G & A Landscaping

Very unhappy with Gil. I’ve called and emailed several times and he won’t call me back. We paid over $ 10,000 for our patio & 2 trees in Sept 2013. The patio stairs has a gap in the brick & the patio around the stairs is unlevel. Also, 1 of the trees died a few months after Gil planted it. He said the trees & patio have a warranty. I called him several times over spring 2014 & he finally replaced the tree in Dec. I was mad bc the new tree wasn’t the same kind as the other pine but I didn’t complain, I was just happy that he finally came out. Well, planting in the winter was a bad idea. It died as soon as it snowed! No idea why he waited so long to come out! I called over & over but he won’t return my calls about the patio or the tree. I’m going to email him once more & if he doesn’t respond, I’m calling a lawyer & will also tell everyone in my neighborhood not to use this company. I saw there’s a bad review on Unilocal with the same issues I’m having. It’s not a recommended review by Unilocal because the person didn’t review other companies. However, he stated that he only joined Unilocal so he could write a review on this company. Take my word for it because I paid over $ 10,000 in cash & it was a waste of my hard earned money!!! I’ve reviewed quite a few companies on here & I only give bad reviews when its something severe. I’m not rich so when I pay for something, it better be money well spent.

I received a flyer from G&A Landscaping in my mailbox at the exact perfect moment. I had just had one landscaper completely bail on me – I’m talking not show up, not return phone calls, nothing after 2 weeks! Next, I had one come and do an estimate that was WAAYY over what we were willing to pay, so my husband and I said «forget that!», and finally, I called up a popular 5 star reviewed company on here only to hear a recording that they are 4 – 5 weeks out for new customers. Yikes! We need some help now! Enter Fabiola and Abraham!
I called Fabiola on a Sunday just to get myself in the books for an estimate. She happily lined one up for early Monday morning which was perfect! She and Abraham came over and I walked them through what we wanted done: basic weed clean up, edging, trimming of tall bushes, and mulching. We needed some extensive work I would say… the previous owner had pretty much let the yard get overrun with weeds and neglected. We needed the professionals to come out and hit the landscape reset button for a clean slate, but also keep the natural look that I was going for intact. They listened carefully and gave my husband and I a very fair quote! We agreed and they were able to come out 2 days later!
Abraham and Fabiola led their crew the entire day and checked in with me a few times to be absolutely sure that they were doing what I had asked for. Other than that, I trusted Abraham to use his best judgement and do what he does best. They did NOT disappoint! Our yard looks clean, yet natural, the edging is perfect, the weeding/​trimming was excellent, and the mulch looks fantastic. They did all the work in 1 day. I had a good feeling about this small company, as they were also doing a house down the street from me here in Winfield, and I am so glad I trusted my gut! The result certainly surpassed my expectations! Reasonable rates, friendly and talented staff, and quick results! I can’t recommend G&A Landscaping enough. It’s a small business and they work hard for their clients! Thank you so much Fabiola, Abraham and your team!
