Food was good, service was terrible. Cashier was calling the food. «bomb as fu**», said. «The soup is some good shit»?. Definitely not appropriate.

I honestly don’t know why all the hate on this location. Food was great, people are very friendly, and it is busy enough to show me that it’s worth visiting.

My boyfriend and I went in to Schlotzky’s yesterday around 3pm and there was hardly anybody in there. We looked at the menu and decided what we wanted. I ordered a Tuscan sandwich which comes on ciabatta bread per the menu but I like sour dough bread better than ciabatta, so I requested sour dough instead. The young man taking our order said that the sandwich only comes on ciabatta and there are no substitutions. That didn’t make any sense to me, so I told him I really wanted sour dough and he went in the back for all of 10 seconds to ask the chef and then came back out and said«we can only do ciabatta on that sandwich.» There was no explanation given as to why I was not able to choose my own bread for this sandwich, so we took out business elsewhere.

Came in for my free birthday sandwich I received on the«Lotz4Me» app and they didn’t even say Happy Birthday! In fact their expressions at the order counter were more disgruntled that I dare claim a free sandwich. The manager walked by my table a couple times and didn’t even make eye contact seemingly deliberately. Terrible service here except for the gal who handed me my sandwich at the window, she was nice and smiley. At least my sandwich was really good.

I have noticed this location has taken a beating from reviews so I thought I would try it out to see if it’s as bad as every one says. I have been eating scholtkzies my whole life at the original store in Austin Texas and was thrilled to find it here in Colorado. I can honestly say my sandwich was delicious and tasted just like it does back in Texas. The bread was nice and toasty especially around the edges(so yummy) and my food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. The staff was also very friendly to me. Maybe they have gotten new management before I came in today but my experience was just what I expected. Keep making those sammies Lotz better!

The food is great but the service is terrible! We spent, about half an hour in the drive through with only one car in front of us. All we ordered ed two sandwiches and two drinks. When we finally got to the window, the cashier took a long time to use the credit card. I’m very disappointed with this locations service. among many other issues we have encountered this location gets an F in my book.

I have gone to this location for years and have never received such horrible service until recently. We went through the drive thru, and after waiting for several minutes it was clear that no one was there. We said«hello?» A few times, no answer. So we pulled forward and could see that people were inside. We waited at the window for a bit hoping someone would notice us, nothing. We decided to park and go inside. When we walked in, there was no one there to greet us. I could hear girls cursing and yelling at each other in the back. Someone finally came to the front, and we let her know that we had tried to go through the drive thru, to which she responded with a blank stare. No apology. She rang up our order and then we sat and waited. Another girl came out and informed us that they were out of medium sized bread. I told her we would do large then. She said«You know that’s a 14 dollar sandwich, right?» I felt that was very rude and presumptuous of her. Oh well. We sat and waited for our food while the cashier flirted with a guy who was there and have him free cookies and a drink. All while complaining about how much she hates the store and how she went out and got drunk the night before. With no concern at all that we and all the other customers could hear her. I have not returned and drive 10 minutes further to visit the Parker Rd location.

This place used to be sooo good. Now the quality is just OK and the service sucks terribly. Only reason to visit is because we have to go to Sams Club on occasion and have a craving

Worst branch I’ve ever been to, waited on the registrar for 15 min just to place an order and nobody showed up, went and knocked on the kitchen door and a girl(who was probably high on drugs) told me that they are busy making sandwiches, told me will be there in 2 min. Waited for 10 min then left without ordering. This place needs new trained employees.

Wow, who runs this place? Horrible customer service every time we have been here. The employees are always pissed off and seem to be poorly managed. This restaurant is not up to standards and I’m surprised the franchise hasn’t stepped up and made some changes. Called today to place an order and was just left on hold forever I know they are not that busy at 2:30 in the afternoon. Do you have caller ID? if so you should call a customer back and apologize for such poor customer service. I love Schlotzsky’s but will never spend another dime at this location. Corporate should shut this place down as they are ruining the brand. I’m a restaurant consultant and have worked in the this business for 15 years, the manager should be fired and never allowed back into a restaurant again.

I never expected this place to be this good because it is under fast food category. Food — 5 star. Fiesta Chicken was really good. I didn’t know this kind of fine tasting burger. Also tried their carrot cake, it was very sweet. I had a couple of order after I ate one. I had fun eating it, Service — 4 star. I didn’t got bored waiting for the order because it was just like 4 or 5 minutes waiting time. I thought this place was a fast food and they serve the food that fast, Wow, that was the first word that come out of my mind.

