History

Established in 1995.

Kraft Screens is a locally and family owned business. In 1995 Kraft launched the first mobile screening service in the Portland market. It wasn’t long before we began offering additional Products and Services to compliment the mobile screening business.

Today, Kraft Screens is the local leader in Residential and Commerical screening and shading systems. Our specialists are in the field providing on-​site service that is unsurpassed. We continue to seek innovative products and ideas that will help us better meet the needs of our customers.

Kraft Screens has been the Preferred Vendor for both Home DepotTM and LowesTM for the past 10 years. Kraft installs storm doors for both companies. Kraft also installs their Wizard Retractable Screen Doors® through all of the local Home DepotTM stores.

I had Kraft measure and install 10 interior doors in my house. I was sent to Kraft through Home Depot. They did a great job measuring for the doors and all the way through the installation process. The new doors look great, they installed all the door handles, which I wasn’t expecting, and each door opens and closes smoothly!

Kraft screen was contracted by Home Depot to take some measurements for interior doors in my home. The guy wasn’t friendly, but worse of all, he completely fabricated his assessment. They actually refused to do the job, not one person from Kraft contacted me, even after I left a voicemail for Ty the owner, to resolve this matter. I was never contacted back. I’ve filed a complaint with this company with Home Depot, Kraft has zero respect for customers and the way I was treated is unacceptable. I would never do business with this company ever.

The estimator (Jay) arrived early, explained all of our options and didn’t pressure us to upgrade. An installation was scheduled for one week later. The installer (Matt) telephoned to say he’d had a cancellation and could be there early. He did a very professional installation, explained how to use and adjust (if needed as time goes by) the door. I/​we could not be happier with the quality of the product, the service given and the price. Highly recommend. Too bad more businesses don’t operate like Kraft.

We had several missing or broken screens in our home. Kraft Screens and Window Washing came out, took measurements, gave us a bid right away which was surprisingly inexpensive, then quickly came and installed the screens. They were very efficient, timely, affordable, and best of all, we can open our windows without bugs getting in! Much easier than trying to replace them ourselves.

I called Kraft Screens to replace a few broken screens at our apartment. They were prompt in getting back to me and completely explained their fees up front before they went out to do any repairs. Once they arrived, they called to say they could fix a second screen at a very low cost because replacing the first screen didn’t even meet their minimum charge.
