Town Center At Aurora

Love the mall because of how huge it is never any problems, nice staff and good experiences even though I love far away from aurora I hope to come back soon aurora mall keep up the good work I am super impressed also I do love the selection of stores it’s too bad the old navy that used to be there got taken out and now it turned into a shoe department encore

The one star is for security. Giving me a bunch of shit over something that wasn’t my fault. Gotta love security guards who think they’re cops.

This mall was very large and busy for a Saturday afternoon. Had many displays to admire as you walked through the mall. I really enjoyed the variety of shops that are offered in this venue. This mall is very well kept and clean. Which is hard for a mall to keep up with. I think that this is a great place to shop and grab a quick bite while shopping.

This is a nice mall that I had the chance to visit while in the area. They had an art exhibit on display that was interesting to look at while walking throughout. The mall was full of people shopping, eating and having a general good time. Despite all the people I found this place to be clean and well organized with decent shops and high profile anchors.

This shopping center has a love hate relationship with myself. I have been a regular shopper for more then 10 years. The food court is honest to god my only favorite spot of the entire mall itself. This is the closest mall that is confidently near me. I prefer to shop at the Cherry Creek Shopping Center and Park Meadows than this dump. It’s a dump because the stores are tacky, with rude and low class customer service. I’ve had horrible service from almost all the shops inside. The only bright shops that are perfect and great with their customer service are stores like the LensCrafters, Casuals, Spencer’s, Hot Topic, Claire’s and 579. The Disney Store is still pretty magical but went downhill years later. The Victoria’s Secret is the only other store with amazing shopping experience. The Pet Shop inside the mall is also awesome. I highly recommend the Mexican store that is inside oh my goodness that store rocks. Either way, it’s not the worst mall, but it’s sure hell not the best either. A few more miles to drive doesn’t hurt to get a better shopping experience. I haven’t continued to visit this mall, because if you go more South in Colorado, it gets better than ever!

I’ve seen this mall over the years change and some of it for the better, but unfortunately mostly for the worst and I believe it’s mainly attributable to the clientele. The security staff tend to treat curtain people they identify as thugs or gangsters like they have committed some sort of crime just for browsing the stores at the mall. I understand they have a lot of teenagers and other savage like people that come to this mall looking for trouble but they treat a lot of people badly that didn’t do a thing to deserve it. The mall is located in a up and coming area with light rail opening up just across the street, but it is still an area where your gonna have unruly patrons, and rude staff.

Many better malls in town. A bit seedy and run down.

The mall is clean and respectable. I love going on the weekend, they have parent volunteers and sponsor family nights. That means that you have to be at least 18 or with someone over 21 years. This has cut down on much of the teen activities. The mall has a decent crowd but you are able to walk freely. It has a variety stores to meet your shopping needs. They have great deals and many of the stores are on retail me not to allow for more discounts.

This isn’t really that great of a mall, but they have almost all the sneaker stores and that’s something. They also have a sbarro if your craving pizza.

Well I just moved to the area so I am thankful for the town center they have lots of new shops some regular stores too fast food and a hobby store and restaurants

After working & living in San Antonio for 3 years & coming from Dallas, where there really are malls that aren’t exactly safe, this mall is super nice. As I read some of the reviews, I was a little hesitant but skeptical that it was really as bad as they say it is. The mall has it’s anchors & a few smaller shops with affordable (yes, they are lower quality, but when you’re on a tight budget when even Forever 21 is pricy, these will do!) clothes. I feel like a lot of the comments about it being not safe are more internalized discrimination or racism, blanked with some lame excuse. There were more minorities here than I’ve seen anywhere in the Highlands, and I loved it. made me feel at home!

I really don’t have a problem with this mall — it’s near where I live, convenient — and I feel safe. The reason it gets three stars — it doesn’t really have those annoying people in the middle of the aisle trying to get you to pay for things you absolutely don’t need. It loses some stars because the selection of stores aren’t all that great. Of course there are the anchors (Macy’s, JcPenney, etc) but I wish there were more of the smaller stores. I do like the animal store in the corner… and this time I was very tempted to take one of the puppies with me… they sure know how to give the sad eyes (all you pup owners know what I mean!)
Overall — not a bad mall. On this trip I didn’t have time to check out the food court but it seemed busy when I walked past.

A local mall that has seen its ups and downs within the last decade.
There are still some nifty stores here, like the Dillard’s, Macy’s, or Express, as well as a well-​rounded food court if you’re in the mood for a quick snack.
However, the smaller stores in the mall have seem to have shifted towards lower quality clothing and accessories. Most of the time it is hard for me to find exactly what I am looking for here and if I do end up finding something, it’s typically at one of the main department stores or well-​known brand names. Although some great deals exist if you are willing to look!
It isn’t too crowded, which is a plus if you aren’t looking to wait in a long line. The food court is probably the most populated part of the mall, so expect some wait time there around lunch time.
Not bad though, if you stop by once and awhile.

Not a very good mall. It is clean, but alot of sketchy people. If you go to this mall go early before all the riffraff shows up. Never go there at the beginning of the month (welfare recipients and their unmonitored kids buying out Footlocker). I am not an old person or ultra conservative, but I would go to another mall since this one is plain trashy and starting to get tattoo stores and cheaply made, no name clothing stores similar to the old GEN X stores in there. Avoid! I am surprised there is still a Nordstroms or even Dillard’s in there.

