIOUS! Fast service, courteous service and they have a new customer for a while unless they change the menu. The EFY was just okay, a little too flat and not fluffy as I’m accustomed to elsewhere. The sesame chicken was awesome and delicious. Seasoned perfectly, the sauce was good and even the broccoli was cooked to perfection. East Asia Place has 2 new customers in the Jones’ family, because we loved the food. I wanted to rate it 4.5, but it there’s not an option for that. Will definitely order here again!

We’ve tried most carry out Chinese places in this area and have found East Asia to have the best tasting dishes, best service, best prices… I’m yet to have a bad dish and have tried most of them. A couple of my favorites — Black Pepper Chicken and Shredded Beef Beijing Style. I’m not sure where they source their crab rangoon but it’s one of the better carry out versions I’ve had.
