In addition to Accent Auto, I have also managed and supervised the front office of the Intercontinental Stephen F. Austin Hotel, and the quality control for Murphy’s Deli franchising in Houston, Texas. I owned 3 companies before the age of 30. I have managed over 6 companies. I speak few languages English french Spanish and Arabic. I have finance, management, and service experience and I am willing to take the extra miles to exceed my customers’ expectations. Bought a Groupon for an oil change. I went on Christmas Eve w/​a 9am appointment. I arrived early & they actually took me in at 8:45 (thank you Jesus)! This is a family owned business and I get exceptional service every time! They closed down their south Lamar location but this Ben White location is larger and better suited for this growing family business. They only took 20 mins for my oil change and they did a great job! Ps. You get 10% off car body services if you check in via Unilocal

I first used these guys to change my oil at their Lamar facilities and had a great experience back then. They have since closed that location and I’m here at the Ben White location. They kept my appointment time imagine that! That alone warrants five stars from me! They are very friendly and accommodating. I even had a Groupon and got the same great service. Eddie explained my options about an issue my car is having with no high pressure sales tactics. He was knowledgeable, fast, friendly and efficient. I appreciate this kind of service and will be back with or without a Groupon.

I Really Really appreciate everything Accent Auto did for me and my car. Eddy and Steven went above and beyond to help me fix my car after a previous mechanic had completely destroyed it. I picked my car up broken from a mechanic that said he could do everything I needed done for my car and I did not know where to take it or what to do next. I was freaking out, then a good friend recommended Accent Auto. So I called and from the very start Eddy was great. He made me feel at ease and told me not to worry because he could fix everything that the other mechanic had broke. The customer service at Accent Auto is the best that I have ever seen, they really care about their customers and keep you up to date on what is happening with your car while it is in their shop. Steven the mechanic that was working on my car fixed everything that was broken with my car and I could not be happier with the way my car turned out. I have not had any issues with the work they did on my car and I am extremely satisfied with the work and the customer service at Accent Auto. Now that I have found this place I will not be taking my cars anywhere else!

This business is ran by 2 brothers. Both of whom are not good at their job. I bought a car from them and talked to them about maybe doing auto repair on all my business cars since they had a garage. I tried very hard to build a good beneficial relationship. They were dishonest with me, did not do the repairs they charged me for, and were plain ol lazy. Like I said, very bad at their job. They could not complete very simple tasks in a timely manner, including not being able to get my permanent license plates to me within legal time and not being able to get parts they promised.
Save yourself from having to hear their bullshit and shop somewhere else.

This is the only place that has ever charged me extra for a «required premium filter» during an oil change. I’ve had my oil changed twice since then elsewhere with no up charge. In addition, the atmosphere was unprofessional, with the owner complaining openly about his business fallouts with his previous partner and other things that simply made the whole experience awkward. Avoid.

Bought my 2005 Excursion from these guys and had some mods done to it. These guys have got to be the best shop that I have found in decades. Customer service is key… and these guys have it.
If your looking to get tossed around like a number… This is not your shop!
If you want to be treated with respect and honesty… then kick back and relax and let these guys solve your problems.
Allowing someone to work on my vehicle can be one of the most stressful decisions for me.(I know my way around a vehicle) these guys got it going on!

I always come to Axent for all my vehicles needs. They’re always extremely helpful, quick, and a trustworthy company. The manager Joseph is always also always so friendly, makes it easy to sit and pass time while waiting on your car.

I was originally going to Axent to have them install tires that I was going to purchase from a different source, but instead, Joseph found some Bridgestone tires for me at $ 55 each! They installed my tires, I got an alignment, and my state inspection, all for under $ 450! I’m a super happy customer!
On top of it all, they had it ready for me the same day and were honest and communicated with me about everything!
I asked them to give me a brake estimate as well. I had taken my car to North Austin and was told that all my brakes needed to be replaced immediately at an estimate of $ 600. Axent looked at my brakes and said, they still had few more thousand miles on them and didn’t need to be replaced right away. I WILL however, take it to Axent when I’m ready to get my brakes replaced!

