This is my local Ulta I usually go to. They have a good selection from prestige to drug store brands. The staff interaction I have always had was good. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. Look for the $ 3.50 off of $ 10 it’s always good to use. Today on Black Friday I tried to use one on some Hemp lotion, although it excluded prestige brands, the cashier was willing to try it and it worked ! So always ask because they can check. I would say as a general statement about all Ulta’s you do have to read the fine print on the coupons because most exclude lots of items. However there is a 20% during the holiday time to use. Overall I will continue to return to this ulta it’s a nice store and a good selection.

This place gets one star only because the cute pregnant sales rep was so friendly as soon as my husband and I walked in she greeted us and helped us with Makeup. She then called an older mom looking Russian lady that wasn’t friendly and definitely did not have customer service skills. Before getting even more upset I decided to leave the store. Too bad.

If you know exactly what you need then this store is great. The cashiers are always friendly. But if you need help with makeup or advise don’t expect anyone to be of any help. I went in with a dire need for a better foundation then what I’m using, no one asked me for help so I looked for someone. A very nice lady in the salon area directed me to the«makeup lady» she told me to sit down in the Clinique area and I explained before she got started that I had already used Clinique and it didn’t work for my skin. She threw her hands up and said«well what do you want from me. This is the best we sell» first off Clinique is not the best but secondly that’s not the only makeup they sell, she wouldn’t even direct me to something that would work for me. It was the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever encountered. I wasn’t rude back I just thanked her and said I’ll keep looking. I’m so disappointed because I really did want to buy from this store but when the staff is unwilling to help I can’t support a company that hires people who don’t care or have a bad attitude.

Went in for their salon. I never get my hair cut at the salon because of bad experiences. I always cut my own hair but I really wanted a change… bangs! I made an appointment at the salon because I received an email for $ 25 cut and style. I got Nakisha. She was wonderful. She listened to everything I wanted and eased my nerves. I got exactly what I wanted and received compliments as I was browsing the store.

I love the variety of prices and items. You can find items for any budget and look beautiful. They have a great loyalty program and you can always find coupons. The clearance deals are amazing, i have always been able to find good quality items in the clearance section. I got a chi flat iron for $ 22.00.

The prices at Ulta can be on the high side for some items, but when you consider their frequent buyer program can save you tons of money in the long run, I guess it all balances out. They don’t always have everyhing I’m looking for stocked on their shelves, but they have a GREAT return policy. If you purchase an item and you don’t like it, you can return it — no questions asked! Their staff has always been courteous and helpful.

I enjoy going for a little money dropping at Ulta. They carry some of the nicer brands and all sorts of drugstore brands. Everything from Stila to Bare Escentuals to Maybelline populate the shelves. All kinds of hair care can be found here, along with a huge selection of tools, brushes and accessories. Anything you need to scrub, buff, clean, polish and present are at this store.

I don’t think I’ve ever walked out on a hair appointment before. I called this afternoon to see if I could schedule a last-minute color appointment. They obligingly scheduled me with Ashley for a few hours later(I almost gave them an extra star for flexibility, but the rest of the review will explain why I didn’t). I registered at the front desk about 2 minutes early. Ashley said she needed to clean up and invited me to walk around the store or sit in the waiting area. I walked around for about 10 minutes and then figured she must be done cleaning up, so I sat down. I proceeded to watch her help FOUR. MORE. CUSTOMERS. for the next ten minutes. I didn’t even get a «I’ll be with you in a minute.» By this time I’d been waiting about 20 minutes for my appointment, and frankly if my stylist isn’t paying attention to me, how can I expect her to pay attention to my hair? I decided I didn’t want to spend the money here, so I walked out. Due to my angry distraction while leaving, I twisted my ankle getting into the car. That probably doesn’t help the 1-star situation. What a waste of valuable weekend time!
