Aaron Goldfarb is an entertainment attorney and music contractor in Austin, Texas. Goldfarb practices in the areas of copyright law, media licensing, independent film production, band agreements, and broadcasting law.

In addition to his law practice, Goldfarb is an active musician and songwriter in Austin, and has performed at two official SXSW showcases (2011 and 2015), The Plaza Classic Film Festival, and the Austin Jazz Festival. Aaron is the founder and president of the Goldfarb Music Agency, which books live music for events in the Austin area.

Goldfarb also practices in the area of administrative law, and has represented car dealerships in disputes with motor vehicle manufacturers and distributors. Goldfarb has represented clients before the TxDOT Department of Motor Vehicles Board and the State Office of Administrative Hearings.

A few weeks ago I was given a music copyright agreement form that needed to be thoroughly examined. After rereading the contract over and over I was having a hard time understanding it. So I reached out to a close friend and music partner of mine if she knew of a good attorney in Austin that practiced entertainment law and she referred me to Mr Goldfarb. Goldfarb was very approachable and personable from the start. I had learned that he was also a musician himself which made me feel he could understand me on creative level which was a huge plus. He was very quick and detailed in decoding the contract law and copyright law for me. He was able to point out crucial detail that I would have never understood on my own and saved me a potential huge headache down the road. I highly recommend him if you are searching for an attorney. I will definitely be using his services if and when another legal issue comes up in my music career.
