Welcome to Tower Dental. Dr. Flaviu Oltean is the owner and lead dentist with years of experience providing a vast array of procedures in this state-​of-​the-​art, comfortable, dental facility. They’re located at 1155 S Tower Rd., in Aurora, Colorado near Buckley Air Force Base. Dr. Oltean and his staff provide everything from general dentistry and family dentistry, to orthodontics and endodontics, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and cosmetic restorations. Tower Dental also provides care for dental emergencies and dental trauma including chipped teeth or cracked teeth, loose fillings or lost crowns, as well as complete care for dislodged or knocked out teeth.

Prior to moving to colorado with his family, Dr. Oltean worked for 8 years as a dental technician while he was completing his dental school education…

History

Established in 2009.

Dr. Flaviu Oltean worked as a dental technician for 8 years prior to and during dental school. He completed the General Practice Residency program in the Army in his home country of Romania. He then maintained a dental practice for 2 years with his wife Cristiana.

Dr. Oltean and his family then relocated to the United States where he continued his studies through the completion of the DDS program at the University of Colorado Dental School. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2009 and received awards of excellence in both prosthodontics and productivity.

He has been practicing in Denver since 2009 while also working as faculty in the restorative department at the University of Colorado Dental School. Dr. Oltean has completed a variety of continuing education in the field of implants and cosmetic dentistry both in the USA and Europe.

He is caring, compassionate, and ensures the patient receives the highest quality of treatment possible.

I just can’t say enough great things things about this place. Everyone is friendly from the desk staff to the hygienist and assistants and the dentist himself. They are even great with my son who has sensory issues. I dreaded going to the dentist so much that I had, to my own detriment, put off seeing to a broken crown until it was past salvaging and I needed a root canal and a bone graft. I was dreading it terribly. Turns out for no reason. Yes, it was uncomfortable and took a while, but they did everything they could to make it stress free. They even had me laughing in the chair with a mouthful of tools and how often can you say that about a trip to a dentist when they are stitching up your mouth. If you are looking for a great family dentist, you need look no further. These guys are professional, friendly, and a pleasure to do business with.

Nobody really enjoys going to the dentist (at least nobody I know) and to be honest I wasn’t all that thrilled myself (especially since it had been about 4 years since my last visit). However, I was pleasantly surprised with the entire staff when I arrived. Tracy was amazing at balancing patients (both on and off of the phone) and was super bubbly when I arrived. The wait was minimal and the Hygienist took mie back. She took all of my x-​rays and explained everything before she did it. She was very gentle and kind. Then I met Dr. Oltean and was amazed even more. He was very honest, but professional and respectful. He explained everything in detail and wrote up a plan. His plan was both time and cost effective. I am beyond satisfied with my visit and will be returning for the rest of my dental needs. Thank you all so very much!!! I highly HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone in need of dental work!!!

These guys deserve 5 stars! My husband and I have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Oltean, the dental assistant and hygenist, and Tracy the office manager. Everyone knows what they are doing. They are polite, sensitive and competent. The facilities are clean, up to date and comfortable.

I really don’t like going to the dentist. Who does, right? The people at tower dental made the experience as pleasant as could be from start to finish.
They booked me an appointment for just two days after I called! No waiting or forgetting. I got texted a reminder for my appointment too.
The office is clean, relaxed, conveniently located. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and they even hooked me up with some coffee since it was 7am. Early hours are a plus for me.
They took good care of me in the chair, explained everything as they went, and offered me price estimates for future work, making sure it could fit into my budget.
Highly recommended, definitely going to stick with them as long as I’m on the front range.

I went to tower dental for the first time today. My mouth needs some work and I woke up with a tooth abscess. They got me in same day and we’re all so incredibly kind. I am very embarrassed about my teeth but no one made me feel bad. If anything I felt a lot better about myself after leaving. I will continue to go here and get my mouth back to beautiful, I will never stop recommending them to anyone! I’ve already recommended them to two people and I only left an hour ago. Tracy the receptionist is amazing, I wanted to hug her like she was my mom when I left, all the reviews about her are absolutely true!!!

