I go see Jill here for my piercings and I am in the process of getting a tattoo removed with her. Jill always takes her time and is very patient answering any and all of my questions. She is also very informative in after care for my piercings and when I do a laser session with her. She is for sure my go to in Austin. Very professional and kind. I recommend seeing her for any tattoo removal or piercing needs!

Jill is amazing! She is always so patient and answers all of my questions no matter how silly they may seem to me. I have gotten all of my piercings done by her and multiple laser tattoo removal sessions because I genuinely feel like she is knowledgeable and cares about her job. I send everybody her way. If you want it done right the first time by a PRO go see Jill.

I have 4 tattoos from Drew now. The first one was years ago. I was a walk in and just wanted a key on my wrist. He listened to what I wanted and didn’t give me a hard time about my generic tattoo choice. He talked me into making it bigger than I originally requested, which I don’t regret. It was super quick and he charged me the minimum. I soon after made subsequent appointments to get larger tattoos from him. Over the years I have also gotten my shoulder blade and both thighs. They are beautiful, bright and clean.
I will keep going back to him. I’m also interested in getting a tattoo from Karina in the new future. I give this shop an A+

This review is for Jill! I was looking for a specifically sized septum ring and she went out of her way to make sure I got what I needed.
She measured my nose from the piercing to where I wanted it to hang down so that it would show, and found me a captive ball ring that worked perfectly.
She also offered to order me any special septum jewelry if I couldn’t find what I wanted in stores.
She didn’t make me feel inferior for not knowing what diameter would work best and was easy to talk to.

After having my fair share of mediocre tattoos, and even going through the painful process of trying to get one of them removed, I set out to find a skilled artist that could restore my faith in good body art. After spending what seems like an eternity, I came across Karina Figueroa at Amillion Tattoo through a friend.
«Could it be true?!» I thought to myself after looking at the beautiful images on Instagram. I immediately emailed her and scheduled an initial appointment.
When I met Karina she greeted my husband and I with a pleasant smile and took us to an upstairs area of the tattoo parlor (that spiral staircase is badass). She asked me a series of simple questions about what I wanted to accomplish and what I wanted it to look like, which in my case was a shoulder cover-​up and a Mandela/​Floral arrangement.
She asked to see the monstrosity and immediately mentioned that in order to achieve the best possible work, she would suggest having it lasered a few additional times. She then personally introduced me to Jill, who was the certified laser technician in the facility (who also does a wonderful job!).
I continued a few sessions with Jill, after which on my last visit (fast forward a few months), Karina personally came down and took a look at the progress thus far and confirmed that we would be good to go for our tattoo session.
Finally, the day came for me to get my tattoo. We walked in the door, and there was Karina waiting for us. She took us back to the upstairs room and we confirmed what I wanted to accomplish. A half-​hour later and we had the overall design. I’m thinking to myself, «Damn, this girl is good!» A few design revisions later and some explanation on what she needed to do for the cover-​up, and we were down to business.
Now, I’ve had some artists that just dig in like you’re going for a bone marrow transplant, but Karina has one of the best techniques I’ve ever seen — I barely felt a thing.
3 hours later, and she was done; to perfection! Bold lines, brilliant colors, very High-​Def, and most important of all I couldn’t see that old tattoo! Fast forward a few more weeks, and I couldn’t be happier with the work. The entire site has healed nicely and I love showing off Karina’s skill.
Overall, I was extremely impressed with Karina’s professional attitude, attention to detail, and most of all, listening to what I wanted. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for quality work. It’s going to be hard not to plan a full sleeve in the future, but if I did, it would be Karina doing the work!

Shane in an artist and professional in all sense of the word. I showed him a pic of a semi colon project butterfly tattoo that was interested in getting. His ability to sketch and transform the original into a work of art was outstanding. My daughter had a cheery blossom branch tattooed on her upper shoulder and it is absolutely gorgeous! The branches look so real and the shading of the cherry blossoms make them pop.

Jill was absolutely AMAZING. My gf and I walked in on a Sunday afternoon and she was able see us right away. I got a double helix and lobe piercings and my gf got a double cartilage and lobe piercings. Jill was super nice and accommodating! We were indecisive about the types of gems, sizes, etc. of the jewelry and Jill was kind enough to help us without the whole «salesman» pitch to get the more expensive ones. She gave advice on what works best for our individual ears — it was great! The actual piercing session went smoothly (even though my gf was super nervous and clenching the whole time: D) — she made us feel very relaxed and made us laugh too, even though we both were getting x4 piercings. The room was super clean and she sprayed down everything before and in between our sessions and changed gloves many times. For aftercare, she walked us through everything and answered all of our questions. She even gave us her cell number, just in case we had more questions. Both of us will DEFINITELY be back to the shop for more piercings from Jill!

