five million dollar renovation my ass! this apartment complex is a joke! the front office staff is completely stupid and unhelpful. I’ve had to tell Tonya’s stupid ass a few things about her attitude. Brittney offered my husband and I a new car port that belonged to someone else already so you could imagine how annoyed both parties were about that mistake of theirs. the parking area is not lined up correctly and some spaces are smaller then others, like extremely smaller to where people can not park their cars safely next to one another with out damage. I hate it, I hate the staff, I hate the ticking in the walls… TICKING in the walls? really? mail isn’t delivered daily! laundry rooms aren’t open for use… you have to act a fool to get them to come and fix something and we’ve only lived here three months. I hope someone goes to that office and slaps the natural taste out of all of their mouths! I hate them!!!

Suck that I have to give a star. I moved here 3 months ago. I’ve gotten some kind of late notice every month even though I paid on time or early. Now the entire rent check is missing and it’s my fault. Even though I have a reciept but because it’s a money order and not stamped it’s my fault. I can not wait to leave here. I hate it. Get ya Forest Gump on when considering moving hrre. RUN RUN FAR AWAY!!!

I lived here from Nov 2014 — Nov 2015. I chose the Courtyards because it was the cheapest rent I could find in the immediate area, and because the apartments looked nice enough on the inside. I could not find any negative online reviews at the time, but I eventually discovered (after signing my lease) that this was because they changed their name from the Landings at Buckley. I imagine this was because of all the negative reviews they were receiving.
The Good: Your neighbors mostly keep to themselves. They have some covered parking spots.
The Bad: Rent is high, maintenance requests go unfulfilled for months, AC is either on or off (I hope you don’t mind being extremely hot or cold all the time), the heat goes out frequently, apartments are buggy (I’m a clean guy but had rollybugs and spiders everywhere), the front office staff is rude and/​or incompetent, the complex is dirty, and they don’t plow or salt nearly enough during the winter. Best of all… They send any bills directly to debt collectors. I was told a final bill would be mailed to me at my new address after I moved out. It never arrived. Repeated phone calls, voicemail messages, and e-​mails all went unanswered. I raised someone in the front office twice, and they could not tell me how much my final bill would be. Finally, on the first of this month, I got a call from some debt collection agency. Hopefully I don’t take a credit hit from all this. I’ve tried calling 20 times this morning to complain, but once again, I can’t raise any front office staff. I really hope someone starts a class action lawsuit against this complex.

Worst of all they DONT keep track of monies. My neighbor was evicted Even after paying tent (she had proof) they didnt put her payment in the system and she was evicted… came home to people scrummiging through her valueables she lost and damagrd alot. she then sued them

I lived here for a full year… let me just say that I REGRET LIVING HERE! Read these reviews «STAY AWAY…» «Do not move here…» «The worst place…», I couldn’t agree more. If that’s not convincing enough for you… that’s up to you but without a doubt you will be wishing you never wasted your rent money to this place and you will end up having the motivation to write a bad review about this place to warn others

Here’s my warning about this place: «DO NOT LET THEM FOOL YOU»
Don’t say you haven’t been warned.

STAY AWAY, TURN AROUND, GO ELSEWHERE! Do not rent here. Last summer, 2014, there was a dead, decaying animal in the parking lot next to the stairs, which is right next to the leasing office, that management did NOTHING of disposal for several weeks (smelly and sh! t ton of flies). I couldn’t have the windows open at all. The amount of mold growing is severely unhealthy. We have mold growing on the bedroom ceiling, which I posted the pic. I know mold is growing behind the tile in the bath tub (water is scolding hot or bitter cold nothing in the middle). They «replaced» the grout but its cracking again,…WHICH! Do you have a leak or a maintenance request… Good luck. They don’t care enough to get anything done. They «MAYBE», «eventually» come around 2 or 3 months later to «fix» whatever sh! t thing that broke or is continuously leaking. Just don’t expect them to actually know how to «fix» it. We have lived here for 2 and ½ years (too long) had a total of 6 leaks, 3 happened in 1 month, and it took 4 months later before they came to the apartment to «fix» all the damages (they put claps on the drains and pipes left them on and patched the holes in our ceilings, which haven’t been painted since). They only do a temporary solution for the moment… you know, just to shut you up and not inconvenience them again! Not a single intelligent person works in the office. They are just hasty to tell you off and get at your money (they swear and curse to your face in front of other people in the main commons area). They don’t have any rent-​a-​cop company or police in general patrolling so good luck, hopefully your car doesn’t fall victim to the HIGH HIGH HIGH, crime rate that happens almost daily and nightly (don’t expect a reaction or response about your car break in you won’t receive one)!!! Another thing that happens daily and nightly are the rude disrespectful people you live near who just constantly yell, scream and play loud bass music. Police/​emergency vehicles sirens are practically non-​stop also (just to truly make a point about the noises). All I can say is that I’m glad the lease is up today and moved out. We are never looking back upon this sh! t hole (ghetto) again!!!

