History

Established in 1997.

Laurie Marchant and Susan Alexander started their business as a furniture refinishing and repair business called Antiquity Workshop. With extensive experience in furniture and reproduction parts, the business partners gravitated towards the hardware component of the furniture business.

In 2001, they started Alexander Marchant as a hardware resource for design professionals in the Austin, San Antonio and the Hill Country.

Alexander Marchant ‘s goal is to represent and provide the best products available on the market. With door and cabinet hardware as a spring board, in 2008 they expanded into decorative lighting as well as a variety of architectural products.
