We moved to Aurora Colorado almost one (1) year ago from Houston, Texas. Our one store in Houston was Mecca Mart because it was so clean, the Staff were so helpful and polite (spread the Salams) and they kept true Halal Products.
Well, after purchasing from several Halal Marts in Denver & Aurora, we can finally say we have chosen ‘WORLD FOOD BAZAAR’ as our Halal Mart. The Staff are helpful, friendly, inviting, and return the Salams. The store is always clean, and the prices are affordable.

They closed at 8pm when it clearly states 8:30pm on their door!
Make sure to call before you show up here! I had ordered chicken for tomorrow was expecting to get it tonight but I guess they got sick of waiting for their actual closing time of 8:30pm

It’s a nice quiet, off the main road type of Indian/​Pakistani grocery store. You can find any Indian spices that you need. I go there to get seasoning packages for my Indian dish. I got some garam masala and some frozen chipati (only $ 2). Their fresh groceries are pretty skim. But they have a large selection of accessories, bangles, earrings, what not. So if you need some sparkling bangles you can find tons there. They also have a deli section, and serve samosas and some types of fried desserts. I haven’t tried them yet but they look good.

I wanted to buy some Halal meat and since I was in the area, I quickly checked Unilocal and found it.
I did not buy the meat from here. I just did not like the pre cut stuff and they did not have any they could cut for me.
They do have an amazing line up of spice blends and spices, utensils from India and Pakistan and some exotic dry fruits.

I love coming here for the spices and service. When they haven’t had a spice I wanted, they would order it and start carrying it (SERVICE!). Also, the spices they have are a darn good price, especially comparing with service available.
The frozen naan is amazing.
The meat? Very fresh. Very delicious. Very poorly cut. Their butcher leaves a lot of bone fragments in the cuts, which is an unpleasant surprise.
They carry imported biscuits for a good price.
Get some samosas to nibble on while you shop. It keeps you from overspending. They also have henna cones for you to doodle on your hand in the evening to have coworkers give you the sideeye for a couple of weeks.

Was doing some light shopping in Aurora and the World Food Bazaar was on my list of places that needed a visit, I love ethnic shops with new spices and other items that I don’t normally see.
This is family run joint, much smaller than I expected and not as much variety as I wanted. A small selection of meat in the back, spice were a bit over priced compared to other markets, and a small selection of sauces and packets for all sorts of cooking.
This wouldn’t be my first stop but could be an option if I was on a mission for something particular.

This is a great local «spice shop» for those of you in Lowery. I am going to have to start checking Mark T’s lists before I do anything ethnic. I did not find their prices to be high but I usually shop in Denver.
On a Saturday morning I was able to purchase a 15 item list of Indian specialty spices here by handing my list to the owner’s son. He walked through the store and educated me on each one, some of which have different names depending on the language used. I used the Bombay Café cookbook which we’ve used before but this was our most complete, fullout Indian meal. They even had the frozen nan that take less than 2 mins from oven to table.
I was excited to learn that they also have the fish and meat counter, a huge selection of gorgeous head scarves, housewares including many brass fitted ones which seem not to be made in the US anymore, and just about every middle eastern and Indian food stuff you could need. Dried fruits, whole seed spices, fresh samosas to snack on, and great customer service.
It’s at the very back of the lot just north of an auto dealer and southeast side of the street from the old Skate City.

The Pakistani family who own World Food Bazaar have some surprises in store for you when you stop by their little place at the back of an industrial estate near 2^nd and Havana.
The shop is enormous but very well-​organized, so whether you’re looking for beauty products, clothes or (of course) groceries you’ll be able to find it in a heartbeat.
From the flowery ice cream soda called Pakola to digestive biscuits, from violet-​distilled Banafsha syrup to preserved Hurda [inknut] fruit (good for swollen tonsils and hacking coughs respectively), from huge bags of Basmati rice to tasty fresh Samosa pastries, you can fill your South Asian needs here.
World Food Bazaar is sure to become a must-​stop on Havana Street from your first visit. Check it out and see for yourself!

Friendly atmosphere and service, exciting array of world food spices, teas, rice, lentils and condiments. Fresh halal (slaughtered according to Muslim law) meat including lamb and goat.
You can get great ‘bulk’ spices and chilies here. I bought a big bottle of spicy Pakistani ketchup. Whoo! Browse the fun looking sparkley earrings and cool foreign cosmetics as well.
We initially were trying to go to the Indian market down on Peoria and Parker but it was closed. As we were walking to the storefront another man was walking away and told us to go to World Food Bazaar instead. Great tip!

These guys have ethnic food from the Asian sub-​continent as well as Middle East and Africa. Huge variety and reasonable prices.
Run by owners — who are nice and curteous. I come here for all Indian spices, foods, snacks, etc.

Cant give the 5^th star as some times some of the products are old and taste stale. They also have Indian movie DVDs for rent.

Serving Zabihah Halal Meat and poultry for the Muslim Community in Colorado. They have Middle Eastern, African, Malaysian and Indo-​Pak Groceries. From various type of curries, chutneys, condiments, sauces, basmati rice and snacks. Frozen poultry and meats which are Zabihah Halal can be found here. Frozen pratha from Malaysia which I like but I can get a better deal else where. Some items can be pricey.
