I am going on 2 ½ years here. I moved in right when the company changed. well two days before company changed to be exact. I have had a wonderful experience. Staff is great. Maintenance is great and even enjoy their conversations as they remain courteous and build rapport with tenant. Maitenance is quick to fix issues and the Office keeps you updates The staff also goes above and beyond to create fun events for tenants through out the year that involve donations to non profit and even built a dog park. Overall I believe it a great neighborhoods close to schools for children with family, not far from malls and entertainment needs, and apartments have been good. I even upgraded my apartment last spring.

My husband and I are going into our second year here. They’re making a ton of awesome changes. The staff is so wonderful. They help out in anyway possible. Any problems that we have had, have been resolved very quickly. The best part is that they are so dog friendly here!

I love this place so much. Since I’ve moved in, there has been two things that needed to be fixed and they were fixed within a couple hours of me asking! That is just awesome. Meghan was our leasing consultant and she was so nice and helpful! This is my first place so I had a ton of questions and she answered everything! I have a renovated unit and it is everything I wanted. High ceilings, large balcony, neutral warm colors and the parking is great. I could go on forever. I’m happy I didn’t pay attention to the other two reviews on here and still checked it out.(The reviews said they don’t live here so… yeah. Kind of hard to give an accurate review with that.)

Blinds broken upon move in? Fixed! Drippy faucet? No problem for maintenance! Having other issues? I love living here. Everything I’ve asked for they have been there for me. Like State Farm, but way more expensive per month. They office and maintenance workers are both great. The BIGGEST pain in the butt is when the apartment above me did not leave their faucets dripping in the winter. HELLOPIPESBURSTINGAT6AM on a Sunday! The Aventine was nice enough to credit my account for the time I was out of my apartment! The fitness center has been updated since I moved in(September), the garbage is easy to find, and the pool in hopping in the summer! It’s a little pricey, but I don’t mind having EVERYTHING taken care of whenever I need something!

I didn’t want to give this property only 1 star, because aesthetically it was very appealing. I have also never lived here, so I understand that might decrease my credibility on this review. In August 2014 my boyfriend and and I were apartment searching and the experience we had with the leasing consultant was awful. We are both in our younger twenties, and I felt like the guy who was showing us around did not take us seriously at all. Even in the office we were both very polite and professional, and the man was on his cell phone almost the entire time. At one point even we had to sit there in silence and wait while he finished his text. Needless to say, even though we like the look of the apartments, we did not choose to go with this property. We instead moved to Farmington Lakes in Oswego, and we love it there! We have been there since October, and have had nothing but wonderful experiences.

Don’t get me wrong the physical apartments are great and the staff is great too. The ownership is where there is more to be desired. I went here because I knew it was formerly an AMLI residence that has since been bought out. I live in an AMLI currently but unfortunately they want to raise rent from $ 1164.00 to $ 1250.00+. The Aventine was $ 994.00. The reason I bring this up is because we(my fiancé and I) are making more money and have higher credit scores than when we applied for the AMLI residence. When we applied at the Aventine we got denied because of an illegal distribution of canibus charge from 7 years prior when I was 18… The AMLI had no problem with this nor anyone else thus far. Everyone makes mistakes. Beware anyone who has anything on there record, you won’t be approved.

When looking for a home, there is a LOT to consider. I had my share of unpleasant experiences at various high end apartment communities. There were several where I decided within the first ten minutes whether I’d choose to rent from them, and it wasn’t based on their apartment homes but rather the friendliness and professionalism of their staff. BUT… When I initially called to The Aventine, I was immediately greeted by Thania, who was super warm & friendly! She patiently and descriptively answered all of my questions. She even encouraged me in the process and addressed every one of my needs. She was so sweet talking with me about my puppy, Elizabeth. I felt so great talking to her, that I made a point to drive 40 minutes to check out the complex, which says a LOT due to my busy schedule. Immediately when I walked in, it was a very warm & inviting environment. You could tell the staff took pride in their work, and made their office and the lobby as if it were their very own home. They had fresh seasonal candles going, the place felt like home. I was greeted immediately by Teryn even though Thalia had a new resident at her desk. I just knew this place was right. I was most impressed that Thania walked around with me to five different apartments, even going back to one because I wanted to make sure I was making the best decision. She did so with a positive happy & willing attitude, even a few minutes after her shift was ended. I really loved the apartment she showed me & I signed my lease that day. I have a BEAUTIFUL home, new neighbors & wonderful new friends. I felt so well cared for & I felt that they really SHINED :) Lastly, when I moved they gave me a goodie bag with a few staples that people often forget when moving in. The dish soap, sponge, garbage bag & paper goods really did come in handy! I thought that was such a great idea! I LOVE The Aventine :) Teryn & Thania are the best :) p. s. they also have tons of community events & are super pet friendly. everyone in the neighborhood loves and cares about my puppy. that was one of my worst fears was whether or not I should bring her, because I work such long hours, but neighbors have offered to take her for walks & watch her sometimes, which has been a HUGE help :)
