Business Owner

Dr. Dougherty graduated from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1970. After serving 2 years as a Captain and Base Dental Surgeon in the USAF he established his private practice for general dentistry in Aurora, Colorado. He has served his profession and community through chairing committees, founding study club activities, directing dental care for hospitalized patients, volunteering for Health Fairs, and donating services for the Colorado Division for the Handicapped every year since 1985. Most recently, Dr. Dougherty has been instrumental in improving the safety and economy of dentistry through new training methods for dentists and hygienists who practice in appropriately designed dental settings.