I, of course, waited until the day after my inspection sticker expired to start looking for an inspection shop. I found Axent on Unilocal,read the reviews, and decided to try the shop. They were very quick to set my expectation that there was another car in front of mine and asked if I minded waiting. I decided to try my luck and wait in line.
The waiting area was comfortable and the guys at the desk were friendly and conversational. In no time, my car was ready.
No muss, no fuss. I watched as they helped a couple of difficult customers and was quite impressed that they dealt with the situations as professionals. Great customer service. I’ll be back!

Crooks! Well, I suppose it is bound to happen at least once in a lifetime, I was cheated by these mechanics. And not the mechanics themselves per say, but the horrible, money grubbing guy that manages the place. THEY SOLD ME a Carburetor for OVER $ 600 dollars!!! I even saw the receipt that showed that they purchased it for $ 289! I’ve heard of mark up, but this is highway ROBBERY! When I confronted them there was no leeway, no desire to work with me and make things right, nothing! They told me they’d get the car up and running and totally fixed for $ 1000. I ended up with an extremely overpriced carburetor and the car broke down the very night I picked it up. Took it back and they started quoting me $ 800 to fix this, $ 300 for that, etc… And the I knew, I HAD BEEN TAKEN. SAVE YOURSELF! DON’T GO HERE! They are crooks and cheats! At least get an itemized receipt before you let them do the work. WATCH THESE GUYS CLOSELY! Good Luck, I hope this review saves some people some real heartache. Sux to get robbed.

Joe, Eddie and George at Accent Auto are always honest with me and don’t try to upsell me on anything. In fact, whenever possible, they try their best to save me some $$ when possible. I know this because they are very transparent about what their parts and labor costs are and I’ve checked them on the internet and they’ve always given the cheapest possible quote. They’ve always gone out of their way to give me great service, and Joe calls me every now and then just to check up on how my cars are running, etc.
These guys are great. Period.

FRAUD ALERT!!! FRAUD ALERT!!! A few wks ago a man came in my store selling large laminated discount cards for Axent Auto”s two locations (they seemed legit, the cards even had photos of the Axent staff). I bought one for 40 bucks.
Today i called to set up an appointment with them and a man with a mid-​east accent answered the phone and then proceeded to tell me he had no intention of honoring the card. He suggested i call the number on the card for a refund. Called the number and got some guy’s voicemail. I doubt i’ll hear back from them.
THESE GUYS ARE SCUM-​OF-​THE-​EARTH CROOKS! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! I will be notifying the Better business bureau of this fraudulent activity.

I brought my out of state vehicle to get inspected ($ 29) and there was almost zero wait to get the inspection started after filling out the brief paperwork. Due to problems with the onboard computer recently being reset due to a battery problem, I didn’t pass inspection the first two times but they informed me what was wrong and why, and what needed to be done and I got it taken care of within the 15 day grace period.
Unfortunately they forgot to give me an out of state inspection certificate and it caused me to have to make another trip back there to get the little piece of paper so I could get my car registered in Texas.
They are a family owned business and the guys there all seem very friendly, honest and smart. I will probably come back to Axent again for future mechanical issues with my car.

Don’t know why I didn’t give them 5 the first time, but after the incredible deal they gave me on tires and the prices for an oil change, they’ve earned it. I’ve spent a lot of time in the waiting room talking with the owner and you can see he has a very clear goal of making sure the provide what their customers are looking for. I haven’t tried one yet, but I’m also highly intrigued by the (still cheaper than Jiffy Lube) green oil change. Also not sure what that entails, but I’m willing to give it a shot because I know Axent wouldn’t sell me anything less than their best.
I’ll never get auto work done anywhere else again.

brought my Honda s2000 in for a rear main seal replacement. I was very impressed at the speed of the service and how they were willing to call me to update me on their progress. Additonally, its nice when a non-​dealership repair shop can work on a rare car like mine. I think they have a honda/​acura expert there.