Today I went in and Ricky pierced my cartilage. I get lots of anxiety from needles and he totally understood. Ricky was confident and explained everything well to me. He made me feel better and made sure I was feeling okay after the piercing. I will definitely be going back to him for any future piercings!

I just received a follow up email from Amillion on my experience there and asking if I had any questions or comments. I thought that was a pretty cool thing for them to do and it reminded me that I never wrote a review for them, which I wanted to do as soon as I left, because I love them.
I have been to Amillion twice now. Once for a tattoo on Friday the 13^th and once for the aforementioned nostril piercing.
For my Friday the 13^th tattoo experience I saw Ian. He did a great job on my little key thing and it has healed up really well. He was very personable and easy to talk to. He even gave my friend a paper towel to put between ours hands as she held my sweaty, nervous one. Very cool dude.
My nostril piercing experience was great as well. I walked in on a Sunday afternoon, about four weeks ago, and Jill was the piercer available. She did a FANTASTIC job of explaining aftercare to me and even told me how to make my own saline solution to soak my piercing in. She was really thorough and I appreciated the time she took with me to go over everything. The piercing hurt, as you might expect, but Jill talked me through the process and I felt totally comfortable. And so far, the piercing is healing up rather nicely!
I will definitely be back to Amillion for my future tattoo and piercing needs.

Highly recommend Jorge!!! Been back to him twice already in the last year! From the small intricate line work on my wrist to the custom design on my ribs, Jorge has given me beautiful pieces of art that I receive compliments on all the time! Super talented artist!

Got an Indian skull tattoo by Garett Potts. He did a great job! I gave him an idea of what I wanted and he drew up an amazing piece. I’ll definitely be going back to him.

I recently went to Amillion Tattoos for some work by their apprentice Randy. He was super accommodating, designed a piece exactly how I wanted it, and it was a major plus that he was friendly and made sure I was comfortable while he was working on me.
I was very impressed with how fast we got to work and even more impressed with the final product. I have 5 large completed tattoos already by seasoned artists and I have to admit I was a wee bit nervous being tattooed by an apprentice. His work on instagram looks excellent so I was pretty confident that my piece would be too and I was not disappointed. He designed a «death before decaf» coffee cup with a bright red glow behind it for me, which I am so in love with I can’t wait to go work at my coffee shop and show it off.
First of all, the font is AMAZING. He also did a great job with shading and the lines are also very steady. The color is bright and bold and I know it was a challenge to work with red since I was bleeding a little but it came out evenly despite the fact that he probably couldn’t tell what was my blood and what was his ink haha. The shading is simple and beautiful and I just am thrilled with the final piece as a whole because it’s exactly what I had in my head without having to explain it in great detail to him.
Finally, as a huge chicken when it comes to tattoos (or at least a huge baby since I have cried twice during tattoos) I was SO impressed with how gentle he was. It was almost painless for me and yet the lines are bold, as is the color. He was also clearly very focused and let me know periodically how things were going.
I would definitely recommend the shop as a whole, all of the artists there had impressive artwork in their books, and I already have a second appointment for another tattoo by Randy!

Ali Walters is a fantastic artist. We worked together on a tattoo idea and she gave me a great design within the week. I expected to request changes or discuss the final design a bit. It was so amazing I didn’t want to change anything.
Can’t wait to get my second tat from her.

