Havana Pharmacy

I was pleased to see that a pharmacy and medical supply store opened along one of my normal routes. Havana Pharmacy and Medical Supply is housed in a strip mall and is easy to bypass if you’re not looking for it. In addition to offering a full-​service pharmacy, the small retail space offers some of the typical stuff you’d find in a drugstore, plus extras like wheelchairs, walkers and other medical necessities. I love the fact that they carry several non-​prescription items that I’ve never seen at the big box stores (oral rinses, skin care, etc.).
The level of customer service is what will keep me coming back. While browsing the shelves, the very friendly pharmacist asked if he could help me find anything. He also informed me that if I was unable to find what I was looking for it would be no problem to order it, at no extra cost to me. He even provided a free bottle of water so I could stay hydrated while I perused the shelves. I didn’t get a prescription filled on this visit but they advertise that they take all insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid. I love to support small, local owned businesses and I will happily return.
