Palms Tanning Resort

I’ve been going to this tanning salon off and on for at least 8 years. I’ve always experienced very pleasant people working here. The rooms are very clean and I love the larger beds.
I love that tans in a package, other then unlimited monthly packages, don’t expire. I still have tans from 6 years ago available to me.
There are several different categories of beds available. I personally have a preference for the top package ones, which of course are the most expensive. But I don’t feel like I’m laying in a coffin as they are large and very roomy.

I have been to a lot of tanning salons and this one is the best.. The girls up front always are friendly, professional, and I always want to leave a note for their boss about how great they are. I think giving this place a bad review baed on high school drama is pathetic! It is not the cheapest place to tan but it is one of the nicest. They explain what exactly you are paying for and I have never felt «ripped off» after leaving there. They don’t try to push products on you like other places. I have been a happy customer for over a year, and I will continue to tan here.

My daughter has gone here many times. She recently ran into a girl she knew in middle school (Samantha) who now works here. Apparently this girl still does not like my daughter and has started stalking her social media and calling her names on the same. Because my daughter frequents this business often and has for years, she went to discuss the situation with the «manager» who was also rude regarding my daughters concern about one of their employees bad behavior. My daughter said Samantha was discussing this with the «manager» when she walked in today. My daughter was told the owners were «out of the country.» The «manager» told my daughter that «if you don’t have a membership, I really don’t care. I’d be happy to sell you a membership but since you don’t have one, I won’t be doing anything for you.» Sad — my daughter really liked this salon, but if they let their employees post negative comments about their customers on social media while on the clock, we won’t be back.

My boyfriend surprised me with tanning sessions from here. I was a bit annoyed with what the girl «sold» him as a good package. I ended up changing my package. He bought sessions but I have not been tanning in over a year. I would never be able to get through an entire session without being burned. I changed to a monthly package on the 2^nd level.
I like this place as it is very nice. However, I didn’t think I would need to sell a kidney to afford to tan… even a low level bed. I won’t be continuing my monthly tanning with them but may go back to them for special events as they do have top of the line beds. Overall, great place if you can afford it.
