Parking lot is always interesting, it’s like a game of Frogger. Employees are usually rude, but I tend to avoid them anyway. Store is typically a mess. I only go to this one if I’m in the area and absolutely have to.

This is the worst store… Forget trying to find someone pleasant in CUSTOMERSERVICE, the one employee GIL, is one of the worst. He acts like you are bothering him when you need help and then is super aggressive and gruff when trying to ask questions. This place needs some better management for sure. Also, why do they always do a taste of SPAIN every year, the same old crap. Why not a taste of any other country INDIAN, GREEKETC SUPERDIRTYSTORE as well, things on the floor in almost every isle. Oh and lock your car, lots of homeless in the parking lot(asking for money and lingering not just shopping there)

Been meaning to write this review for a few months. We recently moved to the area and as a stay at home mom with a toddler we go to the grocery often and have unfortunately shopped at this location for convenience. This store is not well kept and they are always out of certain produce and poor quality of some of the foods they sell in that department. The employees all seem unprofessional and disgruntled. The check out clerks are the worst and are always negative about there jobs and rude. The deli department is staffed w women who act annoyed to help you and there hair is always sticking out of there hair nets and the employees themselves seem unclean. I actually am too grossed out to buy anything at that counter anymore. They do offer a free piece of cheese to kids at the deli but the past two times we got some the edges were hard and crusty. It seems like the same cheese sits out for months. I see at least 4 employees every time smoking cigarettes out front and smell it every time on our way in and out the door. I like King Soopers as a company but there is obviously some management and employee issues at this location. When I need convenience I will shop at your competitor.

This store looked like it had been ransacked… rude employees that cut you off — the only exception was the nice butcher with the British/Australian accent was very polite. However I’ll never come back to this store. I recommend you avoid it as well.

Looking for a decompression drink that you did not carry called Marley. Then i was solicited by a panhandler right as i walked out the door.

Nice, big, clean store with lots of good eats. The«characters» here can be questionable, but the staff is friendly.

So I get off at about 530 in the morning and I stopped here after work to pick up a few things for dinner. The place was nice and empty and I talked about two employees and both were super nice. The checkout lady was awesome she engaged in conversation and made me feel like a really good customer. The place was very clean and I will continue to go there. It’s all about customer service and this King soopers definitely has it good job.

My wife started going to a different king soopers farther away because of multiple issues, I still go to this one… until today… I’m now fed up too, it has to be managements fault the way the employees act, they always smoke right outside the door, today the uscan and service desk people were sitting in chairs on their phones, there is one lady that works there that is always screaming across the store, the aisles are s mess, we got 4 cans of organic soup that were over a year expired. The employees are down right rude here. Today was my last trip to this king soopers.

Love this king soopers! I always see the management out and asking people how they’re doing. Friendly employees. Best part? Prices! I admit, some things are average priced, but when you take advantage of their convenient app you save a lot of money! Bought 7 regular household items and saved over $ 13 in one trip.

I visit this store several times a week and it’s time that I give mega kudos to a specific employee! Bobby is a young man(early 20’s?) and I have seen him do amazing things on several occasions. He seems to have unlimited amounts of energy and good will. I see him rounding up carts and taking a moment to say hello to people on his way, he chats lightly with customers while he bags groceries and the other day, a very elderly man in ill health was waiting in line and he directed the man to a lane that was closed, but Bobby opened up the register just so that the gentleman didn’t have to wait. He then jogged over to an obviously new employee and helped him bag. At one point, he ran out to my car with a bag of groceries that the checker forgot to put in my buggy. This is an amazing guy and I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to be served by someone with this level of work ethic and positive energy. Give him a raise!

The prices are ok, the selection ok as well. It’s king soopers, nothing to be excited about. This location has narrow aisles littered with obstacles placed for you to dodge them. Not a problem if you get there when it’s quiet, but get there too early you have the stockers to dodge as well, get there too late and the obstacles cause pile ups in the aisles as people try to get their carts around them.

King soopers is really good for a grocery store. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of five is because the prices are a little higher than Safeway. However, they do have a better selection. The thing that really puts it over the top for me is the olive bar. I love high quality olives, and the garlic olives here really beat anything you can get in a jar hands down. Here is a tip if you don’t have a sppoer card. Just ask for one at the register, even in the middle of checking out. It can really save you a ton of money.

Always super busy but always clean. The only thing I don’t like is they don’t carry my favorite ice cream of Haagen Daz OR Ben and Jerry’s.

This is the neighborhood grocery store I prefer to use. Parking is adequate, store is clean and seems to be reasonably stocked at all times. They have an awesome olive bar and they have a variety of artisan cheeses.

This store is really far away from where I live. I only happen to be here due to other issues on this side of town. I don’t really have any problems with this store at all. The shelves were well stocked, well organized and the produce was fresh. I was in and out of here in a reasonable time frame due to self-checkout. Shopping during the middle of a week day also helps out. I was also impressed by their stock selection of Zum Bar body products. I’ve not seen that much Zum Bar product at a King Soopers ever. Nice job.

Further update; I heard from the store manager Luke and the district manager Kathy Loot, and both were very receptive, and the district manager offered to send me a gift certificate for my trouble(which the store manager did not and should have). Luke said he has only been the manager of the store since the beginning of the year. Also, Kathy Loot basically said with regard to the aisle displays, it is less important what the customer wants(after I told her customers don’t want them in the aisle) and more important to shove more product down their throats so they impulse buy(I’m paraphrasing, of course). So despite the gift certificate, i won’t be returning to this store. Management basically feels they have the right to inconvenience and harass customers, and are too little, too late or nonresponsive to their complaints, so be it. i’m boosting one star for the gift certificate. i’m considering a letter to their CEO, Russ Dispense. Ironic name since the store seems to have ‘dispensed’ with caring about the customer.

This store is a disaster. They obviously can’t keep their employees because they change more often than my daughter’s man flavor of the month. The stuff is crammed on shelves and difficult to find. The store is always a mess. There are never enough cashiers and although some of the cashiers are very nice, some of them should have been shown the door a long time ago. Hey, King Soopers employees, you are not doing me a favor by allowing me to go into your store. I am gracing you with my presence and my money. Try and remember that. And if you are going to put an item on sale, keep it in stock. What is the deal with the prices? It used to be that you could always count on King Soopers to be the lowest. Not anymore. I got into a conversation with a manager of another King Soopers store and was told that employees of the Iliff King Soopers call and beg that manager to hire them away. If true, it is a sad commentary on the management of this store. The King Soopers at Chambers and Mississippi is such a vast improvement, it is hard to believe that this two places are the same chain.