I had some work done at this shop previously with no issues, but this is not a review of those experiences, this is a review of my most recent experience with an artist I had not worked with before.
Shane Watkins came highly recommended by some people I know from the bars downtown. I made an appointment to have a couple small-​ish pieces added to my collection. While we were discussing what I wanted, he told me it should take about three hours. Sounded great and I made the appointment.
When I arrived. I waited. And waited. I’m not talking about 5 minutes, but closer to half an hour I waited until he finally arrived. No apology, no reason for being late, just a «hey, how’s it going?»
He walked me to his station upstairs, he showed me what he had done (looked like a tracing of the pictures I’d emailed him, but it was exactly what I wanted) and walked downstairs, leaving me alone. While I waited, I heard him talking to the other employees of the shop for a long time and another client that walked in, I couldn’t believe how much this guy was talking. But, I waited, and waited again. Finally, two hours into my three hour appointment he came back smelling like he had been wrestling with a skunk (he did not smell like this earlier.) This not being my first tattoo, I could tell he was rushing when he finally got to work. Then he started feeding me a story about how my skin wasn’t as great as other people’s and that people with fairer skin tattoo better; that these tattoos would look better on other people. I am very familiar with how ink takes on my skin, again, this isn’t my first tattoo, and I realize I’ll probably have to get this touched up sooner rather than later.
Finally, he finishes and he has the gaul to try and charge me for the full three hours! Luckily, I was texting my wife the entire time and I showed him the time on my phone when we started. He dithered and fussed, but then took the money I offered. I left and now I’m the proud owner of two tattoos that don’t look nearly as good as they should.
Take my advice, find someone better. I saw a lot of good work happening there while I was waiting for Shane.

Garrett Potts did an awesome job on my hand tattoo coverup! Very friendly and outgoing, definitely helps under the gun. Will be returning to add on to this for a full sleeve!

Just got my third tattoo with Ali. Her work, professionalism and personality are top self. Two of mine were cover ups, on one I had drawn a design but it wouldn’t be able to cover very well so Ali created a design that incorporated my ideas and created a design that was so much better than my idea. I love her creativity and am so happy with the results.
The entire shop is so personable and everyone there makes you feel so at ease. Just a fun and happy place to be, like hanging out with friends. I will be back!

We not-​so-​randomly walked in on a Saturday night. My friend was getting a tattoo at the same time by another artist, but I wanted to be spontaneous and get an anniversary tattoo with my husband.
Our tattoo artist was Ian Bederman. He was a good listener and collaborator. We both got roman numerals, so the design itself was pretty straightforward. I also added a small crescent moon.
The tattoo process itself went pretty quickly without much pain. My tattoo is located near the outside of my wrist, so not a particularly sensitive area. Ian was receptive to suggestions and we had great communication. We ended up adding some color to the crescent moon and a tiny star to balance out the piece.
Ian was also very helpful in determining the placement of my husband’s tattoo. The spot where he originally wanted it was not ideal and he suggested some better suited areas.
Ian was great and I would definitely come back. His communication was excellent, which is so important when you are adding something permanent to your body.

KARINA is amazing! She is very organized, neat, clean with great personality. I never met her before but when I first met her it was like we were already friends. All I told her was I wanted a gypsy girl and make her beautiful, oh boy she exceeded my expectations. Her lines are crisp and clean. And took time on the little details. I think she can do whatever you wanted but I love her henna, mandala, mehndi work. She is awesomely talented and you won’t regret choosing her as your artist.
The shop was very friendly too, everyone chatted like buddies. By the time I left it was pretty busy. So I definitely recommend choosing your artist and making an appointment if you don’t want to wait

Why did I choose this place: I was looking for a new tattoo place near my area with great review: This place had a such a good review and was in a very convenient area for me.
What did I «want to» get: Wanted to get matching double infinity tattoo with my husband for our anniversary that lines up together
What did I get: unfriendly service from the tattoo artist Drew
How long did it take: 45 minutes in and out.
How much did it cost: 160 + tip
We knew exactly what we wanted to get. we talked about it for two years as this was going to be my husband’s 1^st tattoo and my 3^rd. We even brought a temporary tattoo we made for the several fittings we did at home.
Tattoo was small (~1″), single color, probably beneath his artistic level. The fitting was probably the most important part of the whole thing as I really wanted them to line up nicely. Throughout the fitting Drew was impatient and irritable and made me feel like I’m committing a capital offence by wanting the tattoo be place in the exact place I want.
I’m about to place something permanent on my body and my husband’s and this person who’s about to do it is full of attitude. A million thought was going through my head and really wanted to take off but I tried to smile and stay with it because I didn’t want to start out our anniversary with a fight with a stranger.
As far as the actual tattoo-​ing goes, he was fast and of sure hand.
One more thing, the care instruction wasn’t given. We were given a paper to read and sign. but that was the extent of it. On my last tattooing, the tattoo artist explained how to do the after care and sent me off with the care instruction packet.
I certainly wouldn’t go back there and definitely would not recommend the place and Drew to anyone, especially tattoo noobs.
