Mediocre pizza, better than Spizzicos. The owners are really grumpy. Good bread sticks.

I knew the man who started the original location in West Chicago off of 59. He said that they would never charge more than $ 5 and that they would never have any other business plan than $ 5 cheese, sausage, or pepperoni pizzas ready to go. This location in Aurora fails that standard on all levels. Price has increased, they’ve added more toppings which the original owner said they would never do, and as the founder correctly predicted, the extra toppings have made it impossible up get a cheese pizza instantly for lunch without waiting for it to be cooked. Some of us don’t have time to wait around for you to not be lazy and get a pizza in the oven. You are PIZZANOW, not pizza in 5 to 10 minutes from now. I wasted 15 minutes of my 30 minute lunch driving to your location to get a plain cheese pizza that I could bring to the break room and share with others. It used to be, when I worked in West Chicago, I could go in, grab a cheese, and get back to work with enough time to eat. Then people would ask me about Pizza Now and how great it was. They got a lot of word of mouth referrals from me over the years. Never again. I don’t know if the founder is still affiliated with the business, but if he is, he sold out his principles. If he was bought out or bequeathed the business to his kids or grandkids, they’ve totally screwed up the premise of the company. Go back to your founding principles or Little Cesar’s is going to wipe you out. How hard is it to just have 1 cheese, 1 pepperoni, and 1 sausage ready to go? I wouldn’t have even cared if it had been there since 10am. I just want lunch, quickly so I can get back to work. Ugh.

I was a little skeptical but overall I have to give this 5 stars! 5.50 with tax for a large pizza(1 topping) not bad at all, pretty good & delicious for the price. Waited less than 10 minutes and it was worth it! If I work in this area again I am definitely paying them a visit.

It’s the one-size-and-price-fits-all quick serve pizza joint. A one topping pizza is $ 5, additional toppings are $ 1.69, or you can get a 3 topping for $ 8.99 though they don’t let you double up on anything for some reason. Pizzas are medium to large-ish. They have a pleasing chewy and buttery crust, kinda doughy but not too thick thankfully. Cheese is good and toppings like sausage, mushroom, or pepperoni are tasty enough. If you’re into spicy, they use pretty fresh jalapenos, not pickled crap. Their sauce has some good tomato and spices taste. Many at my work pooh-pooh this pizza but several like it. For some reason the division runs along racial/ethnic lines(blacks and Hispanics don’t like it, whites do). Peculiar but true! They also offer breadsticks, which I’ve never tried. Call ahead or wait in the store; your pizza’s ready in about 5 minutes. Great for when you don’t want to pay 3 – 4 times the price at Rosati’s just south of here.

I saw this place, and thought, «$ 5 sounds good, and I’m too lazy to cook tonight.» so in I went. The wait was just 4 minutes, so nbd there, but I would have waited longer if it meant my pizza had flavor to it. This is just a step below run-of-the-mill pizza. It would probably work for drunk people parties.