Town Center is definitely it’s own shopping experience. This mall caters to a less wealthy crowd. You’ll be hard pressed to find many of your favorite brand-​name retailers, but the trade-​off is a number of privately owned, off-​brand stores that offer more affordable wares. I couldn’t tell you how many inexpensive yet attractive outfits I’ve purchased here! It’s not much to look at, but this where I go if I want to get some serious shopping done without breaking the bank.

Also known to locals as «Aurora Mall,» «Aurora Town Center Mall,» «Town Center Mall,» and «creepy place,» this mall gets two stars because a) it provides jobs for probably a great deal of people in Aurora (a huge city with few jobs and fewer employers), and b) it provides shelter from storms if you’re walking around outside during one of Denver’s ten month winter seasons.
Town Center Mall, in Aurora, Colorado, is now famous for having the movie theater in its rear (pun intended) that the Joker guy chose to wreak havoc in not long ago. The movie theater itself is across the parking lot from this mall, and whether or not it is officially considered part of Town Center Mall, it certainly is an ominous presence — especially when the theater itself is being redesigned and redecorated (but still with minimal, if any, security of any kind and still with a vast expanse of woods and open fields directly behind it just so you feel safe).
The mall itself has tons of parking, a huge bus depot in it for affluent employees who work in the courts and DMV, library, municipal center, museum, and every other aspect of Aurora City government directly across the street, and tons of greasy-​armpit diners all around within walking distance so none of the City and State employees across the street have to look far for food. There are gigantic Super Walmarts and Sam’s Clubs also within a 2 – 3 mile radius for them as well.
But the mall itself is something of a mish-​mash between a dilapidated inner-​city mall on its last legs and a flea market.
Occasionally there are the random shootings in the mall, fights breaking out between local acne-​scarred gang members, wandering hydrocephalics looking for crumbs on the ground, people playing hide-​and-​seek behind parked cars, and decent sales to be had amongst the aforementioned fun.
Half the stores at any give time or day may or may not be actually open. The security guards can occasionally be seen for a few seconds at a time before they promptly disappear again. When the Mrs. and I venture into any given store, the sales staff may or may not be present, they may or may not know what you’re talking about or asking for.
And it’s interesting in a off-​kilter kind of way how: the pet store seems to be always staffed by teens with more piercings and jewelry hanging out of every orifice than could be found in a tackle box, most things seem to be more expensive here than at other chain stores selling the same items (comparing Lane Bryant and EB Games), and there are store hybrids that other malls don’t (or won’t) have such as the clothing store that also has a barber in the back, a pawn shop that also sells t-​shirts and cologne, or the photography studio that sells snacks, the Mexican bootery that sells gigantic luche libre style boots with tips going on for at least 2 – 3 feet in length, the mom and pop mall eateries that produce wafting aromas never before smelled that make you feel nervous and edgy as if you’re being stalked by a rabid chupacabra that just vacated its bowels, and, of course, the occasional bizarre lurching character who just can’t take his eyes off of you for some reason or the people who ask for change while you shop.
Ah…that Aurora Mall charm, fresher than a whiff of fetid under arm dampness in the afternoon!

I’m not a fan of all the youth but this is the only mall that houses all of the shoe stores my son will most likely find a pair that he wants. Additionally, there is a Lane Bryant, Spencer’s, Deb, JCPenney, Revolution, and Rainbow in here so, if my son and I are going to find something we want, all the viable stores are in one place. I also like Piercing Pagoda, though, they are getting a bit pricey.

Visiting the mall for some male shopping and didn’t want to scare him off with going to multiple local shops. I’m more of a local shopping gal, but for his sake we ventured to the mall.
Hit the JC Penny’s and the Dillard’s. Was pleased with both department stores.
Seems like this mall has a little bit of everything, if I needed something from a Department store or chain I would be happy to come here. A little bit of a distance for me but worth the drive I think.

Aurora mall is not that bad. Jezz le Wezz. I actually prefer it to lets say Park Meadows. Lets Compare:
Aurora — Plenty of Parking
PM: Have to hunt while you get cut off by people driving Land Rovers.
Aurora — Great mix of people — everyone is welcome
PM:I have not seen so many cardigans in my life.
Aurora– Great food court plenty of options
PM: Well I think I have enough money for a sliver of cheesecake.
Aurora– Has all the main stores you need JC Penny, Macy’s ect.
PM: Nordstroms won’t even let me apply for a credit card
I can go on. Aurora has done a lot to revitalize the area and I think that they have succeeded. I will defiantly go back especially around the holiday season to avoid the other mall.

Past it’s glory days, but reinvented, this older mall still has some shopping goodness to offer. There are a few «for lease» signs up and it’s rarely crowded, but what is there is respectable and worthwhile. From other reviews, you may have gathered that my two favorite places in the Aurora Mall are Old Navy and the Vans Store. The Macy’s is OK, same goes for the Dillards. I rarely find anything I like at JC Penney, but Sears is huge for me from jeans to power tools to electronics to fragrances to housewares to work out clothes — I find Sears seriously useful.
The food court is a mall food court, so let’s just leave that alone, although there’s a Chick-​Fil-​A (also see my review).
I’ve never had any bad experiences with cavorting teens or hostile senoirs or hit and run perambulators. I also have never been there at night, so I can’t speak to how the vibe may or may not change with the setting sun.