Though I live in New York City, I have come to Tower Dental multiple times when visiting my parents in Colorado. Have gotten major work done here even when doing so in NYC would have been more convenient.
Dr. Oltean exudes competence and is very honest and matter of fact, which inspires trust. I’m someone who likes to be armed with all the information possible, and they make sure to share any knowledge they have, so you can make an informed decision. I never felt like I was being upsold anything.
Most importantly, they seem to genuinely care and believe in what they do. I called the office to get the doctor’s thoughts, at his convenience, on a treatment recommended to me by a dentist here. He got on the phone the same day, and spent 15 minutes discussing it with me and looking at my chart.
Tracy the receptionist is fabulous and clearly loves what she does — she goes the extra mile to help with billing and insurance, and making sure you get a convenient appointment time. Saydi as a dental assistant is very skilled and friendly. Their equipment is state of the art, and have not had to wait long to be seen.

Great experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and Dr. Oltean was very professional. I went in for a simple cleaning, but I ended up having to go back for some fillings as well. The entire process was pretty painless and they even made sure that my retainers fit properly afterwards. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about this practice. I would recommended them to all friends and family members. Tracy the receptionist is a delight to work with! She is efficient and excellent at communicating! The entire staff, shame on me for not knowing names, are great. Very diligent with their procedures and practices. I was seen promptly and given excellent care. The have a picture perfect office that is extremely clean and organized. Top of the line equipment and treatments.

I’m the type that can’t even think about the dentist without getting nervous. I needed to find a new dentist as I had some extensive work to be done. I read the reviews and gave tower dental a shot. Right away Tracy drew me in with her friendly personality. I was also happy to discover the hygienists are cheerful and chatty and they included me in their discussions thus taking my mind off the dental work. There is great music playing in the background (not elevator music). Dr Oltean is a funny guy he talks to his employees like they are actual people and has helped put my fears to rest. All the procedures I’ve had done have been good experiences. The office is always clean and welcoming. My mom has been going to the same dentist for 35 years and says when her dentist retires she’ll be going to tower dental too.

I really enjoyed this dental practice. I just moved to the area and loved the dentist that I used to go to so I was nervous about trying a new spot. After seeing the reviews for Tower Dental I decided to give it a shot and I am glad that I did.
Tracy was there to greet me and she really made me feel at home right from the start. It is really nice that you can fill out the paperwork beforehand on the website too. Sayde was my hygienist, she did a great job and was extremely friendly also.
Dr. Oltean is amazing and very thorough. I felt like this was the deepest clean I have had in a very long time and could tell the difference in the whiteness of my teeth immediately.
I would definitely recommend Tower Dental to anyone in the area or who wouldn’t mind travelling for a great experience.

Just came to Tower Dental. Tracy was an angel. She got me in first thing! My first visit was so easy and so not scary. I was in so much pain and they took care of me with so much care. The best dentist I’ve been to in this area. The staff is great, especially at making sure you know what your insurance covers.
Dr Oltean knows what he’s doing. He picked out my cavities and told me which ones needed filling the soonest, to best match my coverage. Which is delta dental.
The worst part for me is the numbing shots, and I barely felt them. They were very good with the suction, some places let you drown.
I don’t ever look forward to going to the dentist, but going here, I know the work will be done right and might keep me away just a little longer.

Upon arrival I was greeted by Tracy the receptionist. She was very nice and up front with what my benefits covered. After filling out the paperwork I was seen promptly by the woman who polished my teeth.
After my teeth were cleaned I had to wait several minutes to see the actual dentist (writing this review as I’m waiting).
Only reason I knocked this down a star was because what little free time I have is precious to me and I’d certainly not like to be waiting around to have my teeth and gums poked at.

Had an appointment today and Dr. Oltean was very thorough. They actually took xrays and full high resolution color photos and did a great job pointing out problem areas needing addressed and areas to watch. Great visit and staff overall is very nice.
