Business Owner

Sophia Andras was born in Budapest, Hungary. Sophia moved to Vienna, Austria after completing her education in Dentistry. She enjoyed her first dental clinic position in Vienna. Then immigrated to Calgary, Alberta Canada. Successfully completed the Canadian Board Exams to be a licensed dentist in Canada. Actively engaging in personal enrichment studies led Sophia to fulfil her dream of travel around the world for two years. In 1990 she traveled continuously through the South Pacific, Australia, Asia and Europe. Upon return to Canada in 1992 she continued to practice dentistry and learn new skills. Retired from dentistry and moved to Henderson, NV in 2003 and obtained her US citizenship. Not retired from life and learning, Sophia, enrolled into Oriental Medicine studies in Austin. Sophia uses her public speaking, facilitating and counseling skills to educate clients about the benefits of Acupoints & Herbs.

I just had my first session with Sophia yesterday. The first thing that struck me was how she radiated a sense of peace. She has a wonderful healing presence which is as valuable as knowledge and she clearly knows her field and is very professional. I felt her deep grounding in herself and her intuition combined with knowledge. She created a very safe environment for the treatment with her voice, her presence, her skill in placing needles. She listened to me carefully and respectfully and accurately diagnosed the issues i brought in and when i left i felt energized and supported on every level in attaining to the highest level of health possible. Sophia is a real jewel and I’ve been to lots of excellent acupuncturists over the years. She is definitely going to be on my health care team.

Acupoints and Herbs is such a wonderful place, specifically Sophia! I have had acupuncture with her a few times, and what a difference it has made in my life! She truly cares about her clients and treats the whole person not just the problem area. She’s a very special lady, and such a talented acupuncturist. I have recommended several people to her for a number of different ailments, and each one of them has thanked me for the amazing positive effect in their lives. Just go see her!

HORMONAL BALANCE: I am so thankful to have found Sophia! I was struggling with my health getting back into balance after getting off birth control hormones. Conventional doctors suggested I get back on the hormones that had caused all the imbalances in the first place! Within 6 sessions, Sophia had restored the balance I had been looking for over the course of 11+ months! She goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and make sure that your health goals are achieved. I fully trust her and plan to continue my treatments to address other health issues.
She is so kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and a true healer! I could not recommend her highly enough.

This was my first experience with acupuncture.. we have been under an incredible amount of stress and some generous friends gifted us each with a session. I was absolutely amazed by the difference it made! Belinda spent a lot of time with me, not only explaining the process but also just listening to me so she could understand what I need. She also gave me ideas for remedies and resources I can try at home.
The treatment itself was one of the best thirty minutes I’ve ever spent on my body.
If you are in search of a kind, caring, approachable expert housed in a beautiful, relaxing environment, Belinda at Acupoints is the person you need to see.

Belinda is kind, intuitive, and a great acupuncturist! She took the time to explain everything, and put me completely at ease. Her office was clean and soothing. I came in with pain in my lower back. She not only fixed that, but went the extra mile to work on some other problem areas. I left the session feeling relaxed and stress-​free. I would definitely go back and highly recommend Belinda to friends.

Belinda is a compassionate caring Acupuncturist. She’s a great listener with a gentle touch. Whether stressed or in pain, I’ve been at about a 9 to 10 and she was able to bring me down to a very relaxed 1 or 2. Works for me.
