I tell people I am from Austin. I learned how to drive here. I’ve been here more than half of my life. This is the city I with which I most readily identify.

I left for college and attended CU Boulder. While at Boulder I studied film and history. Upon returning I worked in the film industry on all side of production before deciding I would pour my efforts into photography.

There is a wealth of fascinating people in this city. I want to meet you and take your picture.

I looked at more than 50 websites of Austin photographers and was disappointed at the dull sameness of most of their work. When I found Adam’s site, I could immediately see a difference. His photos looked like real people, the pictures actually showed the personality of the subject instead of a stilted pose. Now, I am not a model or a singer in a rock band; I’m a 62-​year-​old professional speaker… but I had a feeling Adam could truly capture me in a photo. I enjoyed my session with him a great deal. He had great ideas and they all turned out so well. I was more than pleased, I was ecstatic with the quality and variety of my shots. This guy has the eye of an artist and you will LOVE his pictures of you.

He is a talented actor so he really understands the business and what I needed in my head shots, and he delivered. When I change my look I’ll be going back to Adam.

Headshots are awkward. Adam did a fantastic job making the shoot relaxed, comfortable and even enjoyable! I just met him the day of the shoot yet I trusted him completely. He really knows what he is doing and his pictures prove it. They are authentic and beautiful and really look like like me. Adam was absolutely amazing to work with! I got my first headshots taken almost twenty years ago and have had many taken since, and the ones he took might be my favorites. I have had excellent feedback on them all. He was great at directing me to get just the right expressions, which no photographer has done as well before in my experiences. My friend recommended him and I absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for the best products.

Adam was incredibly easy to work with, and had a keen instinct on how to give me direction in order to best capture the shots that I needed. He was also great at giving me suggestions to look my best and was very thorough in explaining his process which made the shoot and choosing my shots so much easier and efficient.

I had a great time working with Adam for my actor headshot session. He wasn’t worried about taking the perfect picture when we were shooting, instead he was more focused on getting to know me as a person and having worthwhile conversations. Adam is a very skilled photographer in the sense that he knows that the model’s comfortability and openness is what ultimately shines through the picture. Not external factors. I’ve worked with many photographers before and it’s such a relief to have a session that made me feel like another human, not a prop. I highly recommend Adam for any photographic needs!

Adam is truly committed to getting «the shot» and work until it unfolds on camera. Having acting experience himself, he definitely understands what is needed in a headshot, which is a very specific sort of image and not easy to do. While shooting, he gave me great tips on what to think about to get the best expression. Instead of a typical «look at me I’m smiling and pretty» headshot.
