Been going here for years and never really had a problem here. The burgers are amazing and the sausage ege and cheese sandwich is my favorite dinner item(yes i eat breakfast for dinner cause that’s what i like). All day breakfast and the mozzarella sticks are great too. Also them tater tots tho!

I think for a fast food place Sonic is better then most options. I love that they actually have a huge variety on the menu compared to similar places. Not only do they have some good unique food options but they have a lot of yummy ice cream options as well. On average we get friendly service and that’s hard to come by with fast food now a days. For the most part I would say our order is spot on. As with any fast food place it’s a good habit to check the bag before you leave. Sonic is MILES better then the Fox Valley Steak n Shake where they have horrible service/unclean/you will get your order wrong or have an entire meal missing! Sonic is worth the money unlike Steak n Shake. Even Sonic has better ice cream which Steak n Shake is known for. Sonic has everything together vs Steak n Shake could very well say we’re out of ice cream??? WTF Steak n SHAKE is in the title within itself and there’s no excuse for that lol they’re a JOKE. We went there and got an entire meal missing and waited forever for the food that they gave us HALF of. Should have checked the bag… hell should have went to Sonic instead for better food. We were out our money and food on that recent trip! I don’t know why I give fast food employees the benefit of the doubt anymore to do a simple job like put our complete or RIGHT order all in the bag. I would go to Sonic just to get their yummy ice cream for a treat, better menu options here. I hope they stick around. :)

I like Sonic, just not this one. The service is terrible. You will either wait forever in the drive-thru or wait to order from a stall and then wait forever to receive your order. I’ve eaten at this location twice recently and was disappointed with the service both times. I’m done. I’ll still go to Sonic, just not this one.

2 stars for the service… probably 4 out of 5 times that I go here I don’t get napkins or plasticware lol. even though I order boneless buffalo wings that are very messy. Keep going back though because of the delicious ice cream and food.

Good food, that’s about it. Waited 20 mins for a burger and a drink. Every table was covered in food. No one to take your order if you prefer over the kiosk. Their baby seats are dangerous and dirty. Luckily there’s better burger joints around here like portillos.

13 minutes and 54 seconds is how long it was from ordering the food to receiving the food. Sadly, I was the only one in line. Pretty subpar… and I am being generous. Thankfully the food was fresh and they weren’t messing around. They gave me an extra burger as a peace offering… What? Is Sonic trying to fatten me up so I can become dependent on their food? Maybe…

Service is horrible! 22 mins for a burger and kids chicken strips! Only two other people in front of me. I would of gave 1 star, but the food tasted OK. Not going back.

Honestly, not my first choice for dinner on a Saturday night. Or any night. But the kid’s whining won out tonight, so off we went. I like Sonic, generally speaking. I don’t love it. I REALLY don’t love that every. damn. time. we go to this location, they screw it up. Like pickles and mustard on a kids’ meal burger where you’ve explicitly asked for ketchup only. Tots instead of fries(obviously a kid’s choice here, because normally I’d be all over some tots.) Or nuts on a junior sundae where you’ve also made it very clear to NOTADDANYNUTSWHATSOEVER. Oh, and by the way, you added hot fudge to the wrong damn dessert. Again. I mean… EVERYSINGLETIME. I don’t care how much whining the kid does… next time, we’ll just hit Chipotle or even the Starbucks drive-thru next door and be done with it. Avoid this location.

Well we stopped by on a Saturday night and stopping by was the first mistake. Ordered a #1 and #7 with tots. After a very long wait the food arrived. It was someone else’s order so after we got things sent back the server, Bryan left the drinks and what was suppose to be a Corn Dog. but it wasn’t and Bryan came back and brought back our order. My mistake again since my wife’s burger was not right. We decided to eat it anyway and WOW my big mistake. This place has the WORST Corn Dog and my footlong coney was actually two WAYOVER cooked hot dogs. Needless to say Bryan was smart enough to not wait for a tip and my tip to anyone stopping at this place is only eat ice cream and I hope they don’t screw that up. I was not expecting a lot but for $ 16.00 I feel like I got ripped off as I now have to go some place else to eat dinner. I can say this was my first and last time at this location and it will be a long time before I give another Sonic!

The drive thru people talk so fast it’s impossible to understand them and there’s always a minimum wait of 15 minutes to get your food. I would definitely recommend Pockets across the street over this place any day of the week.

Good place to grab a burger and a shack. Was a little lost on how to order but was helped by staff. The nerds shack is really good. I will be going back

Slow service. Told me they ran out of ice cream at 8pm. They wouldn’t make any more?. They’re open until 11pm so they couldn’t make overcame for 3 hours?

