Plato’s Closet Aurora

Absolutely irritated. Went into the store with 5 big bags and 2 boxes. All of the 7 were filled and overflowing with clothes. I was told it would take about an hour to get it all sorted. The associates weren’t all that nice. I looked around the store while waiting for my clothes to be processed. Most of the clothes never worn with tags. After about an hour they were ready. They gave me $ 20 for 4 things. 1 of which was a prom dress that was originally $ 180 and a never worn pair of jeans with tags on them still. Platos closet is a waste of time. Gonna try and find a different place to give these clothes for money. Never going there again!

This is a really great store. Very well organized and lots of great stylish clothes and shoes. The employees are very friendly and helpful!

Really good store. Sales people are very friendly. Huge selection to choose from & very well organized. You say «gently worn». I say «thrift store». Either way it’s a good option if you want a lot of bang for your buck. I did take off a star because the whole place smelled like feet. But hey, all the shoes were at eye level so what can you expect?

My daughter loves selling and trading top brands and styles. The store is a little crowded and we’ve purchased some items that have been returned that were damaged, but you get a lot of bang for your buck. $ 12 American Eagle jeans and $ 18 Abercrombie winter coat, both were barely, if ever worn.

I love this place! The staff is very mellow while @ the same time givig great customer service. My niece got a bunch of really cute clothes for not a lot of $. I would highly recommend this store!

I’m digging this Plato’s Closet. This is one of the nicest second hand stores I’ve been too. I use to frequent a Plato’s in Orlando and it was nowhere as clean and organized as this location. Granted this is a newer store, but little things such as size dividers that are large enough to see make a big difference when you’re looking all over the store.
The staff working here were great. On top of being friendly they were helpful and checked on us frequently. They would put the clothes we picked out in a bin making it easier to explore the racks. When we were ready to hit the dressing rooms our clothes were ready for us in the bins next to the rooms.
I came here with my teenage daughter. This store is more for the younger crowd, but I found a couple of shirts. My husband found some too, but our daughter scored and got 4 name brand shirts for $ 30. While the prices are $ 1-​$ 2 more than Orlando I don’t care, because the experience here is so much better (and I even like the Plato’s in Orlando).
Hit Plato’s before you head across the way and shop at Southlands. You’ll get more bang for your buck.

Loved shopping there. The staff was superb. They didn’t make me feel like the old uncool grandma I am. Took my granddaughter and even found a couple pair of jeans and a couple purses for me!

I came in here to just browse and check out the goods. Second hand stores and I are bff’s. So needless to say a more upscale second hand store is the place for me! Here’s the top 3 reasons to check out Plato’s Closet:
1) I love the way they organize the store! By color and then size. Makes it great if you are looking for something blue and then you can just browse through until you get to your size and style you want!
2) They have a punch card! Once it’s full you get a percentage off your next purchase. I think you also get a punch for every $ 10 you spend…
3) They carry the most current styles and everything is in great shape!
okay I do have a 4^th reason!
4) You can bring in your gently used threads and get credit for your purchase!
Even if second hand isn’t your thing, you should give Plato’s Closet a chance! It’s not your typical second hand store experience!
