Garage Door Service Co

Total scam of a company. I needed someone in the evening, they said they had someone 30 minutes away. 2 hours later 2 shady looking guys showed up and quoted me one price and then charged me 150 more than the quote. I refused to pay and then they started taking apart my garage door where they put the new rollers in. I was desperate to be able to get out of my garage so I paid them but this company is as dishonest as it gets.

Unreliable, Poor Quality, Poor Workmanship. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place when my garage door broke on a Sunday. I was scheduled to be out of town on Thursday and needed a new door quick. These were the only ones picking up the phones that day that said they could have my new door installed by Wed. They were scheduled to show up at noon but didn’t show until 6 pm and didn’t get the door completed until 11pm (it would have been an all nighter if I hadn’t assisted the installer. They had to come back and re install the moldings and readjust the springs and opener when I returned from my trip.
The door lasted till June when the top 2 panels buckled. When I called them to make a service appt the said it would be a $ 89 service charge just for the tech to look at it. I waited until 1pm (scheduled between 8-​noon) When I finally got to speak to someone on the forth call without being placed on hold they told me that they made an error and the tech wouldn’t be coming out until the following day. At that point I said forget it and called a local company to come and take a look at the door (no charge).
I would avoid GDS and go with a local reputable company that has good reviews.

GDS was infuriating to work with. They stood me up not once, not twice, but three times! Then, they accused me of calling the wrong company to schedule my appointment, when I later learned that their database had crashed and lost client appointments. Their customer service was extremely poor, and they did nothing to fix their errors.
When we did have someone come out, they charged us $ 300 for 15 min of work. Our garage door had issues about a week after that, and we discovered that the employee had not fixed all of the issues with our door the first time. However, GDS refused to cover that in their warranty. Nor did they agree to discount their work.
Avoid getting duped like we did!