The worst place. However, they’re to dumb to know you have a pet so escaping pet fees is easy. Maintenance steals from the tenants while they are at work… They leave trash all over the place. The office staff lie

Do not move here! You will talked about as soon as you leave the office. When we moved here at the apartment complex had a laundry room for every two or three buildings. After I complained for months and months about standing water in the washers, dirty facilities, mold growth and mushrooms, they simply closed all the laundry facilities. 32 buildings and we’re all going to the laundry mat. Price will jump up every year by $ 150 and if you want to go month to month they will change your contract.
Our original contract said month-​to-​month fees would simply be $ 100 more than our regular rate. When they tried to go month-​to-​month they raised the rate $ 400 more.

Today, I found out that the grounds looks like a garbage dump because there isn’t a ‘grounds crew on staff. The 2 people they had cleaning the grounds must have quit because I don’t believe for one min that they were ‘fired without another grounds crew in place. Drive through this place if you don’t believe me.
It’s really truly looks like a dump.
I am so sad.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! I lived here for 3 years and it was truly the worst place I could have lived. I agree with all the other reviews. The maintenance department is awful. Nothing gets fixed. NOTHING! The leasing office is outrageous as well. I’ve dealt with cockroaches (due to the person underneath me being a hoarder), my carpet smelling like 50 animals went to the bathroom on it, no heat when it was –10 for 9 days, then, heat all the time when I never turn my heat on (yet my apartment is 80 – 90 degrees every day), and after 3 years of living there, they are taking my $ 300 security deposit, AND charging me an additional $ 400 for the carpet and cleaning!!! RIDICULOUS!!! DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! I will be fighting the additional charges tooth and nail.
Oh, I have also called the cops on about 5 separate occasions for domestic disturbances that I thought could end in potential death or serious harm.

I see the other reviews are about on point with the one I’m about to write. It’s unfortunate that one is the minimum star rating for Unilocal,because especially in this case it’s grossly misleading, and artificially high.
The Courtyards, as they call themselves now, have been working on their image… so they say. This complex has gone through several name changes without managing to make any meaningful «improvements.» Their attempts at this are all severally misguided. For example, every few weeks they have a landscaping company re do the plants around the main sign, however after every rain storm there is standing water for weeks. There appears to be no regular trash service as giant dumpsters are forever overflowing. I’ve seen more roaches than I care to count since they never spray for pests, yet they feel the need to re paint the parking lot.
This complex has a high crime reputation, as does the entire wasteland of the city in which it’s located. The management is aware of this, however refuses to even install proper lighting. Also, last February, hot water to the entire building was shut off for several days! All this while a new clubhouse was built and a water feature, of all things, put in by the pool. The pool, I might add was closed for several days early in the season. This didn’t actually bother me until I heard the reason. Ask them about it :)
I will say the office staff I’ve met, even the grounds keepers are very nice, deserving of a far better work environment for sure. Perhaps the corporate office is just so disorganized they can’t get anything important done? Maybe all the aforementioned issues (and believe me, there’s many more I didn’t mention) are too overwhelming to make an impact.
In any event, if you’ve read this far save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere!

This complex has been the WORST experience in my history as a tenant.
The so called «luxury» and renovated” apartment. is definitely neither of those.
To name just a few of my experiences:
the bedroom carpet had left over debris under it, very poor outside lighting, neighbors who throw trash off their balconies, trash in front of buildings, vomit on the stairs, a laundry room that smelled like urine, someone tried to break in to my mailbox using a crowbar, icey steps and drive way in the winter, roaches, «renovated» counters actually just vinal covered, very inconsistent hot/​cold from shower (either scalding or freezing).
The only redeeming aspects, were an exceptional office staff person Angel, and a competent and friendly maintenance man Mike. Oh, and the light fixtures were nice.