Waited years for a Sonic to open in the area so I was really happy when we got the first one right here in Aurora. Over the years this location has really improved. I really like that they made the outdoor patio indoors. Makes a lot more sense in this climate where it is either hot or freezing cold. Nice to know now I can go to sonic in the winter and not have to eat in my car. The drive in is fun but I prefer to eat inside. Another major plus about sonic is all the drink flavors they have. The ocean water being my personal favorite. You can also get these flavors in a slush which is great on a hot day. The burgers and fries are also great to pack on those pounds. Over all a great place to go. Kids will love the car hops. Oh ya and don’t be a cheapo tip your car hop!!!

Sonic really is only thing I miss after moving to Chicago from South Carolina. I remember in high school, kids were in car, eating Sonic, and dancing with the radio on after finishing shopping at the local mall. I would say kids back in the days were way more innocent and truly enjoyed the simple life like what food has provided for us. We just missed the happy hours(everyday from 2pm to 5pm), but hubby is thirsty. Apparently, my hubby’s orange slushy was gone in ten(10) minutes, but my green apple slushy was just, essentially, «stagnant.» It wasn’t really a problem except I couldn’t actually drink it until one(1) hour later. The service was super, super fast. What I love is Sonic is that you can sit in your car stall, look at the menu, and feel no pressure at deciding what you wanna order. Until you’re ready, press the bottom, and wait for your food to come out. I wish there’s more locations in the city.

I went there for lunch today and should have re turned back I was so pissed. First the order taker handed me my shake messy and ice cream was all over the cup. She didn’t even bother to clean it then had a tude when I told her to hand me the napkin! When I got home I was so f@!#(pissed off the burger was greasy and the bun were all hard! The hotdog bun look like it fell on the floor and they picked it up and made it had dirt on it! Yes Im calling the health dept!!! The cookie shake my daughter got the cookie dough was old! Never again!!!

This place is wonderful, if what you’re looking for from a fast food place is inconsistency. I’ve been here dozens of times. Because it isn’t far from where I live and they have food other then McDonald’s. The food here, comes across as «fake» food or highly manufactured. So consistency is what they should have in abundance. I kick myself sometimes for choosing this place for convenience. To give you an example I went here two weeks in a row for Saturday grab and go breakfast. Both times ordered the Bacon Breakfast Toaster. First time the break was toasted great and the next it wasn’t an intact it was kinda wet and cold. The eggs tasted completely different. I’d expect inconsistency at a sit down restaurant, because of different cook and that it isn’t manufactured food… but this stuff is and the cooks should all be cooking stuff the same way. Also, sometimes I’ve had there ice cream and it tasted like a stale cigarette. Sometimes they give you a ton of toppings on a Sonic Blast and make it look so good you have to have it, and other times you go through half of the blast without tasting a single topping. They also give you attitude if you ask for a drink holder, but only half the time the other half they are nice about it. Even inconsistent in their rudeness. I mean, I know I’ll still go back. But, if you’re hoping to get something great here, you may or may not.

I remember years ago when news spread like wildfire that Sonic was coming to the Chicagoland area. Well, I don’t know what all the hype is about. The food really isn’t that great; it’s your typical fast food served to you by grumpy teenagers. I’ve done the«carside»(is that what it’s called?) ordering once, and needless to say I found it more of a P.I.T.A. than it’s worth. So, this time I decided to go the drive-thru route. Heading over during my hour-long lunchbreak, I was pleased to see it only took me 12 minutes. From entering the drive-thru to getting my food took about 10. So, that left me with 38 minutes to eat and get back to work. Not a problem. So I get in the drive-thru line and star at the menu board, torn between a Chicago Style hot dog and a Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Well, seeing as how payday isn’t until the 27th, my cheaper half won out so I went with the hot dog(and a bottle of water). The girl who took my order had about as much personality as a banana. When I pulled up to the window, she was definitely scowling. I guess it’s my fault for being hungry, ordering food, and making her work. Shame on me. After receiving my order, I pulled into the outskirts of the Walmart parking lot to inspect/eat my food. On the outside, the hot dog appeared to be fully loaded. Bright green relish, celery salt, mustard, onions, sport peppers, tomato, pickle, and poppy seed bun. Yep. Looking good so far. I took my first bite and was quite surprised that the taste matched my expectations. Sure, it wasn’t THEBEST Chicago Style hot dog, but for a fast food place, it was about right. The celery salt may have been a bit lighter than I would have liked and there was a little too much relish, but it was still a tasty dog. I’d probably try Sonic again sometime, but I don’t see it being a place I’d stop at regularly. It’s a bit far from home, and although I made it back to work with time to spare, something tells me the next time I won’t be so lucky.

My favorite thing about Sonic is that after 8pm, the shakes are half price, which makes it the perfect post-workout pit stop. …did I say something wrong? However, if you go too late, they stop serving ice cream. I’m not sure why that’s acceptable, but it’s definitely a buzz kill. But guys, strawberry cheesecake shake.