Clearly Schlotzski’s management needs to take a 2nd look at this location because it is bringing the brand down. The food is good. The service and cleanliness is subpar. They were out of white milk and ranch dressing. Not a deal breaker with that, but kind of a staple. And it was freezing cold in there.

This place is a joke! I have never been to a place like this with horrible customer service and bad food. A lady who took our order was rude from the beginning, no smile, no greetings whatsoever. When we were waiting for our order to come, we heard someone shouting«Fxxk You» from the kitchen area. We had no idea what was going on, but we minded our own business and kept waiting for our food to come. Shortly after, an older couple came in, no soul at the front, and they were standing there for a long time. Finally the rude lady came and took their order. I was surprised they waited that long. Our food came out and I was not satisfied. The half salad was okay, but my half sandwich was pretty bad. The bread was toasted too long, a little black charred area in the corner, extremely dry that it could cut inside of my mouth! My friend ordered a pizza and she said she preferred BlackJack’s pizza far better. The crust was too airy and dry, not enough toppings for the amount it cost. This was not my first time going to Schlotzsky’s. I have been to the one on S. Colorado Blvd(they were closed now) and their sandwiches were excellent. This aurora location could completely ruin the brand name«Schlotzsky’s» because of low quality food and horrible customer service. I would never go there ever again, not this location, and I discourage people from going there.

Okay, I’m a huge fan of Schlotzsky’s. Both the locations in Highlands Ranch and at Parker and Arapahoe have made me a lifelong customer. Well… that is until my visit to this dump. As I’ve said, i really enjoy Schlotzsky’s and wished for one to open in central Aurora. The day finally came and I couldn’t have been happier. Too bad all the great qualities of the other franchises didn’t make the cut here. My first visit, I stood in front of the cashiers counter without a soul around. I made my over to the food window to find employees chit chatting like a bunch of hens in a chicken coop. The cashier bluntly apologized and took my order. She had about as much of a personality as a balsa wood. The sandwich was ready promptly, however it sorely lacked from what I’m used to. The meat portion was poor, the bread wasn’t proofed correctly and left me fairly unsatisfied . Okay, I’m a forgiving person and gave this Schlotzsky’s another chance six months later. Nothing had changed. Poor food and even worse customer service. Tonight we had the misfortune of having to be waited on by ponytailed late teenaged angst boy. I clearly say a «number 4 a number 1 and a number 5»…you know.,.the meals. Rings me up, pay him, and ask for my drinks. He says«duuuhh, you ordered the sandwiches only, duhhh». If I only wanted sandwiches, I would have said so, and not three different combo meals, moron. So I pay for the extra drinks and chips without even a ‘thank you ’ or a ‘sorry’. What kind of McDonalds drive thru reject is this? Anyways, the food hasn’t changed either, same poorly baked bread and sloppy portions with crappy presentation. I won’t ever suggest this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Hey Schlotzsky’s franchise owner, close this store as it gives the other restaurants a bad name. Your Schlotzsky’s SUCKS!!!

As the fire department was in the middle of helping one of their customers, management asked if they would move their trucks. What’s more important making sure your customer is well taken care of or being concerned of bad publicity?

This place was kind of dirty and run down looking. The food was alright. The server I had was great, but the other girl behind the counter… not so great. Then I used the restroom, big mistake… pretty gnarly. I won’t be returning, unless it’s to-go.

I’m giving this particular Schlotsky’s a 2 star rating ONLY because of the service. I LOVE their food, always have since I discovered them when I was a kid. No problem there. They just really need new people working here. Every time I’ve been to this one, I have to deal with a very bored looking teenage girl that seems like she has no idea what she’s doing(why isn’t she in school at 1pm on a weekday?!). I’ve noticed her screwing up other people’s orders too. Plus, I think they have maybe one or two people in the back making the food. Every time I’ve been it’s taken at least 20 minutes to get my food… and it’s not even crowded, maybe 2 people ahead of me. I would say, «well maybe it’s just this one time, I’ll cut some slack,»…but no, I’ve been here quite a few times, service always sucked.

I found this to be a better option than the usual Quizno’s/Subway and it kicks the butt off any fast food option McD’s/BK/etc. My medium sandwich combo was enough for lunch and the price was right. I went with the Albuquerque Turkey combo, which was a stack of sliced turkey and cheese with veggies on a round jalapeño cheese bun. Great flavor and nicely toasted. The chips were nothing special, their own brand of blackpepper potato chips. They have the usual soda fountain plus a good selection of orange/cream/root beer from a brand I can’t remember, plus a bunker of potato/macaroni salad and tossed salads. The soup looked good. We came here at peak lunch time, so the parking was tight and we didn’t have much choice of table. But if you are before or after the rush, the place is fine. Would I come here again? Yeah, I think so.
