JBR in the Fox Valley Mall in Aurora, IL — has provided excellent service. The manager Kris, and an employee named Kirsten, have been really outstanding. My fiancé purchased a ring for me from JBR and I saw issue after issue occur with the ring. The center diamond, came loose, the rose gold wore off, then another diamond surrrounding my center diamond fell out completely. I was starting to lose hope that my ring was cursed.(I was also starting to lose my patience,(and my mind)). Not to mention I was having serious concerns about the about the quality of my ring(and any jewelry from there). So, I expressed those concerns to both ladies. They have always been very helpful… and patient… and kind. They helped me replace the ring, as it issue-after-issue and I was in the store almost once a month. They reached up the chain and asked for special permission to replace the issue ring with a new(identical) one(which has been issue free since I received it). I was very impressed with service and work ethic of these ladies. My only concern is that the store does not have a voicemail and it makes it impossible to leave voicemail messages. That is my only concern. Both Kris and Kirsten are really great so I feel confident purchasing our wedding bands and any future jewelry here knowing that we are in good hands. Give these 2 a raise!(and a voicemail system!) :)

We bought a ring on valentines day. Paid for it to be sized and it took a month to come back. August 1, the ring broke in half right where it would have been cut and resized. When we took it back in, they told us they were going to charge us to have it repaired. Less than five months after having it. Forget it. We had to pay to have it resized when we bought it and they did a poor job at that. The ring looks like someone took a ring cutter to it. Unreal. We will take it to a REAL jeweler to have it repaired, where they GUARANTEE their work. No more business from us or anyone else we know either.

Last year, on Black Friday, my husband and I bought our wedding bands at JB Robinson. We received friendly, attentive service, even on the busiest shopping day of the year. They didn’t try to upsell us on anything we didn’t want, and spent a good amount of time helping us select what we wanted. My husband doesn’t wear jewelry, so he ended up with a loose band since he wasn’t sure how it was supposed to fit in the first place. About a year later, we got married. THIS was when he realized it was too loose, as he nearly lost it on our honeymoon and at work. While I heard that tungsten rings cannot be re-sized, and have to be replaced, I figured it was worth a shot to go back and see what JB Robinson had to say. Well, we were originally told that yes, we’d have to replace it with another $ 200 band. The lady helping us asked someone else and then told us that we could have it replaced — for free — and only pay a $ 25 shipping charge. We went for it. Great service, reasonable prices, AND a good credit plan.

Ok this is what you do tell your man you need to get your ring cleaned or you think your rock is loose and bring him in here on the weekend. Find the blonde guy with the spiked hair. This guy has a way about him of convincing your boyfriend/husband to upgrade without you having to bat an eye. By the end of our hour of being there he had convinced my hubby to not only up-up grade my ring but get me a nice diamond necklace to match. Oh and yes it is really really easy to get credit here even if your score is just so so.
